@lock_code2004 ... yes, he had a successful assessment from vetassess and relevant ang work experience nya.... But we were wondering why isang company lng ang naka lagay na name sa final assessment though we had provided documents in both companies...... We did not paid for point test advice... cause parang additional expenese lng.... so we are thinking to follow kung ano naka sulat sa assessment.... Though we know the final decision is still with DIAC.. so nothing harms if we include the other company... let DIAC decide... Parang crucial lng kasi ang EOI kasi if magkamali ka to claim mo maraming oras ang mawawala...

@meehmooh - that is the reason why they did not include the other companies in the assessment... the points test advice will give you information if the work/educ are relevant sa nominated application..DIAC will use that as their basis for awarding points to your Educ qualification and related work experience..

at dahil hindi kayo nag-avail nun, they (vetassess) only assessed you based on their minimum requirements..

I've read somewhere na may nagclaim points sa work exp na wala naman sa assessment results.. pina-alis ng DIAC ang points at dahil dun, na-update ang EOI, so balik ulit sa umpisa..

it's a risk to include ung work exp na wala sa assessment.. ang suggestion ko, just stick kung anu ang assessment result...

but it's your decision...

Question po... nagfifillup ako ng visa application, may mga questions po ako"

1. may item dun "Date of skills assessment"... date po ba to when you submitted your requirements sa ACS? o when they actually issued the result? (I submitted Nov 18, pero nakuha ko result Jan 08)

2. yung start date ng schooling ko sa University eh ni-edit ko. Magmamatter ba sya since ibang day ang nilagay ko sa EOI? (I changed the date from May 4 to May 25)

2. Not a big deal... hindi naman sya makaka-affect sa points mo..

one more question, kelan po iaattach yung mga required documents such as passport, birth cert, ielts, acs result, etc. Right after ma submit yung visa application? Nasa last page na ako eh (bayaran na via credit card) hehe. Pero I didn't notice na may option na iattach yung mga docs... advise naman po ulet. Tnx

@Khaosan_Road, wala na po kami time mamasyal sa Bangkok. kailangan mag ipon para my pang gastos sa AU pag nagrant na ang visa. Sa Au nyo na lang po kami ipasyal..

By the way po, may isa po akung question.. ang mag claim po ba ng partner skill dapat sa same SOL kayo.. like if SOL 1 husband ko... dapat ang skill ko sa SOL 1 din? or just same year ng list ng SOL?

tama po.. you should be on the same list...
SOL kung SOL, CSOL kung CSOL..

Eto ang Statement sa DIAC website:
"your partner’s nominated occupation must be on the same Skilled Occupation List as your nominated occupation"

@lock_code2004 Yes sir, magkaiba nga kami..sa construction ako, sa hotel nmn yung husband ko.. i thought as long as pareho kayo pumasa sa assessment, counted yun as partner skills.. hindi pala.. Anyway,i was thinking na sa vetasses na rin paassess (Civil Engineering Draftsperson - EA/Vetasses), para pareho na kami ng husband ko.. at nabasa ko sa ibang thread na mas matagal lumabas yung resulta but, mas mababa yung passing point nila.(hindi nmn po issue yung time, as long as lumalakad yung application)tsaka we're buying time talaga rin para makapagprepare financially. May mga dapat ba ko iconsider sir kung dun ako papaasess instead of EA.

One more thing,nabasa ko po sa isa sa mga comment nyo here din sa discussion na to about assessment na parang sa dapat for pointing system..tapos may assessment din na magiging positive kasi nameet lang yung minimum requirements tama po ba.. honestly naguluhan po ako dun.

1. i think you misinterpreted yung statement about claiming points for partner's assessment and that is should be on the same list... ang ibig sabihin po ng DIAC... kung ang primary's occupation ay nsa SOL Sched 1, dapat nandun din ang occupation ng partner to be able to claim the partner's skill (5 pts)...

so kung nasa CSOL po ang primary, dapat nandun din ang occupation ng secondary.. to be able to claim the partner's skill (5pts)

please double check nyo po ang mga occupation nyo kung nasaang list sila..

tapos sa partner ko naman:

Custody, Evidence of (recommended) - above 18 naman xa

not so sure though bakit hiningan pa kmi ng ganitong documents.
Sa workexperience and qualification sa australia NO naman ang answer ko dun.

Anyone have the same case as ours?

@lock_code2004 ... hahaha,.. masyado po ba general yung pagkakalagay ko...Construction -CE drftsprson po -SOL, while Hotel (conference and event organiser - CSOL).. kaya magkaiba po kami occupation list.. that means hindi po nmin makukuha yung partner skills.. tama po di ba..

as for the second question po, hahanapin ko lang yung mismong message nyo..

@lock_code2004 ... hahah, hindi ko na mahanapan, though kahapon ko lang sya binasa.. anyway, quoted po to from @boyolo - "actually under the new Skillselect system, point advise letter (usually called advisory letter) is not compulsory but it is HIGHLY advisable to get it if you have atleast three (3) years work experience ( i got one for my 5 years work experience). Even DIAC recommends it. The advisory letter is to tell DIAC that your years of work experience is relevant to the nominated occupation. if you dont get an advise letter, DIAC will still count your work expereince but they will have to evaluate the work experience to know if it is relevant to your nominated skill which the advise letter would have done already.Vetassess would not state your point on the letter but will state the years of work experience that they believe is relevant to your nominated skill. from the years of relevant work experience, you can calculate your point from DIAC website - 3 yrs to less than 5years = 5 points, 5 years to less than 8 years = 10 points, and 8 years = 15 points (for overseas work experience anyway)."

hi @dakz, meron din kaming ganyan. i think options lang yan. pero kung wala nman tayo mapprovide na proof dyan, it means wag tyo mag uupload sa options na yan.
dun lang po tyo sa Overseas, Work Experience and Qualifications, Overseas.

pero tama nga, nakakalito at first. kasi bat nila nilalagay pa yan sa list.

Correct si @peach17 - lahat tayo ganyan lumalabas right at the very start... WHEN the time comes that you will be assigned a CO, it will be update as per exact requirement.

To give you an example - yung mga above items na nilista mo, naging NOT REQUIRED na sya as it does not apply to our specific case...

Sinabi mo pa @peach17 - nakakalito talaga ang uploading sa eVisa system nila. it also doesn't help the fact that (1) super mabagal mag-upload and (2) sometime, the docs you upload will not be saved in the system.

Just hang on there!!
