Hello everyone! 491 applicant here.

I just want to ask some questions, currently unemployed po ako nastuck dahil sa covid. Just wondering, if matagalan po application or grant ng visa...

Is there a possibility mabawasan po ng 5points yung work experience outside australia dahil currently not working po ako? Applicable po ba dto yung freezing of my profile after the invite once its granted?

I just reached 5 yrs and 4 months to be exact po for my nominated skill.

Just torn between applying again for a job once MECQ eases (at least continuous yung work experience)
Or
Wait nlng po magrant yung visa which i know there is no certainty due to the pandemic.

hello, @rabalbalosa. hindi dependent sa points ang state sponsored 491, unlike ung sa family sponsored. i just received my invite from the NT on May 28th, 2020. 75 points lang ako. depende sa need ng state/territory.

Hi! Currently in the process of researching kasi I want to try to migrate to Australia. I'm an occupational therapist ANZSCO 252411. According to my research after i take the PTE and do my skills assessment tapos magpositive, the next step is maglodge na po ako ng EOI.

Medyo confused pa po ako kung paano ba masponsor ng state? Automatic na ba yun na when I lodge my EOI pwedeng may state na maginvite sakin if they need occupational therapists? Or magsubmit pa po ako ng other requirements sa state bago ako magpass ng EOI para magkaron ng state nomination points?

And last question po. My boyfriend also wants to apply for the 491 visa his job is also in the occupation list ANZSCO 252511, mahihirapan po ba kami if ever to get into the same state?

Check mo https://www.anzscosearch.com/252411 regarding state eligibility and details. Each state/territory may have its own requirements, like for the Northern Territory, for example, you have to lodge an application to the NT Migration Portal, after lodging your EOI. South Australia, I believe, does this as well. When you lodge your EOI (unless it is 189), you normally tick a sponsoring state/territory (sub class 190, 491 state sponsored).

No. A member of your family unit can be your:
• partner – married or de facto (same or opposite sex); or
• dependent child, up to 23 years of age

Hello! I received a notif from skillselect na nag-update yung points ko (experience milestone). I remember nung nag apply ako for nomination sa SA, tinanong dun kung ilang points yung EOI ko. Do I need to inform the state about the changes or automatic na rin yun magrereflect sa Immigration SA?

Immediately after visa fee payment, I have received messages from Home Affairs notifying me of the need to furnish biometrics and to undergo health examinations. I have just realised that the VFS Global here in Singapore has been temporarily closed due to COVID-19. As my wife and are given 14 days to provide the biometrics, we reckon this is not likely at the moment because of the pandemic. Would you be able to provide any ideas on how we could let the home affairs know about our situation?

You need to write a cover letter asking for an extension and upload it to your immiaccount. That’s strange, normally they give 28 days to respond. All the best.

Hi I am an occupational therapist too... as per your question, it depends on the state kung saan mo gusto mag-apply. In addition to EOI, you have to apply on their own website for 491/190 in SA and Tasmania. I think sa NSW, Victoria and QLD, enough na yun EOI basta naka-indicate yun intended state mo sa EOI. Hi I am an occupational therapist too... as per your question, it depends on the state kung saan mo gusto mag-apply. In addition to EOI, you have to apply on their own website for 491/190 in SA and Tasmania. I think sa NSW, Victoria and QLD, enough na yun EOI basta naka-indicate yun intended state mo sa EOI. Hi. My first degree cousin wants to sponsor ke for 491 family sponsored visa. I already sent EOI 190 and 491 VIC. Kaso its been a year na, wala pading invite (85/ 95 points.) ask ko lang, magkakaproblem ba if i applied for VIC then nagapply ako ng 491 QLD? Two states? TIA.

Offshore applications are not prioritised for this financial year (July 2020-june2021)....hence no state and regional areas are sponsoring offshore applications.
