Hello po. Helping a friend. Currently nagaapply siya ng 494 visa at nasa UAE ngayon. Ang anak niya ay nasa pinas, kailangan po ba magbiometric ang anak niya na nasa pinas? sana may makahelp po.

"The Department will run quarterly invitation rounds for the remainder of 2020-21 program year. The next invitation round will run in April 2021."

Tama ba intindi ko dito

    • meaning the next batch of invites will be released ng April 2021?
    • following that, would be July 2021?

For each invitation round, may cut-off ba ng applications? ie Applications received up to March 31 will only be considered.

Hi po sa lahat. Asking for my brother.
A friend just informed me today na back to 65 points na daw ang Industrial Engineering skill which was a pro-rata. So, I checked online. Baka namalik-mata lang din ako so can anyone confirm na tinanggal na mostly pro-rata skills?
    Thanks ๐Ÿ˜Š

What I mean po is the high demand skills like Accountants, ME, IE, IT for 189/491.
The last time I checked was mga 90 points and minimum para maka-ITA..Now is N/A na..Does N/A mean back to 65 points kaya or no more ITA to these skills?
    Please refer screenshots. Thanks

If you visit the website of the assessing authority, you will find the information youโ€™re looking for. In fact, youโ€™ll be able to get the updated requirements from their website. Policies get updated/change so itโ€™s safe to also check the website. All the best.

For the payslips, 2 cut offs lang po yung pinasa ko - yung latest. Then sa ITR, ang hiningi po ay lahat since na-employed. COE will suffice po. :)

    Hello everyone,

As much as I am hoping for a positive response regarding my query. Sana lang hindi mapupunta sa wala ang desire namin to migrate to Australia.

Is it true that subclass 189 and 190 visa now is just like a scam for migration agencies?

Why would you think itโ€™s a scam? Whatโ€™s the basis for such claim? I myself, as a qualified registered agent wouldnโ€™t engage in any scam otherwise I will be sanctioned by our regulatory body. This goes for all registered migration agents.

    Hello, question lang, my wife and I are both Engineers and we have 1 kid, if we plan apply for subclass 189, I have a few questions;

    1) Do we need to file separate applications? Because there is an option that i can include them in my application.
    2) If i include them in my application does my wife still need to go Skills Assessment or only the English Assessment will do?

    1. you need to assess your situation with the following points: a. who will turn out to be having more points; b. which occupation is not on the pro rata list; c. who has higher english competency result? if you have data on these questions, you will have the best option who should be the primary applicant.

    2. if you opt to be the primary, yes you can have ur wife assessed with her skills assessment and english proficiency so that you can claim an extra 5 points on your skillselect application.

    hope these answers help.

to avoid locking up in a contract with migration agent without certainty you will be invited, you should consider the following:

    1. although the minimum points to get into skillselect is only 65, you should always update with the most recent invitation round what is the point to be invited. MA will always accomodate you because it is what they do, but they will push you to increase english points for example to max so that u can max ur score, if u cant acheive this its not their fault. so the lesson here do not engage with them when ur not confident of ur english skills and ur points are at the minimum.

    2. do a lot of research before engaging with Migration agent, mostly it is our lack of information that gets us trapped in compromising situations, read the contract before you sign, seek help from others who experienced the same, and have due diligence to scrutinize the services of the agent by looking for reviews and testimonials from clients who availed their services.

    3. if you sacrifice some time and efforts, u can do the application on your own, the same as most did in this forum and who are now here in Australia.

    God bless on your journey....

    1) Iโ€™m not sure which application youโ€™re referring to - skills assessment or visa application?

    2) if you want to gain 10 points then thatโ€™s a big YES to both skills assessment and English!

A few tips when you plan your strategy:

    1) donโ€™t fixate your application on just 189 visa. Not until youโ€™re about to lodge your EOI, it is very difficult to be decisive on the visa subclass to apply for. Be content with knowing that you have 3 subclasses as options. The reason behind this is that itโ€™s somehow premature to decide on a visa subclass when in reality, process can change from the time you start working on your skills assessment application to getting the results. I always tell my clients that weโ€™ll review their options when weโ€™re ready to lodge the EOI.

    2) it is beneficial to have your wife skills assessed. Both of you can lodge an EOI, both can claim 10 points (English + positive skills assessment). Whoever gets invited will then become the main applicant.

    All the best!

Thanks for the advice, the application that I was referring to is the Visa application. I think what you said on both lodging and EOI will be a good approach. If that is the case, then we will both have ourselves do skills assessment. Will it not be an issue if the reviewers will see the two EOIs lodged are somehow related since it contains the same set of people?

Another question, considering the pandemic situation as of the moment, how has it affected the processing of the visa applications? I read that there were 17 or 18 skills that was defined as priority for assessment under PMSOL, and based on the list we think both my wife and can qualify under one fo the skills listed.

    1) Do we need to file separate applications? Because there is an option that i can include them in my application.
    2) If i include them in my application does my wife still need to go Skills Assessment or only the English Assessment will do?

Hi po Ma'am Rhea, with regards to this po (planning to apply me as de facto, then my partner will be the primary applicant), may chance po bang makakuha ako ng work related sa skills assessment ko or may chance na hindi since hindi ako ung primary applicant? maraming salamat in advance!

With regards to the Statutory Declaration for Vetassess, meron po ba dito may sample template? Can you share it please? I am planning to substitute this as replacement sa Statement of Service, I have other documents to use as supplemental documents (Appointment/promotion letters, payslips etc.). I do not want to inform my Employer at this stage since assessment pa lang naman and possible pa na matagalan yung visa processing. I read that you can mention in the statutory declaration that informing the Employer that you are exploring options on migrating might compromise current employment situation and future career opportunities. May naka experience na ba sa inyo ng similar situation?

Thanks for the advice, the application that I was referring to is the Visa application. I think what you said on both lodging and EOI will be a good approach. If that is the case, then we will both have ourselves do skills assessment. Will it not be an issue if the reviewers will see the two EOIs lodged are somehow related since it contains the same set of people?

Also my question. Thinking of lodging 2 EOIs, one with myself as main applicant, the other my wife. I am also concerned with how the immigration will think.

And what if both are given invitations, is there no harm when one invitation is cancelled by the applicant since your other invitation covers both of you already?

Hello everyone. Hope you and your family are well. Need your help/advice po sana :) . Nagresign ako recently sa job which I claimed points sa ACS. My ACS is valid until next year pa.
    1. Tama po ba, need ko po iupdate EOI to reflect yung end date ko sa previous job ko? (naka blank kasi siya since siya yung current that time)
    2. Required po ba na kumuha ng new ACS para sa new job ko even if valid pa po ACS ko? (same role po sila as previous and di po ako magclaim po for now sa new job since valid pa po ACS)
    3. Need ko po ba iupdate EOI to reflect yung new job pero mark it as irrelevant for now? (or wag na po muna since plan ko naman po magclaim ng points dito if ever sa next application ko)

Salamat po sa inputs. Thank you! :)
