Hello po. Makakapag apply pa po ba tayong mga ME ng state sponsorship pag offshore at walang at least 1yr experience sa kahit AU? Parang halos lahat ng state may additional requirements at di magqqualify for 491/190. Any thoughts po?

    Hello po sa lahat!
Registered ECE po ako sa pinas but in shipbuilding experience specifically in painting department (malayong-malayo sa profession). I plan to apply for Industrial or Production Engineer in EA (since it has the closest in description to my work). Tama po ba ginagawa ko na ibase ang CDR writing and Summary Statement sa Industrial Engineer or Production Engineer and not as an ECE?
    Thanks in advance!

Hi I am not familiar with your case but you may want to check the latest guidelines released by Engineer Australia they might have guidance on your case. Or FAQs page. Better to get info directly from them. You might want to check other threads regarding skills assessment na similar ng case mo.

    Hi Sir,

I am doing the same thing, manufacturing engineering graduate, most of my experience in Supply Chain. I aligned my Summary Statement/CDR on the ANZSCO description of Production Engineer. Based on what i read on the EA MSA manual, it should be okay as long as the competency elements of either PE, ET or EA are met and justified properly, supported by proper documentation.

I'm just waiting for the COE from an employer before I submit, will let you know how it turns out!

@jun_als89 hello. Gamitin nyo po kung saan mas match/ mas matagal yung experience nyo as per anzsco. Kung san kayo makakakuha ng higher points.

I had an officemate po, EE graduate pero nagpa assess as IE kase mas IE related ang work nya, nakalusot naman po sa EA. That was 2018.

    All the best!

Congrats for having decided to migrate to Australia. First off, please check with Engineers Australia website for their latest guidelines. Baka kasi may mga nag-iba na. For starters, alam ko po kelangan nyo proof of full-time paid employment. Pa check n lng po ano po specific n kelangan. Most people po ata ay pay slip or ITR prinoprovide. Good luck din po.

Hi @jun_als89. Just got my assessment from EA, came out positive and they recognized all of my relevant employment which is what I was hoping for. Here's a brief personal background and what I did.

    • Manufacturing Engineering and Management qualification
    • Employment for the past X years primarily in supply chain across several companies
    • I submitted my CDR which was aligned to industrial engineering (mali pala nabanggit ko sa taas), but was assessed as a production engineer
    • I got notified to submit additional documents from my first employment but was not able to provide specifically what they asked for. I opted to submit all of the documents that I have of my first employment, regardless if it wasn't in the list of qualified documents by EA.
    • Got a positive assessment as a Production Engineer, not Industrial Engineer, even if my background was in Supply Chain. I can only attribute this to how I drafted my CDR.

Overall, based from my experience, EA assesses your qualifications based on:
    1. Quality of your CDR - make sure you don't copy or use someone else's CDR. there are a lot of materials on the internet to help you guide with your CE creation
    2. Your qualifications - it should be at the very least, aligned with your target qualification, if in case your CDR does not cut it
    3. CPD - i didn't put a lot of info, only a handful of seminars i've attended
    4. documents - luckily, i was studious enough to keep all of my 2316s and I just downloaded my SSS contribution and employment background in the portal. COEs are easy enough to get, as still maintain contact with my past employers.

    I hope this helps!

Hello Sir boss, may tanong lang po ako. How long bago mag feedback senyo si EA? And how long po bago ikaw maregister positively by EA? Also, ano po yung CCL? And pano po kumuha ng exam na yun? Thank you po Sir sa Pagsagot

    Hello :)
Anyone here na registered mechanical engr. and working as a piping design engr na nag pa assess sa EA?

Did you submit CDR only, or CDR+RSEA?

(I am a piping design engr with 8+ yrs of EPC experience in one company)

04-AUG: Submitted my MSA CDR application (fast track)
23-AUG: Received a positive outcome letter

No contact with assessor. Your mileage may vary hehe.
I did not expect my application will be this fast.

My occupation and work details are quoted below.

Question po... Regarding CDR + RSEA, ano pong outcome yung ibibigay sa inyo... Medyo nalilito po ako dun sa relevant skilled employment assessment nila. Bale may CDR na po ako dati pa kaso for counting of overseas skilled employment ---> would CV be enough? Or need pa ba ng accompanying relevant skilled employment assessment nila? For the past EOI's, I only used CDR lang po and then for work experience, I attach lang palagi CV.

Question po regarding your outcome letter ano pong naka-indicate? Same letter then will qualify both as points for australian education and at the same time for counting of employment?

Degree qualification lang, hindi kasali yung assessment sa years of employment since CDR lang yung application ko. But you can add it (RSEA) to your application kung gusto mo na assessed din yung years of employment. It comes with additional fee.
