Pero napractice ko lng licence ko as a marine engineer (third engr position) 4 months lang pO ksi po ngmigrate napo ako dto s sydney.
Ngyn po ngwowork po ako sa Simons boiler. Gumgwa po kmi ng boiler, more on electrical components po ako, mechanical and electrical fitter po ako..


Pero ngyn po ngbabalak po ako mgpaAssess s EA..

Tanung ko lng po Meron po ba dito na dating marine engr s barko na nakapagassess sa EA?
Anu po ngng experience nyopo?

And one more thing po irerecognize po kya ng ANZSCO and EA ung profession ko? Kasi wala po sa list ung MARINE ENGR.

Okay naman po ung work ko ngeenjoy nmn po ako, actually gsto nila ako ilagay sa field then gwn nla ako field technician s mga boilers nla.. mgdrive around nsw tps i will do maintenance and repairs s mga boilers.

Tnung ko lng po kng worth it po ba na mgpamember and marecognize ng EA

hi @ShyShyShy , sorry na missed out ko tong message na to.
I read somewhere here sa forum na to that it is advisable, na kapag lapse na ng 2 years ung assessment, to request from Assessing body (sa case natin is EA) for updated letter from them. On how it is done, I'm not sure, you may want to drop them your query on this email I got from MSA brochure.

Hi guys. I just sent an email to Iscah requesting for my estimate of invitation for 189 given the following conditions:

Mechanical engineering – Occupation
65 – Points Score
September 2017 – EOI effect date

And here's what they replied:
Hi,

Thank you for your email.

It is unlikely you will receive an invite for the 189 visa. You will need at least 75 points to receive an invitation.

Please note that we change our 189 Estimate predictions change EACH time that DoHA change their selection policy. That can have a significant effect on your estimated invitation date.

Medyo napanghihinaan ako ng loob. Pero laban lang. Another route would be student visa. Or apply PR for Canada. Prayers and hopes are still high.

@cacophony maxed out na ba lahat ng possible options mo like english test? Kahit pro rata kasi yung field natin kaya kahit minimum score mo, mas mataas ang requirement para mainvite.

@gandara kahit ang minimum points eh 65 to lodge an EOI, may mga professions na nirerequire ng higher points to get an invite. Ex sa IE/Mech/Prod Eng, minimum eh 70 pointers ang binibigyan nila ng invites. Kung may opportunity ka na magdagdag ng points like superior English test or partner skills, push for it para magkaroon ng invite.

@Grifter @gibo43 No po e. Proficient lang level ko. Haven't considered retaking PTE exams yet. Breakdown is as follows:

age - 30
english - 10
education - 15
work - 10

Ang worry ko is mag-expire na yung RSEA ko and PTE ko this coming September 2019. 2 years lang po yung validity nun tama po ba?

@cacophony iretake nyo nalang po PTE kasi sure na maiinvite kayo after nun. Ako nga nagstudent nalang tsaka balak ko mag naati para lang mag 75 in 2 years. All the best.

@cacophony Baka gusto nyo rin iconsider yung 190 and state-sponsored 489. Mataas ang points na kailangan para sa family-sponsored 489.

@maguero @MLBS will consider it but I might enroll myself sa CEVAS to really nail it next time. Ask ko lang po, yung student visa nyo po DIY din po ba? Paano po kayo nakahanap ng university? Pumunta kayo mismo sa AU to apply?

Actually meron po ako 190 sa EOI on top of my 189. Tanong ko lang po, pwede pa po ba ako mag-add ng 489 (state sponsorship) sa EOI ko?

@cacophony I asked help from AMS pero I really know what to do. Gusto ko lang ng second opinion. Free services nila e so I thought why not. Di university kinuha ko kasi balak ko lang makuha yung +5 pts e so I just looked for a cheap college. My tuition fee is around 6k aud per year.

Better to make multiple EOIs rather than add multiple ones on a single EOI. I had 4 EOIs before (189,190, then dalawang 489)

@MLBS Thanks po. How do you create multiple EOIs po? If ever I create a new EOI for 190 na Victoria naman, what will the EOI date of effect?

Sir @cacophony I would suggest to retake PTE, don't loose hope. Your score are actually better than mine, before i got the superior score. It takes a lot of effort to improve but its not deadend for you. Based on personal experience po ito.

@cacophony create lang ng isa pang account for an EOI pero you can use the same email. Date of effect will be the day you lodged an EOI.

@cacophony hindi pa huli ang lahat..same points din ako sau 65points..marami akong nabasa at lahat puro negative if u have 65pints prang wala na chance so I made up my mind and kumiwalas ako sa agent ko...ito waiting na lng ako ng VISA grant for visa 190.

ito suggestion ko lng dahil mechanical engr ka..state of Queensland is best for you. ME din ako. ang medyo challenges lng is mag pa RPEQ ka peru kaya mo yan kasi straight forward lng sia. medyo magastos peru sulit..kasi pag ikaw eh RPEQ or registered profesional engineer sa queensland matic after 2 or 3 weeks log meron ka pre invite after 2 weeks ITA agad.. then it is a first come first serve basis.. therefore habang maaga pa mag paregister ka na sa BPEQ and RPEQ basahin mo meron sa EA how to do it simple..lahat andun..
remeber 1st of July2019 LOG agad ng EOI and chose QLD..

sound conflict but..I mange to do it alone..without crazy agent in Singapore hihii sorry to tell marami agent sa SG na ang alam lng is sabihan ka na mag superior sa english.. which is korek namn but.. if u have other option do it.

Thanks po sa encouraging words. Mas lalo akong na-excite to really push the boundaries. Ask ko lang po, if ever I go RPEQ route sa QLD, how many weeks lead time? And mailalagay ko po ba yun sa EOI 190 ko? How much points will be added?

I might also consider retaking the PTE since 70+ naman na ako sa lahat except for reading. I might even consider enrolling sa CEVAS to really get it superior next time. Do you have any other English courses to recommend?

Hello po,

Mag tatanong po ulit ako, natapos ko na ang CDR ko. Pero mag seek lang ako ng advise sa inyo.

CE 1 - about sa project handling, ako ang team leader dito.
CE 2 - member ako ng isang project and more on design and programming ang sinabi ko dito,
CE 2 - member ako ng isang project and more on design at programming din ako dito pero mas advance ang technology kesa sa CE 2

Pasok kaya ako sa production and plant pag ganto ang CE ko.
