May makakapag share po ba dito ng personal experience regarding my concern? Ang alam ko pa lang so far, eligible to work and live in NZ. Marami po bang additional paperworks? Ok lang po ba tong path na to? Madali lang din po ba eventually mag NZ citizen or reset lahat?
Thanks in advance.

When you arrive in NZ, on your arrival card, indicate that you are applying for an NZ resident visa. The visa is approved immediately. You just need to meet the requirements on good character ( which i guess they can just check online thru police checks).Prior to going to NZ, you also need to apply for an NZeTA (just recently implemented for Australian PRs entering NZ). You can apply for citizenship after living at least 5 years in NZ. You need to have been physically present in New Zealand for a certain amount of time during the last 5 years. The 5 years are counted backwards from the day you apply for citizenship.
You might not meet this requirement if you have been out of New Zealand for longer than 4 months in any 12-month period. This could be 1 long trip or many smaller trips.

@fgs is mostly correct... dagdagan ko lang, the NZ resident visa given to an Aus PR expires each time you leave NZ so if you need a visa label, you can apply for a variation of conditions para magkavisa label ka (at para hindi mag-expire ang RV each time you leave NZ)
@jepot what do you mean na reset lahat? If you're only coming to NZ now, then basically you're a new NZ resident then back to zero ka when waiting to be eligible for a new citizenship.
Any reason why you wouldn't want to stay in Aus and become an Aus citizen first before moving?
