Hello, anyone who got their acs result recently? Gaano na ba siya katagal on average these days?

I submitted mine on June 24, until now "With Assessor" pa din status. I know 8-10 weeks sabi nilang SLA pero anyone who recently got their result before that?

Hello po! Can someone please give any advice? :)
I am a Computer Engineering graduate from a local uni in Manila and I have been working as a Programmer/Dev for 3yrs and Software Engineer for 3yrs already (a total of 6yrs in the IT industry). I am planning of submitting an application 3 years from now under the Software Engineer skill. I was wondering if how many more years should I work as an SE so that I could have a better chance of having a successful assessment from ACS. Someone has mentioned that they deduct 5 yrs from the total work experience if you are a CoE grad (since the software dev work is not directly related to computer eng'g). I am also worried that there is a big chance that they will disregard my first work experience as a programmer because it doesn't fall under the Software Engineering category.

Would another 3 yrs be enough? (And also, I would be 31yrs old by then) :)

I don't agree because CoE ka e 5yrs agad deduction. Graduate din ako ng CoE at marked as Bachelor Degree by ACS, then my total work experienced deducted by 2yrs (lowest deduction) out of my 10yrs experince. Overall, suitable yung result with Bachelor Degree + 8yrs skilled work experience.

Hindi porket same ng course e dapat same din ang markings. Remember, each school may or may not have the same curriculum sa CoE. Another factor is, if your work experience is closely related to the Occupation Code na kiniclaim mo. Yung deduction dyan lang magbebase sa education at work experience. All of these are described sa ACS guidelines.

I see po. But what if yung scenario ko po na first experience ko is programmer naman. Will it count?

It will depends with your Job description and duties. If the title is Programmer but the duties are not closely related with the Occupation you are claiming, then expect a bigger deduction. Most of the time, companies are providing generic Employment Certificate without job description and duties, you may need to provide Stats Declaration (indicate the tenure, your role and duties) then ask your leads/supervisor/manager to sign it.

    Good afternoon,
Question lang, I’m drafting my employee reference letter, ang situation ko po kasi is that currently employed po ako with my company for 13 years but im not sure kung paano ko sya ippresent sa letter kasi nagtransfer ako with 2 different divisions. I’m seeing anzsco code that will fit my current position, which is the ict secuity specialist, but the problem is, nakaka 3 years palang ako unlike dun sa previous ko na almost 10 years, nakita kong close na code dito is ict qa engineer.

Do I have to put both experiences po ba sa employee reference letter or should i select 1 nlang? Baka lang kasi maconfuse si acs pag inassess nila application ko.

    Thank you po sa sasagot.

For my case, i just indicated kelan ako nagjoin at umalis sa company at kanino ako pinakahulung reporting then focus yung job description / duties dun sa last project ko which yun ang pipirmahan ng manager ko for stats dec purpose. For me, no need to describe yung journey mo sa company.

    Yup!
Galing sa SO ko yung format and nagbase din ako from anzcode.
Slight description nung work and naka bullet points yung duties ko
Plus start and end date nung work ko, address ng company, company header and my team lead.

    Hello po,

aside from BIR/ITR (my employment was 2014), pwde po ba iprovide yung info from SSS online portal? more than enough na po ba yun? screen shot ng employment history mo + yung mga contribution mo?

    Thanks po

Hindi po pwede ang screenshot and print to pdf from website po. Please see image - yan yung feedback ng case officer ko sa ACS. Nag send ako ng SSS and Pag-ibig from website print to pdf.

Hi. Did you submit screenshots lang for all, and walang payslips as payment evidence?

May nabasa kasi ako dito before na pwede daw kasi screenshot yung sa SSS as payment evidence. In my case though, I provided that, plus payslips.

Hello po, how was it? ano po naging result nung pinasa nyo po using screenshot ng SSS?

Hi @Panorama1 I just got my ACS result last Monday. Just a brief background, I got my 1st assessment back in 2019 with a positive result.
I submitted for re-assessment last May and used screen shot ng SSS and PagIbig as payment evidence plus ITR. Yung isang Work Exp ko SSS at PagIbig lang ginamit ko since wala na ako makuhang ITR and positive result naman. Lahat ng work exp ko is nacounted naman. Hope this helps.

Hello! Congrats on your positive assessment!! Quick question po, yung work exp mo na ginamitan mo ng SSS at pagibig, using Detailed COE po ba yan and wala po ba kayong payslip?

Thanks! yes SSS at PagIbig plus COE with compensation. Although yan yung unang experience ko (1st position), yung 2nd work experience (2nd position) same company lang din ng unang experience ko tapos SSS at PagIbig din with ITR naman. bali ganito sya

Company A - 1st position - SSS and PagIbig, COE with Compensation
Company A - 2nd position - SSS, PagIbig at ITR plus COE with Compensation

    Both assessed positive naman

Hi sir.

Maraming salamat po for this. Naka hinga na ko ng maluwag. Di ko po kase isinama yung isang naging work ko for 2 months lang at yung mga hindi related. Haha thanks

Hello all! I just want to confirm what I have read, if I graduated BS ECE from a section 3 institution will my PRC Electronics Engineer license upgrade me to section 1? And if say I finish my MsCS from a section 2 institution, will I be assessed as Bachelors ICT major? I have 11 years of software engineer experience. TIA!

Hello po, balak po namin ng fiance ko na kumuha ng visa. Pareho kaming IT. Ako software developer at siya at Business Analyst/Project Manager. Ako po ang primary application. Recommended po ba na magpa assess din sa ACS ung partner ko for the additional points? Worth it po ang time na macoconsume?
