Hello sis, the day before sis nag call sila to ask for additional documents that needed to be passed within the day but not for an interview. The day after that, na grant visa ko.

Defacto Partners on 189,190 and 491 applications
DHA have confirmed that
A points test applicant in a defacto relationship of
less than 12 months at time of visa lodgement can
still claim to be single as long as they have not
registered the relationship. Hence claim 10 points.
Later if the defacto relationship then accumulates
to 12 months during visa processing, the 10 single
points can still be claimed
If you want to add a defacto partner on to a points
test application during visa processing as 12
months has then accumulated since initial visa
lodgement, you can do so. And still claim 10 single
points

Hello po mam @RheaMARN1171933 ask ko lang po sana about this statement from Immigration Programs Division if you have heard of this, if I will have an invitation for 189, would I be able to add a de facto partner on the visa application (lived together for less than 12 mos) and still claim 10 single points? Because I saw in DHA sa Relationship evidence, needed na atleast 12 mos living together. Thank you

I plan to travel to the PH to marry a Filipina in PH from online dating then apply for 100-309 visa to bring her home to live with me and start a family.
1) How long do I have to visit Philippines to meet her family and get married? 2 weeks, 4 weeks or longer?
2) How long do I have to be contacting her online? Is there anything I have to include in the messages to tick boxes?
3) Also I have no shared financial, household because we live in separate countries. Is this a problem?
4) I can get social statements and pictures with her family and friends in PH at the wedding in particular. Statement from my family members acknowledging the wedding is that enough?
5) I can get commitment statements from myself and my wife and statements that other people have heard that we have made a commitment and have a genuine commitment to the exclusion of all others. Is that enough?
6) Is it possible to get my wife living here instead of spending our honeymoon separate for a few months while the visa processes.
7) Maybe a work visa for the purpose of living with my wife?
I will read through this thread, thank you if you can help me.
Department of Home Affairs is terrible with their lack of communication to answer questions.

marrying her just ticks one box. applying for 309/100 visa means you have to have an established and solid, backed by evidences "four pillars" of a relationship

https://www.australiavisa.com/immigration-news/4-main-aspects-of-the-relationship/
too many variables to answer that question

over a year of contact would be advisable. but i have seen people with less than that get the partner visa.
in my experience, start documenting everything. fb messages, calls&texts (you can ask this from telstra or any other telecom), any other messaging platforms (skype, viber, whatsapp, teams, etc.)
my personal preferences are calling and fb messages, for me, it's the easiest to collate and put in the application. my wife even did an intricate excel spreadsheet showing my call history (telstra), durations, date and time stamp, and closest cell tower ping (location) which ties in to our statutory declaration. fb messages we just collated selected chats (a few per year from 2012-2019) into a massive pdf file

yes, that's a hole in your application. if you were sending her money for household expenses, schooling, food that would be great.
that should be a very big help. not enough though
that's one part of it. not enough though
possible but very hard to execute

in the Philippines? or here in Australia?
yup, i concur. those guys are Muppets. called 3 times for one question got 3 totally different answers. wait till you get acquainted with the red tape extraordinaire that is the Philippine government bureaucracy. they make the DHA people look like the Singapore Government hahahah. Good luck and have LOTS OF PATIENCE

Is it realistic to travel to the Philippines, get married, live together with my wife and collect evidence for a temporary partner visa waiting to return home to Australia with my wife?
That way I would not have to live separately from my wife and I should be able to collect convincing evidence for a visa.
I figure I would need to live there for 1-3 years waiting for visa processing before I can return home with my wife. Not sounding very realistic now that I think about it.
Might as well ask though.

Hi po. Thanks in advance sa help. Nalodge po ang 309 visa on November 2021. Last week nakareceive kami ng S56 request of Further information. They’re asking for CENOMAR and AFP (police check). Naprovide na po both and uploaded na po sa immiaccount.
Question: Sa nakaexperience po ng S56 Request for further info. How long it will take the decision after macomply ang request?
