NO downpayment for a new car! Madali nga, sa totoo lang. Lalo ngayon they are clearing 2012 stocks.

@lock_code2004: parang free po ang initial 12 month registration yata on buying a car, pero you have to pay for the Monthy insurance. Sa pagkakaintindi ko ha. Correct me guys if I'm wrong. Anyway, the dealer lets you decide what you want based on your needs. Posible po to drive away with no downpayment or $1000 or kahit ano. Kayo po bahala. :)

Paubos na rin, they are clearing out kaya madami na concession. 2013 stocks are available na din kasi. Low monthly rates, no downpayment etc. No need money din to open bank account. Pinapadali nila buhay mo hehe!

Tapos some filipinos here classify their money remittances to their family as 'donation' and use that as claimable deduction. Mautak, pag na-audit, better think of a good excuse :)

You submit your return every after June of each year... Kumbaga, you report your income; dito malalaman if kulang ba binayad mo or may sobra - hence more often than not, may kaunting adjustment...

I don't have a house but I reckon I can answer your question:

This really depends on the ff:

    (1) Your loan amount
    (2) Your interest
    (3) Your tenure of loan

From what I gather, it is generally heavier on the pocket to service your mortgage than to rent a house. BUT, you are building equity naman dito sa bahay unless renting wherein it will all be expense.

    Hope this helps!!

You seem to know a lot about all these financial jargons - tax offset, mortgage offset, etc so it just makes me wonder why you were asking about mortgage payment computation... :)

OT advertisement Lang.

Learning with you guys...kahit matagal nko ditto.he he he..natututo kong mag tipid. I salute you guys on how you handle things here...God Bless

Actually you brought up a good way of saving in Australia --which is to be diligent with your ITR....taon taon may nilalabas ang Australian government na pauso tapos pag ginawa mo yun, may corresponding tax breaks / offsets...Last financial year, it had something to do with disability insurances, dental care and green technology hehe :)
