Australia is going for green energy...sinimulan nila sa carbon tax (with little success)...so para ma-engganyo mga tao na suportahan ang green energy, nag-ggrant sila ng tax deductions kung gagamit ka ng green tech hehe...sa ngayon mahal ang pagsetup ng ganun pero malaki matitipid mo in the long run kung itutuloy nang matagal ng Australian government yung incentive na ito

@stolich18, mga kagamitan sa bahay na gumagamit ng renewable resources tulad ng solar panels hehe...magastos siya pero malaki matitipid mo sa katagalan.

That's something we need to get used to I guess...kasi sa mga kultura tulad ng sa Australia, when they say budget, kasama dun ang tax planning...Dito satin kasi umaasa na lang tayo sa Payroll manager para dun sa computation hehe

additional info..pag bibili kayo ng washing machine, dapat 4 star water efficient, para may marerefund kng 200AUD s local govt..i dont know if applicable s lahat ng town..check nyo n lng s local council nyo

regarding solar panels - yung tinuluyan namin sa sydney meron daw mga ganyan sa bahay..

ang sabi nila.. pag mas konti ang consumption mo kesa sa nagenerate na power ng mga solar panels sa bahay mo, parang pwede mo i-benta ung extra power na hindi mo nagamit, pabalik sa local power/electric companies..

naka-save kana.. kumita ka pa..

Here`s our budget: (forthnightly ang sahod):
House rent: 285 per week
Car: 103 per week
Car insurance: 15 per week
School: 80 per week (2kids)
Gasoline: 30 per week
Medibank insurance: 65 per week
Internet and home phone: 20 per week
Food: 200 per week +
Mobile phones: 20 per week (2mobiles)
Baon school and office: pack lunch
Electricity: di pa alam ang consumption currently allocating 50 forthnight, quarterly daw.
Superannuation at 12%
Savings: hardly nag uumpisa pa lang.

File family assistance di pa alam kung maapprove.
Others pala:
Our place usually taxi ang transport, bus malaki ang time gap and depende sa location mo, bike will be a big help.
Ang laki ng expesnses namin at first nung wala pang car.
If learning how to drive: 60 -65 per session maximize utilisihg ur international license to get familiarise sa road and rules..then convert ur license to oz license.
U have to invest buying appliances either brand new or from garage sale..
Food u need to stock mahirap pala pagbumabagyo dito na cucut ang roads ng supply.

May nakalimutan pa ba ako. :-)

oo nga po mahal nga.. un fiancee ko nagpalagay nyan nakakuha na siya ng discount from the goverment pero inabot ng mga $9000+

Back read ka lang boss @Hunter_08 - may mga nagbigay naman na budget for single. it is itemized naman accordingly, deduct mo nalang the stuffs which you may not need whilst still starting out.

Rent 500 per week.. 2 bedroom in sydney
Food 500 a month gocery for a family of 3
Transo 40 a month.. We're wlking distance to everything yung 40 is we go somewhere else outside our suburb
Mobile 30 a month... My sister is on a plan so she calls us. We use skypes or landline to call each other.
Internet with landline 80 per month with tpg

groceries= 350/wk (with two kiddos)
rent= 400/wk (4beds/2baths/2car spaces)
electricity=180/mo (mas mataas sa summer/winter)
water=40/mo
fuel=180/mo (tsikot= mitsubishi magna 3.6Li, mas maliit mas matipid :P )
internet=100/mo (telstra 200GB plan, mahilig magdownload ng movies :-?? )
mobile= 60/mo plan (for me), 100/mo plan (for wife :-L )
car rego=129/mo
family health insurance= 300/mo

total= 3989

ung kapitbahay ko may dagdag pang beer tsaka yosi=500/mo [-X

I would like also to share our weekly budget.. We're here in WA, remote area.. 4 adults in the house, all of us working full time.

House rent 2 BR = $320/week 70% paid by my company ($96 na lg bnabayaran namin)
share on parent's house rent = $300/week ($75 each kmi)
Grocery = $200/week
Internet = $80/month
phone = $60/month each yan.
Fuel = $80/fortnight
Electricity = $60/month
mum's allowance = $100/week
Bunso's allowance = $50/week

So far, yan pa lg ang mga binabayaran namin..

May nakalimutan pa ba ako. :-)

If you want to buy appliances na brand new meron naman sa 2nd's world. Unused siya pero puro may factory defect sila like dents and scratches. Hirap bumili from garage sale kasi paano mo sila dadalhin sa bahay mo? At least pwede ka magbayad ng 50-60aud tapos sila na bahala mag setup sa bahay niyo. Sulit lang yun 50-60aud if at least 500 aud ang nagastos mo sa mga gamit mo.

Kami naman eh almost 8 years na dito kaya madami ng utang. Eto weekly expenses/outlay namin para me idea kayo pag me mortgage na (me mga property investments kami kaya 3 mortgage):

Petrol, car insurance, transpo: 200
Tuition for 1 child in private school: around 50
Utilities: around 150
Beer: 60
Building insurance: 30
Miscellaneous: 100
