Nag plaplano akong mag SV. Considering ang duration, pathway to PR, scholarship, etc. Kung maaari sana sa CQU QL-rockhampton.

    Salamat po!

Hi po. Asking po sana ng any idea and advise for nurse pathway sa Cairns Australia. I'm a company nurse dito po sa PH. Graduate po ako 2010 pa. Pwed pa din po ba mag apply for conversion or need na po ba mag bachelor? May nakita po ko CQU QL - Rockhampton pero 3 years for Bachelor. Thank you in advance po. God Bless

Hello. Same situation here. My niece is currently on her second year in nursing in the PH. I want to know kung mas maigi na mag-take ng more units sa Pilipinas (scholar kasi) o ituloy na dito ang Studies.

Rockhampton is pretty far from Cairns (12-hour drive). I know there's James Cook University right in Cairns, and I think there's a bachelor degree in nursing there so just check out their website.

The minimum English proficiency requirement may vary depending on the course/program, so you'll have to look at the eligibility requirement for the specific course you're after. If they require IELTS 7 overall, across all categories, then you'll need to meet that. If the uni allows you to prove your proficiency through TOEFL or PTE, maybe try one of those. Universities set those requirements and those are usually non-negotiable, as there will be lots of reading and assessments.

GTE if I intend to avail Nursing conversion program to practice my profession in Australia after completing the course?
:"GTE is not intended to exclude students who, after studying in Australia, develop skills Australia needs and who then go on to apply for permanent residence.".
Your answers will be a big help po.thankyou ☺️

    1. Do the CONVERSION COURSE.
This may take a year or 2 depending on the uni you'll be enrolling in.

You'll need an English Test, whatever pathway you choose. If it's a voluntary work, you have to provide an evidence and AHPRA will have to assess your experience.

Ano po process ng conversion course?

San po kayo nag take ng English Test?

    For AHPRA you'll need:

    1. Important accreditation requirement for internationally qualified nurses and midwives (will be done by your Uni in Au)

Is this something that will be done by Uni in Au 'after' the bridging program?

    hello all,

need advice.. my sister wants to come here in Austraia as SV enrolling in certificate of aged care since my recent news na my pathway na ang age care dito sa aus.

    disclaimer:
she applied for SV 500 last March 2020 , AGe Care and she was refused a visa so medyo doubtful kami if pwede ba xa mag apply ulit. ang reason ng refusal is wala daw xa experience sa AGe care... meron din ibang agents nag suggest na mas high chances daw if higher education ang itake niya like Nursing..

need advice and insights po 🙏🏻🙏🏻
    TIA

Hello kabayan! Naglodge ako ng EOI189 at 190 RN QLD last May, then not knowing na dapat gagawa ng EOI for 190 nung September as per migration.qld.gov.au.

I'm assuming gusto nya mag-work as a nurse dito sa Au, then she'll need to get her nursing license here first. Before, you will need to do a bridging program (12 weeks) pero pinalitan na nila ngayon. If I remember correctly clinical exam na ata yung one option (OSCA) or you get your license through Uni.

example po ako ung primary applicant, PR granted na ako, at the same time PR granted din sya, kailangan nya ba mag pa assessment din at dumaan sa registration ng AHPRA, para makapag work sa Australia ?

A PR visa means you can live and work here permanently. It doesn't automatically grant you registration for regulated professions. So kailangan nya pa rin i-follow yung steps to become an RN here.
