@cheng1003 Register sa AHPRA then apply for skills assessment sa ANMAC. After ng Skills assessment, pwede ka ng apply for EOI then wait to be invited. Keep in mind din kung kelan magexpire visa mo at ano plan mo just in case di mo matapos lahat to before your visa expires.

Afaik, with regard to AHPRA registration for conversion course ay parang nag take din lang ng regular nursing course... not that sure though pero in most cases, the school will forward your credentials to AHPRA and you can process the application via online...

    https://www.nursingmidwiferyboard.gov.au/Registration-and-Endorsement/Forms.aspx
    Online applications
Online applications for registration as a nurse and/or midwife are available to:

Kung may mga hihingin man na docs, in most cases, yun na rin yung mga dati mong na-submit... again not sure kse di man po ako dumaan ng nursing conversion course.

    For ANMAC:
    https://www.anmac.org.au/skilled-migration-services/modified-skills-assessment

Collect and scan copies of the following original supporting documents (requirements for scanned copies):

    • proof of identity
      • bio-statistical page(s) of passport
      • change of name documents (marriage certificate, decree nisi, deed poll)
      • an official passport-sized photograph taken in the last 6 months
    • Graduation certificate and transcript. Your transcript must include commencement and completion dates.
    • Professional references (58 KB) to support your work as a paid nurse or midwife.
    • Agent Declaration Form (21 KB), if you have nominated an agent to act on your behalf.
This information is provided in a checklist (39 KB)

    Hi
I need advice po. I'm already a permanent resident here in Australia thru Spouse visa. Naging busy sa moving around and having a baby ngayon lang ako maka focus on converting my nursing registration. I got here December 2015, I was clinical instructor in Philippines before I got here then worked in aged care from 2016 til now.

Any advice kung ituloy ko pa ba mag pa assess?

Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance...

I am not sure if your experience in aged care can be considered for the 450 hour recency of practice requirement and from that hindi ka rin mabigyan ng LOE for OBA.
Of course, AHPRA would be the best source of answer to your question... andito ka na rin lang naman, it won't hurt to give them a call.

@joyjen Hi, yung experience in Aged Care will not be counted.

Hi. Syempre wala pang invite and mababa na yun 75 points for NSW 190. Wala po ako idea paano ko palalawakin yun chance ko mag work sa ibang state. At the moment, working ako as Aged Care RN. (Ttry ko ulit mag take soon next month).

Naisip namin ngayon, mag student visa ulit pero si partner naman main applicant to buy some time.

So maging 85 points. May pag asa na kaya ma invite yan sa NSW 190?

Or wag na po ba ako umasa na mainvite sa Sydney and lipat na talaga ng ibang state? Like mag 491? If ever, anong state po kaya? Kasi sa VIC nabasa ko minimum 2 years ang work experience. Eh 1.5 years palang po ako as Aged Care RN. Thank you sa mga sasagot! God bless.

Have you tried asking your employer for sponsorship? Of course, at first 482 might be offered but since you've been with them for a while a 186 Direct Entry may be possible... still a lot better than going back into student visa.

Cost and locations for the MCQ exam
The MCQ exam is computer-based and will be delivered at test centres in most countries. There will be separate exams for IQNMs seeking registration as a registered nurse, enrolled nurse or midwife:

Registered nurses will sit the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN). The National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NCSBN) develops and administers the NCLEX-RN through Pearson VUE test centres.
Midwives will sit an MCQ exam managed by the NMBA, which will be delivered through Aspeq test centres.
Information for on the enrolled nurse MCQ exam will be published soon.
Note: IQNMs must be authorized by Ahpra to sit the MCQ exams.

Fees for the MCQ exams are set by the providers and paid directly to them. At the time of publishing, the following fees apply:

For registered nurses, the NCLEX-RN registration fee is $200 USD, plus an additional international scheduling fee of $150 USD ($350 USD in total).
For midwives, the fee is $165 NZD, plus a possible fee for overseas venues.
Enrolled nurse exam fees will be published soon.
Cost and locations for the OSCE
IQNMs who have been referred to the OBA must pass the MCQ exam before they can attempt the OSCE.

The OSCE is managed by Ahpra and will be delivered at Adelaide Health Simulation in Adelaide, South Australia.

The fee for sitting the OSCE is $4,000 AUD. The OSCE fee replaces previous bridging program fees from private providers. This fee pays for Ahpra’s costs in running and maintaining the OSCE. Ahpra and the NMBA are funded only by fees, which must cover all costs of assessing IQNMs for registration in Australia.

Good day po! Need ko po ng advise, ma expired po yung student visa ko this November 2020, plano ko po maayos yung mga requirements ko sa AHPRA for OBA this year, pero I also consider din po na mag conversion program sa 2021 if mag fail man ako sa OBA (first time taker so just in case mahirap talaga yung oba and i will run out of time but hopefully not 🙏🏼 ). Ask ko lang po ano pong visa ang kukunin ko to take conversion program? same lang din po ba ng student visa? Maraming salamat po sa mag reresponse ! :)

Conversion program which can take 1 year or more will require a Student Visa.

@cucci Thank you so much po sa response! may alam po ba kayo na schools na mag oopen ng mid this year? wala po kasi akong any idea about conversion program, nag hahanap and nag a-ask lang din po ako ng info dito sa forum. kahit po anong pong links about conversion program for nurses. thank you po ulit sa magrereply :)

which state po kau? get in touch with AECC global- they assist with conversion courses. my sis was assisted by them last year (melbourne office) , they dont charge anything (pay for exact tuition to the school and visa to immi services only - no single $ is wired to the agency). very quick in responses and service. My sister enrolled in Deakin (ending conversion this Sep). La trobe was also an option during that time.
This is the link - if ur in AU call them and schedule for appointment.

Meron din sila office sa Pinas. Goodluck! https://www.aeccglobal.com.au/contact-us/

Nakita ko po sa Immi site. At least 2 years experience sa nominated occupation. 1 1/2 yr palang po ako RN. In case na mag yes ang employer ko, kaya po ba DIY i lodge yun?

@goku_son Yes po... kayang DIY, yung visa application part... yung nomination syempre si employer gagawa.

Yung experience requirement, afaik, counted ang experience mo outside Au.
