Biometrics Collection - No Slots within 14 day period

Hello po, we lodged an application under the Visitor Subclass (Tourist) visa, and we were required to have biometrics collected. But then, hindi po pasok sa 14-day period yung next na available slot. Ano pong ginawa niyo to get past this?

Also, yung 14 days po ba ay calendar days or working days?

Thank you!

@pelletgoddess Hello! No results on my Tourist Visa application just yet. But same case ako, lagpas sa 14-day period. What I did was compose a letter of explanation. I stated in detail why I can't accomplish my biometrics within the 14 days, and my resolution (which was to book the next earliest date). Basically, sinabi ko lang na VFS has limited slots, and yung earliest available date nila ay ganito, ganyan. Then I included screenshots of the VFS website—yung first page kung saan makikita yung notice na longer waiting times sa VFS, yung calendar showing yung next available date.

Then I attached the document sa Immi, along with other documents. Not sure if this is the right or best way, eto lang yung nakita kong advice sa biometrics letter (nakalagay dun na if any applicant is unable to provide biometrics, provide a letter explaining circumstances).

Hope anyone na same case at na-grant can comment din.

Hello! Thank you! This is what we plan to do but I have yet to see anyone who got approved using this method. May I know when you lodged your application, and when you submitted your biometrics?

Ung friend ko din late ang biometrics nya then ganon ginawa nya, 3 days after nya magpa biometrics may visa grant na sya. Nasa aus na po sya. Skilled migrant visa nya sakin student visa.
