Naglodge ako ng May 2020. Completed medical exam ng December 2020. Hopefully mareceive natin yung grants soon, since processing naman daw sila ng new & pending applications.

Hello po, I graduated from UPD with a civil engineering degree but is currently working in the IT industry. Curious lang po ako if okay lang ba mag-apply for 476 visa even though hindi ko na pinapractice yung degree ko? Can I work in the IT field in Au with 476 visa? Salamat po sa sasagot.

Yes, as long as you have graduated in the last 2 years when you lodge your application.
Yung work experience mo doesn't matter.
Can I work in the IT field in Au with 476 visa?
Short answer is yes. You can work sa kahit anong field.
Obviously depende sa company na aapplyan mo kung okay sakanila ang qualifications at visa mo.
I would suggest consider mo rin yung long term plans mo when choosing a job. Are you planning to apply for a PR visa? If so, then it's good to plan ahead, research, and think about kung CE or IT ba ang mas madaling makakuha ng PR.
Good luck!

@iammaxwell1989 Thank you for your reply po. My current job is leaning towards becoming a salesforce developer. I heard salesforce is a good career in Au. But when it comes to PR points as a software engineer, hindi ko magagamit yung degree ko as CE.

Hello! New member lang po. I’m wondering if anyone here has the experience of adding a partner to a 476 visa while onshore? I know someone who has done it before, but would like to hear about other’s experiences as well. Parang bumilis kasi yung ibang grants ng 476 visa this year but this is only based on some people I know so I’m considering adding my partner. I’m already onshore.
We’ve lived together for around 9 months right before I came here to Australia and we’ve been together for years na rin. We don’t have documents such as lease agreement, joint bank accounts, etc. We do have bank transfers though, common friends, travel, etc. I think same case sa kakilala ko, but I’m kinda worried pa rin.
Hoping to hear other’s experiences 🥺 thank youu

Hello guys! Just want to ask lang po for a friend, if may naka-experience na po ba dito na beyond na ng 28 days ung pagsubmit ng mga requested docs for initial assessment (re-medical, s56 request, and NBI clearance)? Huhu.
Tumawag na po sa IMMI about dito and they said na need lng magbigay ng cover letter as to why late ung submission. May I know po if what are the valid reasons for this, pero technically, naoverlook lang po sa email ung letter huhu

hi. seeking advice. i got my visa 476 grant last may 2023. i applied in may 2021. in all of my documents i claimed that i am single.
however, i am now in a serious relationship (started after the grant). how should i approach informing immi po na we're a de facto couple? pwede po ba ako magrelationship change from single to de facto after the grant but before first entry?

Hi everyone, for those who have already got their 476 visa, congratulations! Sa mga PR na ngayon after ng visa 476, paano po ninyo ginawa yung CDR? Meron po ba dito na undergraduate research/projects/thesis lang ang ginamit sa EA skills assessment?
