  Hi All. Question po. For migration purposes, 1 year ba ang validity ng Police Clearance Certificate from the Date of issue? Sa Qatar kasi 6 months lang valid.

  For Ex-ofw. Ano mag-govern, ung validity stated sa PCC (6 months from issue date) or ung 1 year as stated dito sa immi?

  hi! i was working in Qatar before. and yep, nung kinuha ko ung Police Check, 6 months lang talaga magpe-prevail.

  I wanted to upload na nga po lahat ng kailangan at nasakin naman ang docs. Pero tinanong ko muna yung agent namin. As per our agent's admin:

  "Mark isn't claiming any points for his professional experience abroad. Don't need to upload anything under "overseas employment experience" as a result."

  Evidence of overseas work kasi yung nasa required. Naguluhan ako dahil required sya, bakit hindi ipoprovide. Also, hindi bat ang points ay for EOI lang? At yung overseas work ay yung occupation na pinaassess sa vetassess, I was thinking na it's related sa skills assessment not sa points claimed.

  Ano pong tingin nyo?

  Background ng agent namin: hindi na responsive after i-lodge yung application. When we recieved s56 at nagkaron ng problema obtaining the docs, hindi man lang kami tinulungan to contact the CO.

  Regarding sa Employment Verification Letter, during visa processing nyo po ba, cinontact parin ng DHA or any officer yung previous employers nyo to verify the job employment?

  Meron din po ba dito na nagpasa ng additional employment experience na hindi nila originally sinama sa assessment? As in additional lang. If yes, cinontact po ba sila ng DHA for verification?

  i think this one is an internal measure na ng DHA kung mag reach out man sila sa ex or current employer mo. there's no mention that they will do, but as long as all information provided are correct, everything will be fine kahit pa mag reach out sila for verification.

  yep - after lodging my EOI, I moved to another company. so when I was invited for the visa application, what I did was attach a cover letter mentioning the change on my work details, but reiterating that no additional points claimed for this new job/no changes in points will result from this job. I also attached the updated employment reference letters. I read somewhere that changes in information or details are fine as long as there wouldn't be any critical effect in the previously claimed points.

  Yep - NBI Clearance ung required nila.

  In terms of employment documents - I provided employment certificates which detailed scope of my roles and responsibilities and remuneration details. I also submitted payslips for my most recent employers, kasi ung isa sa previous employers ko, nilagay na lang dun sa employment certificate ung pay details ko. bank statement - not sure kung required ba to, but maybe it will help if you will also provide. if you can also secure BIR form 2316, that will also be a big help (I didn't provide this as I am not working in PH for the longest time, but if you are - get this as this is a good doc)

  from my submission to before visa grant phase - received lang ang status ng visa application ko. so no need to worry about that

  Registered MARN ba yung agent mo? I think karapatan mo rin magask sa kanila kung bakit ganito in a nice way. Pwede mo sila ifollow-up, magrereply yun in a nice way. Marami rin siguro sila inaasikaso kaya ganun.

  hi po, for visa 189 visa application, tama po ba na tick yes sa previous visa grant? kasi nag tourist visa 600 lang po ako dati sa Australia year 2014.

  If you want to apply for 190, you have to withdraw your 491 before it will be granted. Then you will have to start the process and wait for 190 invite. Risky at magasto na move to but if you want to get a PR ASAP, you have to do this.
  To tell you the truth, wala masyadong pinagkaiba ang 491 visa sa PR. You will be eligible for medicare just thesame. Main difference lang is you have to stay on regional area on 491 visa. For immigration purposes, regional area is like 99% of the total land area of Australia. Its all areas except Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. So if you want to live in big cities you can still live in Perth, Newcastle, Adelaide, Hobart, Wollongong etc. I don't really see the point in withdrawing your 491 to try your luck on 190.
  I am on 491 btw living in the beautiful regional town of Port Macquarie.

  You dont have to withdraw your 491 lodgment (waiting for visa grant ka na) if you want to apply for a 190. You can apply for a 190 even if meron ka pending na 491 lodgment. If na invite ka sa 190 while pending pa grant ng 491 mo, you can lodge a 190 but gastos ka ulit.

  As long as no visa is granted, unli apply ka.

  Agree with this. Same situation po ako. Nainvite ako ng 489 SA, 3years ago around August. We lodge mga September 2019 (489). Then October 2019 nainvite kami sa 190 NSW. Pinag isipan naminh mabuti kasi malaking pera ung 7000Aud. But on the plus side, PR to so worth it kung magagrant. So after lodging visa190 on November 2019, withnithdraw namin 489 around Dec2019.

  Masakit lang sa bulsa... Hahha pero PR na kasi so hndi na kami nag dalawang isip e. Pag tinuloy namin 489, we need to work and stay 2years bago makaaply ng PR visa. Madaming nangyayari within 2years.

  Kelan po papasok ung kahalagahan nung scoring system, sa EOI step ba ? nsa middle east ako, as lab technician, ngayon ang inaayos ko na is ung application ko para sa AIMS licensure exam para sa March. ang required kasi na minimum working experience para makuha ung 15 points is 8 years, akala ko 8 years na ako, kaso nung ng incquire ako sa company, mg start ung experience ko kung kelan na issued ung work permit ko which is NOV 2014.

  Wala pa naman problema di ba, pasok pa din, wla pa nmn ako sa EOI step ?

  okay yan boss. kaso sana di mo wnithdraw 491 para 2 chances of winning ka. you could have waited for either one of them to be granted before withdrawing the other one. that's what happened to me. 491 sa SA, 190 NSW, both lodged and waiting for grant. nung na-grant yung isa, withdraw agad yung kabila.

  technically, pag na-invite ka na thats when you prove your claims. you can lodge an EOI now claiming 8 years even though less than that, medyo risky nga lang kasi pag na-invite ka bukas, you can't prove na 8yrs ka.

  points matter when you're actually invited to apply. that's when you prove your claim by submitting docs.

  To tell you the truth, wala masyadong pinagkaiba ang 491 visa sa PR. You will be eligible for medicare just thesame. Main difference lang is you have to stay on regional area on 491 visa. For immigration purposes, regional area is like 99% of the total land area of Australia. Its all areas except Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. So if you want to live in big cities you can still live in Perth, Newcastle, Adelaide, Hobart, Wollongong etc. I don't really see the point in withdrawing your 491 to try your luck on 190.
  I am on 491 btw living in the beautiful regional town of Port Macquarie.

  You dont have to withdraw your 491 lodgment (waiting for visa grant ka na) if you want to apply for a 190. You can apply for a 190 even if meron ka pending na 491 lodgment. If na invite ka sa 190 while pending pa grant ng 491 mo, you can lodge a 190 but gastos ka ulit.

  Agree with this. Same situation po ako. Nainvite ako ng 489 SA, 3years ago around August. We lodge mga September 2019 (489). Then October 2019 nainvite kami sa 190 NSW. Pinag isipan naminh mabuti kasi malaking pera ung 7000Aud. But on the plus side, PR to so worth it kung magagrant. So after lodging visa190 on November 2019, withnithdraw namin 489 around Dec2019.

  okay yan boss. kaso sana di mo wnithdraw 491 para 2 chances of winning ka. you could have waited for either one of them to be granted before withdrawing the other one. that's what happened to me. 491 sa SA, 190 NSW, both lodged and waiting for grant. nung na-grant yung isa, withdraw agad yung kabila.

  i'm not a migration agent but I got advise from good authority/agent that it's okay. you don't have to withdraw any application if meron ka dalawa pending. if you have a 491 and 190 visa application waiting for grant, no issues dapat. if ma-grant either one of the two, you should withdraw the other. take what you can get rather than wait for the visa type you want
