Hello, I'm planning for Feb intake next year in RMIT. Will be getting my PTE this July.

Sa ACU po ako. Base sa probationary offer ko, dapat July 2022 ako magsstart, kaso dahil sa tagal ng process for student visa ngayon, nag decide kami na sa 2023 nalang. Nag ask pa ko sa school if need nila ulit iassess ung GTE ko for next school year.

Deakin Uni in melby, kung gusto mo regional Flinders or UniSA. Sikat sila sa nursing. sa sydney naman if I'm not mistaken, Western Sydney University. Oks din daw ACU at cheaper sila pero mabilis maubos slot.

A friend went to study at University of Sunshine Coast, which is in a regional area in QLD. I haven't really asked my friend about her experience, but she was able to find a job naman after grad and eventually got her PR.

hello. if incase nasa Australia na po under student visa den after finishing the study is mag PR na, does it require na yng age is until 44 y.o at the time ng PR application? or exempted na yng age limit dahil nasa Australia ka na?

If I'm not mistaken, points based parin ang invite for Australia even if onshore ka. Pero if nainvite ka, yung age mo at the invitation yung pagbabasehan nila afaik.

Hi, I'm a licensed civil engineer with 3.5 yrs of experience as Structural Engineer planning to lodge a student visa application soon. My agent has proposed different course options related to Civil Engineering Draftsperson (CED) which has better PR prospects over a Diploma + Adv. Diploma course on Civil and Structural Engineering (D+ADCSE) which I preferred originally. Budget wise, cheaper si CED 10-15k AUD/yr over D+ADCSE which costs 50k AUD/yr roughly.
But once I finished taking up D+ADCSE, I would be ineligible to apply for a temp. graduate visa (TGV) since Structural Engineer is my nominated occupation. Bachelor's/Master's degree holders are permissible in this case.
On the other hand, kapag CED ang itake ko, all good for TGV but with Civil Engineer or Civil Engineering Draftsperson as my nominated occupation.
May kakilala/ kaibigan ba kayong licensed engineer din na nagtake ng advanced diploma on any eng'g drafting course relative to his track?
Sana po may sumagot, salamat po.

Nag hire ba kayo ng Agency para makapag enrol? Or may Uni na di na nag rerequire ng agency?

Education agents can help you with the application to the uni, or you can apply by yourself (but you need to pay application fee).
As for the enrolment itself (like selecting which units to take for the semester), you will have to do that yourself on the uni's student portal.

Cost of living in Melbourne is way higher than Adelaide. Something to consider. And I think may pathway for PR sa South Australia if graduate ka dun. Im just not sure kung may limitation due to age.

Hello everyone! I am asking on behalf of my sister and brother-in-law. Gusto po nila malaman kung may advantage na mag apply ng student visa while on shore as tourist or the same lang kung mag apply lang from Pinas. Also, alam nyo po ba kung magkano ang tution or levy ng anak nila na mag primary school kasama nila either in NSW or VIC. Thank you.

There is no assurance that student visa will be granted when they apply onshore, or that processing time will be any faster. Coming to Australia on a tourist visa may be good if they're scouting for universities/institutions to apply for, but there's no telling right now how long the visa processing will take (it's a case-to-case basis)---it can be a few weeks or several months. My advice is to apply from pinas nalang, and just save the expense of traveling here on a tourist visa.
Dependants of student visa holders have to pay the international student rate, as they are not Aussie citizens or PR. They can check the approximate cost here:

It may be possible to change your visa from student to temporary work visa (sponsored), the hard part really is to find a company willing to sponsor you. The 485 visa is only for those who successfully completed a degree/qualification in Australia, so if you don't finish your studies you won't be eligible for it.
