And ask ko din po if mag Pa assess muna po ba ako before kumuha ng Agency or after ko na po ma assess? Thank you

You can try to gauge if kaya ko ba sya asikasuhin factoring the time and resources na you have. Since majority nman ng collecting ng requirements is ikaw pa dn nman. Ang magging role nman ni agent mo at this stage is to check your documents ensure na complete and tama. Then sya na dn mgpapasa kay EA for you. But this may depend kung ano agreement nyo but most likely it will be on this line of scope.

On our exp i availed yung services ng agency as early in this stage up until lodging ng visa. Since mejo busy kami and naniguro lang dn ako kasi mejo mahal dn kung mgkamali ako over snall details and technicalities. Hope it helps.

Hello Sir, may i know po if sino agent nyo at what background po kayo ng engineering?

    Notes:
ALL Reference Letter / COE: Ako lang gumawa, through research / existing JD / EA Guidelines, etc. I just asked them to sign it for me. Nakakakaba tong part na to guys. Haha. Kailangan ng konting reasoning. Baka makatulong yung mga ginawa ko. Hehe

Company 1: Ayaw pirmahan ng HR, pumunta ko sa General Manager, sinama ko pa tatay ko (dating Area Manager ng company) para chumika for me at maging smooth ang pag-sign. It pushed through! Haha. Even brought pasalubongs and treats sa acctg, HR and others para light yung mood ng pagpunta after years of separation sa company. Hehe.

Company 2: HR. Medyo madali to. Pero since, tinatamad sila gumawa ng new format, ako yung pinagawa nila. I have the company letter head naman, since same lang ang ginagamit sa mga official letter na ginagamit pang communicate sa GenCon, so G na. Hehe. In-insert ko lahat ng requirement ni EA and have them sign. They signed it electronically. No questions asked. Achieved!

Company 3: Current employment. It’s quite a challenge. Hehe. Chinese employer na ayaw malamangan. HAHA IYKWIM. So, iba atake ko this time. So, gumawa lang rin ako EA format. Have them sign, medyo ayaw ayaw pa. Kasi nga naman, unfamiliar and detailed talaga requirement ni EA and it’s very unusual sa common COE. After a few attempts. I got it. Haaay.

The things we do for our dreams! I believe gathering documents is tougher than preparing CDRs. Sa totoo lang! Pero after these, nakahinga na at sabak naman sa technical writing.

Thank you for this forum. Just got my Positive Assessment. I felt the need to share these with you, para makatulong rin sa iba na kailangan ng feed ng info. More power sa ating lahat. Graduate na me sa EA!

    (PROACTIVE) TIPS THAT MIGHT HELP
    1. Secure all scholastic / employment docs proactively.
    2. Since I’ve been eyeing AU college pa lang yata ako, before I even graduate,di ako lumabas ng university nang di ko nasesecure ko mga docs ko, or plan how and when to get yung mga docs na di agad narerelease. Like diploma, etc.
    3. AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE, umalis sa company in good faith, lalo na sa HR and managers. Hehe. And i-secure and BIR 2316 (every year) - nirerequest ko talaga ito annually. This is our right to have these docs, because let’s admit di naman nila kusang iissue yang mga docs.
Hehe.
Use psychology. Hehe.
    6. Another thing, 2 out 3 companies na mentioned above. Walang issue na official payslip. Since ang payslip ay wala namang authorized signature. Ako gumagawa neto EVERY TIME. Tapos minsan cash like sa Company 3. So walang makukuhang bank statement. I supported these with cash voucher (receipt like) na binibigay sa min tuwing narereceive salary. So, DIY Payslip + Cash Vouchers; scanned together = Proof of Payment na siya.
    7. Always check your contributions (SSS, Philhealth, HDMF) sa mga online portals. Monitor niyo kung nahuhulugan talaga. THIS IS A VERY STRONG EMPLOYMENT EVIDENCE. Since it’s government generated. Kaya EA trusts this docs.
    8. Pray!

Maraming salamat po sa mga insights niyo. Graduate na sa EA. <3

Hi Ms. @annedetermined.. Thank you for sharing your journey and tips.. To all members thanks for sharing marami akong napulot na sagot while reading conversations. I’m ME, also preparing my documents for assessment.

Thank you in advance sa response. God bless us all.

Graduate po ako ng Mechanical Engineering Technology way back 2008. Then nag work po ako machinist 5 years sa pinas then 8 years sa ibang bansa.

Thank you po for your answer in advance

why not try to apply for the machinist skill// i think sakop to ng general fitter (323211) or metal machinist - first class (323214) kasi mas madami ka experience dun (over 10years) and magagmit mo un points for skilled migration visa.

Hi I posted this as a new thread pero mukhang wala makaka pansin and matatabunan na so Ill just post this here for some help.

My cousins po mag-asawa is both Civil Engineers and planning to apply for skilled visa.

Yung Guy is Working as a project engineer at a construction company sa SG and doing horizontal (roads), vertical (building) and reclamation.

On the other hand, yung Gal is yung work nya ay mostly mechanical engineering. She's working as a Senior Project & Design Engineer and also acts as ASME QC Manager. So more on mechanical engineering side yung work nya.

Anyone ba sa inyo ang atleast same or malapit na experience for EA Assessment?

    Thank in advance guys!
Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year!

RSEA - Relevant Skilled Employment Assessment -> Dito yung ipapasa mo yung mga skill and employment related credentials mo to EA para ma assess nila if saang category ka and i think to merit yung number of working years kasi may additional points din siya.

Hello everyone….just new year here in the forum and am looking forward to learn the visa processes more.

Mechanical Engineer, 40 yrs of age and my employer is willing to sponsor me.

Marami po ba dito ang nag DIY?
I am trying to do a DIY kasi and following some process mukhang kaya naman po…may mga certain questions lang ako na d ko maresearch ang sagot 😅

Bale po about sana sa skill assessment ng EA and sa required docs na needed.

    1. May nakita kasi ako checklist na need ng docs like COE, payslips, sss, govt contributions etc but not sure if needed ba lahat or anyone of the each will do?

    2. About sa COE may format po ba ito na required or pwede na ung nirelease ng employer mismo? May nagadvise kasi na dumaan sila sa agent and may format na binigay to have their previous employers sign it again. Unfortunately for me majority na napasukan ko are closed na so d ko na mahabol 😩 ok lang po kaya ung original copy ng COE from employer?

    3. About payslips, ung last job ko lang po ang meron ako naitabi the rest wala na po. Nagstart kasi ako work 2004 po and d ko naman makita na 😩 what other options po kaya for this? Will ITR or SSS copy from the website will do?

    4. Last po, currently i am working with an Australian company as a subcontractor (contract renewable yearly) remotely here sa PH. Direct hire po ako nila so wala akong middle man na agency or company na dinaanan. Direct po ung pag wire transfer nila sakin and wala payslips and no govt contributions at all. d ko pa naaapply as self employed. Ung narerecieve ko lang sa kanila as proof of payment is ung wire transfer from the online system nila. Ok na po kaya un as supporting document?

Looking forward po sa mga suggestions nyo about my inquiry.

    Sana po mapansin :)

    Have a good day po.

    Salamat in advance po.

    2. May format required si EA regarding sa COE, Unang binigay ko is yung “generic” COE lang na binigay ng previous company, then after 2 days of submission, nag advise si EA na need yung COE na format nila then ididirect ka nila to read the booklet.
    3. SSS, Pagibig, Philhealth contri will suffice. Kahit yung screenshots lang.
    4. No, your situation will be read as “self-employed” and magiging problem mo ito sa supporting documents kasi ang hinahanap ni EA dito is proof of your relevant skilled employment and yung years of working mo. May documents needed din for self-employed since makikita nila na bakit nagwowork ka but no government contributions.

    1. Documents are needed for the last 10 years. The more evidence you can provide, the better.
    2. Work reference letter is needed as per EA, not COE. Pwede ka gumawa ng draft letter, then pasign mo sa mga previous employers for the last 10 years only, make sure to follow the format of EA. If sarado na ang previous companies, I read somewhere in this thread that they provided a statutory declaration.
    3. Same as no. 1
    4. Sorry. I have no idea.

    Goodluck!

Thank you sir for your answer. And medyo nakahinga ng onti sa 10 years lang na need pala….

But sir ano kaya pwede mangyari sa situation ng current work ko?

Ung reference letter po maaari ko po mapapirmahan sa kanila pero ung sa payslip po kasi is parang wire transfer slip lang ang binibigay nila sakin will this be ok kaya?

Last po about sa statutory letter po need lang po ba na gumawa lang or may format dn?

    Thanks again po

Hi everyone, were any of you assessed as a Engineering Technologist while your occupation is something else? In this case, was your past work experiences considered relevant for Technologist by EA and/or DOHA?

My past work experience is on Telecommunication Systems (Tech support engineer, technical consultant, etc..) which seems to lean more towards Systems Engineering, so I'm wondering if EA or DOHA will recognize my work experience.

Any insights or feedback would be helpful. Thanks

My 3 years UK degree is accredited and recognized via Sydney accord leading to technologist. It's a straightforward path, and I didn't want to waste too much time to prepare CDRs. And since the degree is 3 years only, it will be very difficult to convince EA to give me professional engineer title.

I do feel that the MSA booklet definition of Technologist match my duties, but the only thing is, I work with systems which we design, build, program and implement (on server farms) for automated data and traffic processing in Telecom networks.

I saw that EA also have accredited courses in Bachelor of Technology (Computer Systems Engineering) https://www.engineersaustralia.org.au/sites/default/files/resource-files/2018-02/ENGINEERS AUSTRALIA ACCREDITED PROGRAMS_0.pdf

Hopefully someone who was assessed as technologist and managed to get their work experience recognized could shed some light here.
