    @engr_maylene052581 - 3 months po ang validity ng UAE PCC... but it wont matter kasi ang tinitingnan ng CO eh ang validity ng PCC ng place of residence mo..

    so kung nasa Pinas ka ngaun.. ung NBI clearance ang mag-matter..
    ung mga PCCs mo from other country, is just to make sure na wla kang criminal records nung tumira ka sa country na yun..

    hindi ko masyado na gets ang tanong mo... anu/san nakalagay ang passport number?

    sa application mo for UAE PCC:
    - include mo lahat ng copy ng passport mo kung nasan ang UAE visa/s mo dati, for their reference...
    - at include mo rin ang current passport mo (meron or wala ka mang dubai visa sa current passport mo)..

    dapat ang Current passport mo ang nasa PCC, kasi i-compare yan sa passport mo sa DIAC visa application mo..

    actuall hindi ko alam.. kung nandyan ka nmn sa Dubai, wag ka muna mag-apply kung wala ka pa CO.. madali lang nmn kumuha..

    pero in terms of effect sa IED, wala nmn sguro.. they all treat it as 12mos valid..

    @lock_code2004 thanks po s mga reply ha.... Nalodged pa lang po application ko waiting for CO... Baed kai sa mga thread dito after a week or few weeks lang nagrerequest na sila ng Pcc para safe kumuha na po ako before umuwi... Then pag di umabot no choice kung di mag request ulit... Ung kay hubby ko nga 3 weeks na wala pa din... Tuwing pupunta kami dun not yet ready raw hirap pa nmang kausap mga local.... Musta po? Sa oz na ba kayo?

    @engr_maylene052581, based on my experience, madali lang naman po kumuha ng Dubai PCC. 3 days lang po narelease na ung PCC ko. Tsaka my binigay po silang claim stub, nakalagay dun ung date kung klan mo sya makukuha. Ano daw po problema bkit sa hubby mo 3 weeks na wala pa?

    Ung sakin nakuha ko na based sa date na nilagay nila, sahubby ko ngaun ko lang kinuha, at kinulit ko lang kasi sabi ko need ko na kunin, walang problema tinatamad lang, kasi pagdating ko saka lang hinalungkat file nya at saka lang ginawa...

    hi @jvframos - if you have not read.. there is a specifc thread for those archi applying with archi draftsperson as their nominated occupation..

    mabilis ang approval if you go by this occupation, dahil wala nmn po talaga pang nakakapasa kung "archi" talga ang inonominate mo.. iba daw kasi ang bldg code sa au.. compared sa pinag-aralan sa pinas..

    in summary:
    - archi draftsperson assessment - thru vetassess
    - take your ielts
    - submit EOI, apply for visa 190 (SS)
    - apply for state sponsorship, i think Western Australia ang currently in demand ngaun..
    - after SS approval and visa application, in 5 weeks or so, you can get your CO and a visa grant

    hi lockcode, yes, i have read the thread already but this query is something different. arki ing hubby ko and sa visa nya ditto sa use ay mechanical draftsman and line of work nya. since mechanical draftsman say, di xa covered ng vet assess and instead sa engrs australia xa included. question is, may nakatry na ba sa forumers na arki who went to EA for assessment? masyado madugo and rests nil a lalo na young CDR which is not applicable for my husband kasi halos drafting lang naman ginagawa nya

    hi lockcode, yes, i have read the thread already but this query is something different. arki ing hubby ko and sa visa nya ditto sa use ay mechanical draftsman and line of work nya. since mechanical draftsman say, di xa covered ng vet assess and instead sa engrs australia xa included. question is, may nakatry na ba sa forumers na arki who went to EA for assessment? masyado madugo and rests nil a lalo na young CDR which is not applicable for my husband kasi halos drafting lang naman ginagawa nya
    oh i see.. hindi ko napansin na mech draftsperson pala..

    question: entirely iba po ba ang ginagawa nya sa ibang mga draftsperson, i mean, check ung ibang draftsperson na anzsco code (na hindi sa EA ang assessment) at kung malapit dun ang job description nyabaka pwede naman po na dun i tailor fit ang mga COE+Job Description nya..

    kung wala talaga, eh EA po talaga ang mech engr drafstperson..

    we have checked na pero dun talaga sila for assessment. difficulty now lies on the documentation part since pag mechanical draftsperson ka, wala naman masyadong career eiposeds yun na pwede isulat sa CDR. everyday is the same and work is normally fed by the engineers. sana po mayron sa mga taga forum na makapagbigay ng tips sa amin how to proceed with the process.

    Occupation: Architectural Drafstperson (ANZSCO Code 312111)
    Feb 2013 - Started collecting Vetassess requirements; March 29, 2013 - Lodged for Vetassess skills assessment; June 8, 2013 - took IELTS (BC, UAE); June 14, 2013 - received VETASSESS positive skills assessment; June 21, 2013 - got ielts results OBS 7.0 (l-7.5, r-7, w-7, s-7); June 24, 2013 - submitted EOI; June 27, 2013 - submitted WA state sponsorship application; July 03, 2013 - WA state sponsorship application approved; July 05, 2013 - received from DIAC invitation to lodge; July 14, 2013 - lodge visa application; August 13, 2013 - CO allocated, Team 7 GSM Adelaide; August 20, 2013 - submitted Form 80, NBI, PCC, bank statements for me, hubby and daughter and additional docs for hubby in lieu of Saudi PCC (statutory declaration, exit visa and end of service contract); August 22, 2013 - Medical check done; August 26, 2013 - uploaded hubby's Saudi PCC.... finally!; Sept 27, 2013 - visa grant daw but unofficial, hindi namin alam granted na pala.... long story…; Oct 10, 2013 - when we learned that our case was granted but no official confirmation.; Oct 11, 2013 - Official VISA Grant! Finally!!!! Thank God. End of the 1st journey, start of the new beginning; July 10, 2014 - IED

    Hi! we are currently in Abu Dhabi planning to Migrate to OZ by June 2013... I just want to ask if mas mabuti bang dalhin yung LCD TV galing UAE or mas practical ang bumili ng TV sa OZ... Alin ba yung mga practical na mga gamit na mas mabuting dalhin from UAE to OZ... Thanks!

    @wenzhel - medyo busy na yata ang mga taga UAE.. kaya ako sasagot.. ex-UAE.. lol..

    @adelle_82 - kung wala ka pang permanent place to stay mahirap magdala ng maraming gamit.. or pwede nyo nmn ipa-ship (by sea), to arrive atleast 2months after, just in time meron na kayong permanent place..

    pero kung hassle pa yun, ibenta nyo na lang, or i uwi sa pinas...

    @lock_code2004 thanks...I have the same concern as adelle_82...but based sa mga nabasa sa forums e di nga practical to bring big appliances...pero we really need to ship of our things here in Dubai kc d nmn namin madadala ng sabay sabay...you have any idea which items ang possible magkaproblema sa custom..actually my wife will ship them to me pag me nakuha nako bahay...I'll be arriving in Adelaide on April 10 then my wife and my son have to stay here in Dubai until my son finishes his school on June...eto mga basics n plan namin ipadala:

    clothes and hangers
    shoes
    baking pans and mixer
    media com set (videoke)
    toys
    utensils and plates
    books and magazines
    religious statues
    wooden crucifix

    So far eto pa lang nasa list...yung TV e baka di n namin ipadala kc d daw malalagyan ng insurance e baka masira lng sa byahe...

    anyone who could give inputs on this will be much appreciated..Salamat

    guys, with regard to passport visa stamping pala...di ba d nmn required na nakastamp sa passport yung visa as long as you have a copy of the grant letter and notice? although, mas maganda pag nakastamp na...

    matagal b magpstamp, i mean yung appointment be e matagal kc I barely have 2 weeks here in Dubai before flying to Adelaide...how much will it cost for family of 3 and do we have to be all present in the embassy or pedeng ako lng? thanks

    @wenzhel - bawal po ang anything made in wood... kahit maliit na alahas, photo frame na wood bawal... posible kasing may mga insects daw na makaka-affect sa mga environment sa australia.. kahit na mga religious statues pa po na wood...
    sympre lalong bawal ang mga food, kahit anong pagkain..

    medyo mahigpit po sila, kaya double check nyo pati mga laruan baka may mga wood..
    or pati mga shoes, baka may mga damo or kahit konting lupa... ;)

    nood po kayo sa youtube search nyo "border security australia"..

    @wenzhel - yup hindi na required ang visa label, basta dala mo lang ang copy ng visa grant mo.. but if you want you can still have it for a fee..

    24 November 2012: Visa Evidencing Charge in effect from 24 November 2012
    Effective 24 November 2012,if an Australian visa holder wishes to have a visa label affixed in a passport there will be an application process and additional charge.

    VFS visa application centres across GCC are able to accept an application for visa evidencing and this will be forwarded to the Australian Consulate General in Dubai for processing.

    More information on this application process and Visa Evidencing Charge (VEC) kindly refer to the Visa Type Section on our website.

    Nagreply sakin ang VFS and me bayad na nga AED280 per visa ata then me mga dditional charges pa...di na lang muna kami magpa-stamp...
