It has been raining invites left and right! We’ve had cases where we we’ve lodged the day before and the following day may invite na! As long as you meet the minimum 65 points requirement, get yourself out there na!

Don’t hesitate…it’s not more of the points now it’s more of how soon you can lodge your EOI! Get things moving by around May/June it will go quiet na due to end of financial year by June. Then July to August will also slowdown due to start of financial year whilst everyone is waiting for budget and qouta allocation from the government. A lot I notice put things on hold due to English, wanting to score as much points first before proceeding with skills assessment. If skills assessing authority doesn’t require English, don’t dwell too much on English, get started with your skills assessment - that’s the most tedious part. Don’t waste your time on English.

Question po. I visited my siblings in Australia October 2022 until Nov 2022 on a TV600 visa. Ang concern ko po is I am planning to submit an EOI for NSW 190 offshore at nabasa ko sa requirement na ganito po.

"Be currently residing in NSW, or offshore, and have continuously done so for a minimum period of six months"

Will my visit considered as "residing" or since naka Tourist Visa naman ako di yun considered as residing?
I hope sana may makasagot dito na same case pero na invite padin, sobrang worried ko po dahil dito. Salamat.

Hello po question po. Baka po may makapagshare ng expi.
Currently waiting for grant po ako ng 189 (all docs submitted + nbi+medical)

Yung main employer ko po sa ibang bansa is nag-offer ng 1yr visa work sa country nila.

Kung tatanggapin ko po ito, is there a need to notify the immig? New contract po, change job location but same occupation and field.

Iniisip ko po kasi kung ok lang ba kunin while waiting for grant para maka-ipon pa or will it affect my visa processing (updating of info etc.)? Baka hassle pala magupdate update sa immig account. hehe

Hi ask lang po uli, kahit po kya 80 points Civil Engineer Offshore, malaki chance na nakukuha pa rin sa VIC 190? Thanks

Hi Miss @RheaMARN1171933 , ask lng ako ng insight mo, I received a notification from VIC S190 that I will be eligible for next invitation. based on your experience, is it likelihood that I will be received a pre-invite next round?. I got 75+5 pts CE occupation. I am planning to re-take my english for superior score to increase my pts. should I cease to re-take it. I am very unmotivated to review the English PTE coz of busy at works. should I wait for VIC invitation.

We’ve received a few automated emails of those but did still waiting for invites on some. More points won’t hurt but we also see cases proceeding even with competent English and much lower points. Priority points only apply on 189 and 491 family stream. 190 and 491 regional are subject to selection criteria of the state.

No idea what your occupation is but I recently shared a link to my post about points for 189 in the recent invite.

    Hi to all!

    Baka po may nakakaalam :)

I am currently onshore with 482 (working visa). Magllodge na po ako ng visa for 189 next weekend. Ang question ko lang po is... okay lang po ba ako umuwi ng PH para magbakasyon after po ako makapaglodge?

Thank you so much po sa sasagot!

It depends…if your 482 visa isn’t expired yet then you continue to be on that visa after 189 lodgement. You can still travel in that visa…but if it has expired, your bridging visa A which will be granted to you upon 189 visa application lodgement will be automatically activated which will restrict you from travelling unless you apply for a bridging visa b. Bridging visa b will only be granted if the travel is for emergency purposes.

Thank you so much po Ms. Rhea! So just in case po na ma-grant po ang 189 visa ko while I'm offshore, wala naman po magiging problema?

If you applied onshore, you need to be onshore at time of grant.

Hi Ms. Rhea! Thank you for answering my question.

I'm just a bit confused po. Just a little bit of context, I'm currently onshore under 482 visa. My current visa is still active for the next 3 years. I lodged my 189 visa today and plans to travel back to Manila for the whole month of March 2023. You mentioned po na okay lang magtravel kasi may active visa pa po ako. Pero sabi niyo rin po na dapat po onshore ako kapag nagrant ung 189 visa? What will happen po if na-grant siya habang nagbabakasyon po ako sa Pinas? Thank you so much po for your input!

    Hello po!

Naglodge na po ako ng 189 visa pero hindi pa po ako nakakapagattach ng facial image kasi may lumalabas pong error na "the system is detecting that the person's mouth is open...".

I entered the reason "system error message when trying to attach facial image" before submitting the application.

After payment, nagtry po ako uli na iupload ung facial image. Same po error po yung lumalabas.

Paano niyo po successfully na-attach yung facial image niyo?

    Thanks po sa sasagot!

Hi there po! Meron po bang nakaka alam or may same scenario po, kung allowed under visa 189 to apply to bring dependent children with you but not the spouse? For the reason po that si spouse ay magkakaroon ng working visa. Salamat in advance sa sasagot po!
