    Good day to all!
Does anyone here have some tips on do's and don'ts sa Statement of Service and CV documents for VETASSESS, particularly for Project Administrators?
Gaano ka detailed dapat ang State of Service? Is it usually the JD and then I can put more details in my CV?

Thank you very much to anyone that answers.

Not a Project Admin, but here's what I did: For statement of service, the more detailed, the better. So your name, role, working hours and setup (FT, PT, contractual), list of duties, start date (and end date, if past employment), monthly or annual salary, place of employment, company name, mga ganun.

For my CV, I just made sure to match the duties sa statement of service. But I didn't do anything special besides that (oh but I did provide a brief overview of my course, my thesis, and my OJT). I think the most important thing is consistency, so make sure job titles, dates, company names, and the like match across your documents.

Maraming salamat sa reply, everything you mentioned is very clear to me. I guess my actual question would be 'how much detail do they need for the duties'? Yung the way it is stated ba sa ANZSCO, something to that effect? Or does my organization need to be very specific? Or can I addendum that to my CV na lang din?

Thank you very much ha, I have been working on my VETASSESS docs and it is taking me so long since napaparanoid ako. I know you can understand.

    Thank you.

Pwedeng high level description of your roles and responsibilities. Sakin around 9 bullet points nilagay ko and I made sure the descriptions tried to match the occupation that I was being assessed for.

Maraming salamat sa iyong reply and for clarifying on the level of description, makes perfect sense since this is a "management" role than a specialist one. Maraming salamat ulit. Wish me luck please!

May previous work po na about 5 years experience tapos na promote to become pm. Bibilangin din ba ng vetassess yung experience mo before promotion or di ka pa deemed skilled non? Ang ipapa assess sana is PM.

It really depends on VETASSESS, usually if related yung work experience sa degree mo or hindi. If hindi, they might deduct more kasi they will consider that year/those years as a substitute to formal education in your chosen field/occupation. I'm not sure lang if a promotion is a factor.

I am still preparing my documents, but very useful for me now is studying the nominated occupation descriptions. If your previous experience matches a good portion of the items listed, maybe you should include it. Depending on your qualifications (educational attainment), they might also deduct a few years from your relevant working experience and in consideration of the skill level required.

Well i just hope they can consider few years prior to promotion sayang den kasi yung extra 5 points lol kung papasok sa 8yrs.

Hopefully, they do and you can get the 5 points—malaking bagay din yun! But there's really no way to tell until you have your outcome, all one can do is make sure na okay yung requirements. Fingers crossed for you!

SD as in statutory declaration? I think that applies lang for self-employment. Sa statement of service for each company dapat nakalagay yung duties mo sa bawat role. That's one of the main ways your skills gets assessed—if yung duties sa bawat trabaho mo ay aligned sa duties na nakalista for your nominated occupation.

So di ako makakagawa ng Statement of service. So ang mga proof ko is mga contracts, job desriptions at emails showing na related sa nominated occupation yung pinaggagawa ko.

If these are what your employer provided you, I don’t think it should be an issue. There’s no reason to worry about it unless you fabricated those letterheads

Hello! Need advice po. Regarding Employment evidence, nag pasa po kasi ako ng SSS & PhiliHealth contributions as Payment evidence. June 2017 po ako nahire sa company pero July 2017 na sila nag start maghulog sa SSS & PhilHealth ko so ang nakareflect sa records ko as first payment ay July 2017. Ngayon nag reply ang assessor na hindi raw tugma ang declared start of employment ko sa proof of payment. Any idea po kung paano ko i-explain na rule ng company na a month after employny pa talaga start ng contribution sa SSS & PhilHealth? And ano pa po ba pwede kong i-add as proof of payment? Will submitting payslip satisfy them?

I took up BS Aircraft Engineering, and almost 6 years nang working as Technical Writer. Anyway, I don’t really want to give up my AU dream so I thought if makakahelp ba if mag take ako ng Master’s degree from a Section 1 school? Once done yan, will apply ulit for an assessment. Let me know your thoughts please. Thanks!

Pag wala po sss contri, negatibe po ba assessment? I just have coe ans some paylips

Ang sinubmit ko for my assessment before was COE (with detailed description of duties), payslips and ITR. Di naman nagrequire ng SSS contributions.

That’s a long shot! What occupation were you trying to nominate?

Might be challenging to be honest. Need talaga to prove yung employment history and yun ang basic documents to support it. Still up to you to try, if you can provide as many documents as you can.

You can also provide Bank statements citing names of the applicant showing salary payments from employer.

Hi!

    Thanks!

Aww sorry to hear this. Di ba pwede mag reappeal tapos mag RPL ka nalang ng work experience to compensate for the education? If you don't mind me asking, how did they assess your BS as AQF Diploma? Was it based on the section classification ng school or number of undergrad years?

If your company can issue (with letterhead and signature), that will be better. In my case, since hindi possible from the company, I just made my own version and included Statutory Declaration.
