I luckily got 90 in each band, pero super dami kong mistakes sa Speaking! Repeat Sentence yung super nahirapan ako dahil medyo mabilis magsalita, very unfamiliar yung words and ang hirap maintindihan kaagad dahil may accent yung speaker, and di ako masyado familiar sa context enough para manghula. Still, I got a 90.

Pinakamadali for me yung writing kasi copy-paste lang ako from the actual text at paraphrase. Di ako nag-template. WFD was also easy kasi makikinig ka lang intently.

For Essay, template. Inaral ko ito around 2 days din since medyo mahaba lol.

One important tip I can suggest is baguhin ang settings ng mic niyo. Gawin niyong Listen to this device. Not sure paano gawin sa MacOS. Pero yung goal is marinig niyo sarili niyo sa headphones. Ganon din kasi sa actual exam. And napaka laking tulong pala ng naririnig mo sarili mo kasi mas maccorrect mo ang intonations etc.

@rlyn_126 I used the template from APEUNI. Someone earlier from this thread posted the similar template. Yung nagsstart sa ganito:
“Nowadays, whether topic has sparked a heated or drawn public attention. Some people firmly believe that…” (sorry I am on my phone, can’t share the whole thing)
I found it to be flexible enough after trying several topics. For me, importante mag template para maka iwas sa grammatical errors and sure na makapasok dun sa 200-300 words. Even with the template, sakto lang halos yung 20 minutes for writing the whole essay, may sobra lang ako na few minutes after proofreading. Personally, mahihirapan ako sa 20 minutes kung walang template and on the spot ako mag fformulate ng essay structure.

@shining_metapod are you allowed to write the template during the exam itself? For example the DI and RL templates? Yung tipong babasahin mo na lang sya while answering the question. TIA

Pwede naman, as long as may time ka magsulat dun sa erasable na pad before magstart yung actual test. Before kasi magstart ang exam proper ay may mga instructions pa na babasahin at mga details. If you can write on the pad, then go for it.

Alam ko bawal may bitbit pero try asking yung staff on the day of your exam, or ipaalam mo situation mo sa kanila. The important thing is to declare it to them para di ka masuspect ng kahit ano.

Napaka lamig sa loob hehe, need to wear comfy clothes. That time pinaiwan din ang panyo ko. At dapat mentally prepared pag kasabay mo na mga ibang tao nagsasalita. Bawal maalala mga bagay bagay (nakakain na ba aso, na send ba email, napatay ba rice cooker)

This is true po. Bawal magsulat before yung start ng actual exam (magiging actual exam na pag yung na-click na yung start button and magsasagot na ng questions) If nahuli ka ng proctor, ma-coconfiscate ung pad mo. Papalitan ng bago Para safe, during the exam (y)

Baka po meron pong pwedeng maheraman or mabilan po VIP APEUni dito po until tomorrow lang. Namiscalculate po kasi namin ung nabili namin na VIP APEUni for my husband. Nagexpire na today yung kanya magmock pa sana siya today and tomorrow. Nagbabakasakali lang po we are willing to pay din for a small fee po versus bumili kami ulit ng 30days VIP sa APE Uni. Salamat.

The only tip i can give you is to download the apeuni app.

Print the exam format and go thru each exam type. All the apeuni templates work. Yung template lang for essay di ko talaga na memorize, so i just made my own based on Intro, Additional info, example and conclusion.

Before the exam starts, ideally you should write your retell lecture and describe image templates. If the proctor do not allow, write it during your reading aloud. (Allow 10-15secs for writing and another 10secs for preparing the read aloud excercise). Do it for the next 3 questions heheheh.

Focus. God is good.

Kailangan lang focus ka and wag mo pakinggan nasa paligid mo. Maging selective ka sa naririnig mo. Have a good rest the day before kasi dapat di ka uneasy and clear ang mind mo. (Medyo naging ritual ko na yan even nung university days dapat well rested ka).

Sa exam proper, wag na wag magiisip if na tanggal sa saksak yung rice cooker, na lock pinto ng oto, naka kain na ba aso etc. Problemahin mo lang yung exam.

Make sure na familiar ka sa lahat ng exam types para pag nasa harap mo, split second lang alam no gagawin.

Remember anong question type yung individually timed at collectively timed. (Anything na 10mins or 20mins ok lang sulitin kasi yung matitipid mo di naman mag add up sa next questions).

Hi po, that's actually a good score na po kahit mock test. Based on my experience po mas mahirap pa po ang mock exam sa actual pte exam. If sa ipapanatag niyo po, you can try 1 official mock exam to gauge po iyong actual feel and scoring po talaga ng official pte exam. Ganun din po kasi ginawa ko parang preparation na rin ng lahat ng inaral day before the exam. But sa mga natry ko na po mock test mababa po talaga sila magbigay ng score and mabbigla ka na lang sa mismong exam mataas po.

I did not take the official mock test, APEUni mock test seemed a fair basis if you're ready for the official exam as it's AI scorer is bit harder. I suggest try another PTE practice sites with free full mock tests too.

Conservative mag score si apeuni. I have tried the reading aloud free grading ng apeuni, mababa nakukuha ko. Not even 80 plus, pero sa actual PTE 90.
