Student Visa Including family

We are planning to get a student Visa (postgraduate). Pero gusto ko isama yung wife ko and 3 kids. 2 daughters will study primary school. Any advice po?

1. School fees and heath insurance?
2. May discount ba ang mga students if i will take postgrad school.
3. Ano po ba bridging visa for student?

Need help.

Hello po, based sa experience if you have school-aged childred, they will also be international students not unless you are an Australian government scholar (Ausaid).

    1. School fees = $12k/yr each student
health Insurance = you can check for quotes on oshc websites (Allianz, AHM, NIB, BUPA, Medibank etc)

    2. Wala pong discount, all school aged children will be charged as international students because the main visa holder is a student visa holder.

    3. Wala pong bridging visa for student. Bridging visa is issued to those who are in Australia who have applied for another visa while holding a valid substantive visa. (https://www.homeaffairs.gov.au/trav/visi/visi/bridging-visas)

Bka maabolish ung student dependent. Salamat sis sa pagsagot po..

Good Morning. Just want to check for insights kung possible po ba. Family of 5, kids ages 15, 9 and 7. Im thinking student visa pero alam ko mahirap ang setup. Ayaw ko kasi mahiwalay sa family as much as possible. I have a relative in Rockhampton na willing tumulong sakin. Appreciate any feedback and some idea sa possible expenses. thanks!

I think that all depends sa available funds niyo na, lifestyle, and of course the jobs you'll be getting with a student visa. Ang alam ko inextend na nila yung working hours for students to 48 hours per fortnight: https://www.education.gov.au/extended-poststudy-work-rights-international-graduates#:~:text=From 1 July 2023, international,to 48 hours per fortnight.

    @Makuneru
Yes, my partner has full working rights
    Here's the current matrix.
Undergrad/Diploma courses - both limited (now unlimited but starting July 1, 2023, 48hr per fortnight)
Masters by coursework - primary (limited) / partner (full)
Masters by research and PhD - both full work rights

If you could search for a state that offers free studies for your grades 8 & 9 you'll be fine. May nabasa ko dati from FB forum that there are certain states that offer that. Otherwise, they are also considered as an international student and the fees are extremely high and not really recommended. I have friends holding SV who left their partner/children in Ph. They have to do necessary sacrifices until they got the graduate visa.
