    Hello all,

I'm almost done doing my CDRs pero nag dadalawang isip ako if yung mga attached photos and calculations ko from my projects will be considered as plagiarism.

Ma co-consider po kaya iyun as plagiarism since it is considered as my employer's property although ako gumawa nung reports? Salamat po sanay mka tulong kayu:)

hi ano pong naging outcome nyo? nagcapture kasi ako ng photo ng layout ng isa kong project. inexplain ko lang ung scope ko don using that layout. im worried if baka matracs as plagiarism

Hello po, I am a Chemical Engineer seeking for advice. I have 2 work experiences na gusto ko po isama sa career episodes. 1st work experience is 4.5 years, yung duties po nito is match sa materials engineer (ANZSCO 233112). Second work experience naman is 5 years, dutied match sa Chemical Engineer (233111). I just want to gather opinions po sana if may nakapag-claim na po ng points for 'closely related occupations'? Plan ko po sana i-nominate na occupation is Chemical Engineer since yun yung pinakamatagal ko pong work experience, but I just want to know if may possibility po kaya na makapag-claim din ako ng points for my 1st job experience na related sa materials engineer considering na closely related naman siya kay chemical engineer based on ANZSCO? Aiming po sana ako na makaclaim ng maximum points for work experience since I have total of 9.5 years work experience already. Thanks po sa makakapag-share ng thoughts nila.

I think just proceed ung option 3. at least wala ka na ipprovide pang details. not sure with your goal. but if its just to get a positive feedback from EA and submit EOI the earliest, then option 3 is the most viable option for you.

Thank you po for your advise. Will proceed with this option.
Also, the EA asked for updated reference letter. I have been in the same company with several positions. I have submitted different reference for each position signed by diff managers as well.

But EA asked for updated reference letter. Shall I ask the reference letter from HR? and must state in the letter the summary of positions? I'm not comfortable asking these details to HR since I'm still connected with company.

Check the date if the reference letter you provided for your current employment. Usually when they ask for an updated letter, they just want the most recent date on the letter. Hope that helps

Hi guys! I'm a mechanical engineer po and yung school ko falls under section 2. Then board passer din po ako. Does it mean hindi ko na ba kailangang magpaassess kay EA? Will I be able to work as a Professional Engineer?

Planning to go to Au under SV, then during the first year of study, I will try to lodge for 189 or 190. By the looks of it, if makapagsuperior english ako, I could target 80 points for 189 and 85 points with 190. Even without considering na matapos ko yung two-year study, less than 3 years of work exp, and less than 1 year of professional year etc.

What are my chances na magrant po?

Sa loob ng 5 years, I have worked in 3 companies. Or is it a red flag? Or 2 CE sa 2nd company, 1 sa third company never mentioning the 1st company?

    Thanks po in advanced!

Medyo matagal po kasi ang process for 189/190. I heard pag onshore mas less ang competition for the skilled visa and mas priority.

Medyo matagal po kasi ang process for 189/190. I heard pag onshore mas less ang competition for the skilled visa and mas priority.

Last year nga mas priority ang offshore, there was an invite round na puro offshore lang ininvite and the scores went as low as 70. Isa ko namang friend na ME onshore nag apply ng PR nung Dec pero til now wala pa grant so it's all up in the air. If you can gather the CDR docs like payslips, SSS and whatnot habang nasa pinas ka pa that would be ideal.

There's also talks na by next year, iibahin na ang pts system and magiging less favorable sya sa mga international students so you can also consider that. Good thing na aware ka sa visa steps and minamaximize mo ung pts now, your plan is feasible. All the best!

Why not work for 189/190 now? No need to go for SV if you can get superior english. Saves you money as well

All the best!

thank you so much po sa feedback nyo. One last question po sana, hesitant ako dun sa work exp ko na 4 years na magkameron ng positive assessment kasi wala po akong ITR, hulog sa benefits, and payslips. The only thing na pwede ko maproduce is yung reference letter from them and yung COE. Like affidavits?

Sorry no idea ako pag nagpapa assess ng work exp kasi nag apply ako before ng wala nyan. Let's wait for the others to give their input.

    thanks:)

Hello, anyone here who lodged their requirements for MSA last May and still no outcome yet? I lodged mine last May 9th. Status changed into assessment in progress last June 9th and still waiting for outcome until now. This is fast track for agent btw.

I have a degree in Electronics (ECE) Engineering, but my work is more related to Plant Engineering (Mechanical), and more recently Electrical (Magulo, I know. hehe) . When I consulted with an agency they just said it will be difficult to get a positive outcome, with no way forward given to me-- granted it was a free consultation so di naman sila required na magbigay ng suggestion. haha

Anyway I just saw a recent post here na nagreply ang assessor na Engineering Technologist na lang ang kunin. Anyone else decided to do this and got an invitation?

    Thanks for your replies!

Also, need ba talaga mag RSEA?? HAHA Thanks!

    Hi po !

answer to Q1 : general statement lang po for each competency metrics- sa remarks on another column tie the general statements to as many CEs demonstrating this metrics by spelling out the CE#s at paragraph #s in those CEs

answer to Q2 : use the EA form - if you make your own -medyo risky dahil your going out from EAs rubrics

I submitted mine on the 29th of May, status quo since today
btw the agent applied a renewal application by fast track and added offshore experience, expecting a bottleneck -just what you are in right now, last time it took 35 days for mine to get an outcome after submitting . The agent mentioned waiting 2 months to get an outcome.
