I think naging ganyan ang outcome dahil on the day of invite, expired PTE nya. Dapat kasi at the time of invite, valid ang docs kaya marami rami dito last year na di nagcontinue ng paglodge because of expired docs. Hintayin naten input ng iba.

Hmm by lodgement kasi iba ata ang term nyan sa iniisip nyo, baka ang iniisip nyo is when you lodge the visa app. Lodgement could mean different sa side ng immi, pero dapat talaga na valid lahat ng docs by the time of invite.

Also saw this page on the immi website:

    https://immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/help-support/meeting-our-requirements/english-language/competent-english

Nakalagay na dapat at the time of invite, less than 3 yrs ang english exam. So yan gawin nyong basis dahil yan ang sabi sa immi website.

Hi. Just wanna be clear on this, my agent adviced me to tick both Visa 190 and 491 in a single EOI account applying for all states.

May nabasa po kasi ako dito before sa forum na it's best to create separate EOIs para hindi ma lock yung account once mainvite ako for one subclass.

Any thoughts on this? Thank you very much.

Hi guys, magtatanong lang po regarding sa filing ng EOI for Onshore applicants.
I have questions on 2 cases if working onshore.

Case 1. I'm working onshore (part time), and ung work ko is RELATED sa Nominated Occupation ko, pero hindi siya nasama sa Skills Assessment. Do I still have to include it in my EOI?

It's safe to not claim for points for that since it was not part of the the skills assessment. You could include it in the EOI, but mark as NOT relevant.

Case 2. I'm working onshore (part time), BUT, ung work ko is NOT RELATED sa Nominated Occupation ko. Do I have to include it in my EOI?

You could include it but mark as NOT relevant.

Pwede ko rin bang hindi ko na i-include sa EOI ko ung part-time work ko (either the work is related or not related sa Nominated Occupation ko). Ok lang ba yon? May negative effect ba yun sa application ko if hindi ko i-include sa EOI ung part-time work ko?

Thanks pala sa response @_sebodemacho .
And salamat din po sa tutulong in advance.

I believe as long as 20 hours per week considered siya.

Be careful on claiming points upon EOI application na hindi related sa nominated occupation mo, baka ma overclaim points, and will create possible issue in the future. Make sure to tag it as non-related sa nominated occupation.

I actually DONT plan on claiming points for it kahit related sa nominated occupation ung part time work.
Ang question ko actually is, pwede ko bang i-exclude or hindi na isama yun sa EOI. As in, pwede ko bang hindi na i-input ung part time work na yun sa EOI, since hindi ko naman iki-claim for points yun?

Thanks again sa mga response. Hoping to get clarity on this. Salamat.

The instructions on EOI is to provide information on employment within the last 10 years. We normally ask our clients to provide what EOI is asking for. They can always not claim points on episodes that they don’t intend to claim for anyway. Hope that helps

For my case, NSW lang ung nag positive. If I had a choice, I would choose Tasmania since it's a colder region and I feel it's a bit underrated. Then Victoria next, 3rd choice ko lang ang NSW to be honest. haha

From Tasmania here, yup malamig po dito hehehe :D Usually po talga target are big cities.

Hi, from tassie here and galing kme ng SG. In my opinion only, before kme lumipat ng tasmania nag work kme sa Sg for 13 years. Siguro naghanap lang kme ng hindi masyadong crowded and more nature feels. Yes po usually big cities ang target more opportunities and depende s lifestyle na gusto mo. Ang kalaban nman dito sa tassie is ung lamig. Iba iba din and weather ng ibang state, I've been to Sydney and melboune, I can say n almost same ng weather Victoria and Tassie, hindi gaanong malamig sa NSW, I mean s Sydney kasi merong part ng NSW n nag ssnow din.

Just one EOI for all states? Pwede naman siguro but I that's kind of odd, even my agent did otherwise. Important to note na each state has a requirement, for example the last FY kay VIC either 491 or 190 lang pwede mo piliin. Other states want just their state ticked sa EOI rin.

I think it's most strategic to lodge separate EOIs per state. And be mindful of the requirements per state also.

    +1

And currently, wala pang released rules for the 190/491 ang mga states for the new FY. Submitting an EOI now is too early, I would say.

There is no such thing as too early to lodge an EOI. You can just choose a random state for now and amend the state later in once they start opening up.

Hello po. I have lodge EOI visa 189 pero na tick ko din yun 190 in one application. Tama po ba yun? Or need separate EOI for 189 and 190? Thanks in advance for your reply po.

I don't know if pwede nga bang i-tick both in a single EOI since both PR naman. But I think it's most strategic to separate since 190 is a state-nominated visa and 189 isn't. So their invitations are issued differently. For 190, states ang nagi-invite based on their own criteria, and each state na target mo might have specific requirements (see above ^ quote). For 189, DHA na mismo ang nagro-roll out ng invites since 'di tied ang 189 to a specific state.

You can tick 189 as well, that’s fine. What you shouldn’t do is tick multiple states in an EOI.

Thanks Mam @RheaMARN1171933 for the response.
So ita-tag ko lang ung part-time work ko as NO (under Related Employment) dito sa EOI, right?

Ang dependents lang na pwede ay partner/children. Hindi parents.

Yes, pwedeng pwede :) More chances of winning! Basta parehas rin kayong may English test. Hehe. Kasi required both the English test and the Skills Assessment sa EOI for the primary applicant.

Abbreviate mo na lang. That's what I did. DHA will refer to the docs you will submit in the end.

Circumstance must be at time of invite. Hence it won’t work if you intend to do that. Could be grounds for visa refusal. Don’t even risk it.

Hi po, asking for a friend.

Eto po ba ang usual steps for Medical Radiographer Application to Aus?

    1. English Test - PTE/IELTS
    2. Skills Assessment - ASMIRT
    3. Professional Registration - APHRA
    4. Apply EOI
    5. Apply for Visa once invited

    My other questions:

    1. At which stage do we start APHRA? Is it while ASMIRT assessment is on-going as they are separate assessing bodies?
    2. Is Professional exam for radiographer taken from overseas or onshore after arriving to Australia?

Happy to hear all of your experiences and insights.

    Thanks heaps!
