Ano yun? Indirectly telling na wrong grant? Or Pinapaalis?

In SG we are just a number.

So while waiting for grant may chance makatikim ng local school experience.

Bittersweet kasi since P1 triny na namin (lottery at by talino) di umubra. So sa P2 try uli, pero this time pinagbuti at tuition at install backlight na hehehehehe. Nakakuha na this May 2023.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts, ang lahat ng mga nandito sa Sg kasama n ako maybe ay tlgang nagarap maging PR dito, but we have exhausted our time and energy here to no avail . Sg may have other future plans na di kami kasama doon. It took me few years to accept that,my plans were to build a life here pero di nga nag succeed. All of our efforts now is to find that somewhere else, uprooted my plans here and will move on. Somehow we become more practical , thinking more for the kids and not my own ego. Build a better life for them out from the pressure built by my expectations - anyways at least in AU we are assured of what to expect and work on those parameters. I still like SG syempre and appreciative ako sa lahat ng tulong nya sa pamilya ko.
    Keep pressing on!

10 years kami sa SG, both with good job and company. But lumipat kami for our kid's security. Nakakakaba sa umpisa. But after a few months living here. Sa Sg may pera kami dahil both kami may work. Pero ung mental heath ko hindi maganda. We always work overtime kasi sa sami ng projects. Imagine a week goes by na di namin naeenjou kasi madalas pagod kami physically and mentally. Pagdatinf dito, asawko lang may work. Sakto lang ung kita niya for our weekly expenses, but u know what... Our hearts and soul are full. Happiness and contentment. And we even have a lot of time to do even on weekdays. And weekends.

To add pa. Ilang beses naakong na ospital dito. And ni singko wala akong nilabas. I did my CT scan and so many Xray and check ups. Kahit asawa ko nakapag full medical check up and my kid too.

Tagal na akong inde naka login dito. pero here goes my opinion. Almost 3 years ago we did our move from SG to AU. PR ako. but anak ko inde. so obvious yun benefit dahil sa family. So I will not go into that.

Pero these are the benefits na inde namen alam but only found out nun nag move na kame. I can say I can give these opinions kasi I stayed sa SG close to 14 years. 14 years umasa, lumuha at ni reject.
Then subsidised ang chilcare. Libre ang school sa bata, etc.
    2. Madaling magka sasakyan dito.
Pero I have never heard of an Australian citizen na nag give ng ng AU citizenship to become SG citizen. May mga kilala akong AU citizen na nasa SG ngayon for work pero inde nag give up. Mga expat sila. balang araw babalik din daw sila dito AU kasi nga may pension, libre ospital etc. So double benefit kasi makuha pa nila CPF nila dyan.
    6. Eto isa pa, in terms of investment kahit PR ka lang pede ka bumili ng rental property. Kapag PR ka sa SG if I am not wrong, isang HDB lang pede at may stamp duty pa yun. Pede condo pero malaki din yun tax to buy for succeeding properties. Dito upto sawa kun may pera ka. may kilala akong ex SG citizen 7 na investment properties nya dito.
    7. Work life balance here is the best! nakapag pintura ako ng buong bahay namen while bayad sa oras. shhh...
Ano kaya reply sayo. Dito no questions ask kapag family
Doesn't matter kun cleaner ka o ano man. walang work dito na "LANG".
    10. affectionate sila dito lalo kun may pinagdadaanan ka. minsan to a fault na. Based sa real experience to. Nakunan si misis sa SG noon. yun OB na nag deliver ng news sa amen walang ke palalabok direct to the point "baby is dead". Mas concern pa na tinigyawat si misis at sinabi too bad why you have so many pimples. diba nakaka bwisit. Tanda ko sa Sg noon nun lumabas kame ng clinic sa counter that will be 260 dollars. tapos habang nakaupo sa bench may lumapit na inusrance agent inaalok pa kame ng insurance for next baby try daw. taragis gusto ko ihagis yun leaflet sa kanya na may pinagdadaanan kame diba.
Big deal gn Christmas season dito unlike sa SG na parang just another day. CNY ang big deal dyan. Madameng catholics dito kun catholic ka.
    13. Maganda ang nature scene dito. napaka sarap mag road trip.

CON ng AU compare to SG
    1. Mas madaling umuwi sa pinas
Dito need mo isasakyan halos lahat
    4. mas inde nosebleed ang english sa SG. can can, dont play play uubra na. dito mapapa can i please get some Wataaah (water).
    6. Mas maganda airport ng Sg ng milya milya. hahaha. Compare ko na to sa Sydney ha where we are right now
So ako nag karpintero na, nag pintura, etc.

Kalimitan naman nun nag sasabi ng mas gusto nila SG is because they don't know the unknown, nasa comfort zone na or afraid to go back to square one.
So bawat tao e unique. You just have to take it with a grain of salt.Napakahaba na pala nito at nakalimutan ko nasa work pala ako. anyway Goodluck sa mga mag move o nagplaplan palang.pakidalhan nga ako ng hokkien mee.

more than a decade narin kami dito at ang sitwasyon namin ay di rin kami ma-PR PR, kaya nag-decide na kami to move on from SG. kahit kasi mahal na mahal namin siya, di naman namin maramdaman ang pagmamahal niya. ginagawa din namin ito para talaga sa future po ng anak namin and for our future retirement plan as well. napaka-insightful sir ng sinulat niyo at eto na yata ang pinaka-detailed na experience na nabasa ko so far dito sa forum. buti po at naisipan niyo ulet mag-login dito. nakaka-excite tuloy lalo mag-big move na jan. salamat po sa pag-share.

    MY ROAD TO AUSTRALIAN PR

Nominated Occupation: Architectural Draftsperson - ANZSCO 312111 (Offshore)

    2020

Jan 20: Since I’m DIYing it, I started researching and learning the whole process.
Feb 22: VETASSESS – I started gathering all required documents.
Apr 25: VETASSESS – I finished gathering all my documents. I created my account and started filling up the Skills Assessment for General Occupation Application.
Apr 29: VETASSESS – I double-checked my documents. I started uploading the required documents. I decided not to include my first work in the Philippines because I don’t have payment evidence of it. I didn’t include my 1st work in Singapore as well because I don’t have a Certificate of Employment from that job.
Apr 30: VETASSESS – I double-checked my documents for the last time.
May 01: VETASSESS – I successfully submitted my online assessment for Architectural Draftsperson. Total amount paid is AUD$ 880 (SGD$ 842.66) Crossing my fingers that the outcome will be positive.
May 05: VETASSESS – My application status was lodged.
Jul 12: VETASSESS – After 11 weeks, the results came out and it was Positive. Number of years assessed positively was 9.63 which is equivalent to 15 points in EOI.
Jul 25: IELTS – I finally booked my IELTS Computer-delivered Test for SGD$ 365. My test date was Aug 16, 2020.
Aug 16: IELTS – It was my test day. Speaking, Listening, Reading, and Writing were all taken on this day.
Aug 21: IELTS – My test results came out. L: 9.0 R: 7.5 W: 7.0 S: 7.5 which is Proficient English. It is equivalent to 10 points in EOI.
Aug 22: EOI – I finally submitted my Expression of Interest (EOI) in SkillSelect for NSW Visa 190.

    My points breakdown:
    Age: 25
    English Language Ability: 10
    Education: 15
    State Nomination: 5
    Years of Experience: 15
    Total: 70 points

*Invitation rounds for NSW nomination under the Skilled Nominated visa (subclass 190) are currently closed. I’m expecting that this may take a while because of the pandemic and the current situation in Australia. I just have to wait for the federal government’s advice on when it will open again.

    2022

Jul 5: IELTS – Since my IELTS exam result was expiring on Aug 16, 2022, I booked my 2nd IELTS Computer-delivered Test for SGD$ 378. My test date was on Jul 17, 2022. I didn’t know at that time that Australia is accepting its validity for 3 years. But I was able to use it as well for my Canada PR application.
Jul 17: IELTS – It was my test day. Speaking, Listening, Reading, and Writing were all taken on this day.
Jul 20: IELTS – My test results came out. L: 8.0 R: 9.0 W: 7.0 S: 7.5 which is Proficient English. It is equivalent to 10 points in EOI.
Jul 25: EOI – I received a notice that my EOI is expiring on August 23, 2022, so I had to resubmit it.
Aug 23: EOI – My Expression of Interest (EOI) in SkillSelect expired after 2 years.
Aug 25: EOI – I submitted my new Expression of Interest (EOI) in SkillSelect.

    My points breakdown:
    Age: 25
    English Language Ability: 10
    Education: 15
    State Nomination: 5
    Years of Experience: 15
    Total: 70 points

*Invitation rounds for NSW nominations under the Skilled Nominated visa (subclass 190) were still closed. It’s expected to open in November 2022. I hope I get invited before my birthday because I will lose points during an age milestone on December.

Sep 09: EOI – After a long wait, NSW’s Skilled Visa Nomination Program finally opened. However, my skill points for my nominated occupation didn’t meet the minimum points required which is 90. I only had 70 points. I updated my EOI and changed my preferred state to Victoria, which only requires a minimum of 65 points. I then created an account in the Live In Melbourne portal and submitted my Registration of Interest (ROI).

Dec XX: EOI – My points went down to 60 points due to an age milestone and I am now not qualified for at EOI in the Australian Skillselect. My only hope is to get higher points in my English exam to get back in the pool. I withdrew my EOI and ROI in Victoria.
    Dec19: – I booked my PTE English Test for USD$ 260 (SGD$ 367.11). My exam date was on Dec 30, 2022.
Dec 30: PTE – I took the PTE Academic English Test. My test results came out the same day: L: 84 R:84 S: 90 W: 75. I didn’t get the scores that I needed to achieve Superior English.

Jan 10: EOI – I lodged my EOI for NSW Visa 190 and was able to reach 70 points again to qualify for an invitation. By this time, the minimum points for all occupations were already removed by NSW.
Jan 12: PTE – Booked my wife’s PTE English Test for USD$ 291.60 (SGD$ 401.85). Her exam date was on Jan 20, 2023.
Jan 20: PTE – It was my wife’s test day. The results came out on the same day. She got a Competent English result which is additional 5 points on my EOI for Partner’s Qualifications (English).

more than a decade narin kami dito at ang sitwasyon namin ay di rin kami ma-PR PR, kaya nag-decide na kami to move on from SG. kahit kasi mahal na mahal namin siya, di naman namin maramdaman ang pagmamahal niya. ginagawa din namin ito para talaga sa future po ng anak namin and for our future retirement plan as well. napaka-insightful sir ng sinulat niyo at eto na yata ang pinaka-detailed na experience na nabasa ko so far dito sa forum. buti po at naisipan niyo ulet mag-login dito. nakaka-excite tuloy lalo mag-big move na jan. salamat po sa pag-share.

I feel like the need to answer kasi alam ko yun feeling na hesitant dahil pinagdaanan namen dati yan. Sugal tlga. Lalo na nun time namen middle of the pandemic, whole family, no place to live, no work, less jobs ads kasi pandemic. haha. fight lang.

Kabado at umaasa kada bubuksan ang mahiwagang letter ng ICA only to read "We regret to inform blah blah....". Ni walang dahilan. Parang sa movie lang I deserve an explanation. hahaha

Sa SG noon, kahit PR kame the most na pede sponsor ang parents is 3 months. You can try to exit but too risky (based sa experience to). At kapag bumalik yun visitor mo within the same year after ng 3 months nya may chance ma question. Sa AU, 1 year visa pede ma grant. Then pedeng may multiple entry na option for 3 years. pedeng 1 year straight then exit ng 6 months then 1 year again.
Punta ICA to register then punta PH embassy for passport then balik ICA for extension ng visitor visa kasi d aabot yun passport. Medyo dyahe lang sana ibigay na lang ng SG govt kahit 3 months man lang as if naman mag TNT yun anak mo at mag work. hehe.
    3. HDB is 99 years lease.

    5. May time diff sa pinas ang AU, SG wala (sa sydney 2hrs or 3 hrs advance depending sa Daylight savings)
    6. kapag DnD, sa Sg uso yun may pa raffle at masarap mga food. dito usually inuman lang at onting pika pika. wala tlgang food. heheh. at walang raffle. sayang..

    Groceries/Food
same lang saken to kasi may mura dito na mahal dyan and vice versa

Or need to take exam pa ulet..

Backread kaunti.

Noted po, na read ko na din po, ang question po is, is it valid pa din ang SG license once ma cancel na ang work pass, di tulad ng PR po even na pumunta sa AU is PR pa rin po..

Pwede pa din ba syang convert sa AU license just to bring the booklet you completed the lessons and exam?

based on my exp only, valid pa din ung SG driver's licence, direct conversion lang punta ka sa service centre. pinakita ko lang ung id mismo.

    Salamat Sir :-)
