Hi everyone. Bago po ako dito. Plano ko po sana mag apply for Visa 189 under ng "Economist" skilled occupation. Aside sa fulltime work ko po as Assistant Professor, meron din po akong consulting work with local government units at international organizations.
What if employed ako sa university ng January 2021 to December 2021, then, meron din po akong consultancy from July 2021 to December 2021 na fulltime rin (at least 20 hours per week)? Paano po yung counting pag the same ang months? Per position or job po ba yung counting kahit na parehas ang dates?
Sana po matulungan niyo ako
Maraming Salamat Po!

One more question po, sana po may maka help.
Yung SOS na na-provide ng isa sa past employers ko only listed yung job responsibilities ko sa latest team/workstream na sinupport ko and failed to indicate my duties sa first team/workstream. Meanwhile, in my CV, I indicated in more detail and better wording yung mga ginawa ko in all of the teams I supported.
Mafa-flag po kaya yan as inconsistency and would have a negative effect on my assessment or do you think it's okay to proceed na? All other relevant information is stated properly naman sa SOS and may supporting employment documents din.
Need ko pa po kaya ipa ulit sa HR yung SOS? The problem with this lang ay yung dating ko naging managers sa other team have left the company na and they would not be able to validate my duties tulad ng ginawa ng HR personnel dun sa latest team/job duties ko before mag leave ng company.

To my knowledge, yes. Nakalagay naman na employer (HR ang representative ng employer when it comes to employee-company contact like VETASSESS)/manager/supervisor. My agent did the same thing with my application.

CONFUSED WITH 'EMPLOYER'
Hello po. I am having a hard time identifying which one would I put as my employer in one of my previous jobs, sa employment details ng VETASSESS application.
For simplicity, will use the following codes po:
C1 = country 1
C2 = country 2
Comp A = company A
Comp B = company B
Comp C = company C
Comp A - based in C1, recruiter, looks for clients for me, organizes interviews etc.
Comp B - based in C2, third party of Comp A, handles employment contracts for Comp A but is not the ‘employer in contract’, handles payment invoices for client etc
Comp C - based in PH, third party of Comp B, handles payroll and PH govt benefits, the ‘employer in contract’ and signatory of my SOS
Client - company served and specific entity where job responsibilities are performed, specified din ito sa contract. The client is industry specific and is relevant sa nominated occupation ko po.
Now, I am confused if I should put the client as my employer since ito din talaga ung nilalagay ko sa CV (with disclaimer na it’s through comp A or comp C) or shall I put comp C since it is the one na nag provide and naka sign sa SOS ko?
Btw my SOS from comp C states that “I worked for client XXX for the period of etc etc and performed the following duties etc etc”.
What do you think po? Salamat po sa makaka help sa confusion ko. 🙏🏻

Whoever appears in your payslip and tax certificate would normally be the one considered as your employer.

By definition, 2316 is not the Tax Return. That's Form 1700
But for evidence purposes, pwede na ang 2316 kasi it is the result of your 1700 filing. And usually, 2316 yung bumabalik satin from the employer. Hindi na natin nakikita talaga yung 1700.
La lang, just sharing, sabi ni Kuya Kim hahahaha.

For my SOS, i did it by company. So there was an employment in one of the company that i have to write position A - promoted to position B - then promoted to position C.
All with different timelines, and with stated job descriptions. Position A is slightly off with what i was trying to get assessed based on ANZCO code but i did some narrative to prove na i was having a stretched role. For vetassess, they assessed the entire 10yrs as positive and related.

I think there is confusion of terminologies used here. ITR’s could be forms 1700, 1701 and 1701A. These are all filed by individuals to declare all sources of income.
2316 is an official tax document to prove tax withheld for compensation payment. This is filed by the employer and could also serve as the employee’s ITR (if no other source of income to declare).
If one goes through the VETASSES guidelines in further detail, It is actually asking for employment pay evidence. This could be in the form of official government tax records showing payment summaries containing wining the employer and employee’s details. Hence the reason why 2316 is the sensible form to use…but to say ITR and 2316 are the same can be subject to different interpretations depending on an individual’s circumstance.

Hi guys. I just want to check if anyone here knows whether a skills assessment is required for Visa 494? I checked this list, and 494 is not here: https://immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/visas/working-in-australia/skills-assessment
The actual Employer Sponsored Stream page is quite vague in this part as well: https://immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/visas/getting-a-visa/visa-listing/skilled-employer-sponsored-regional-494/employer-sponsored-stream
My occupation is ICT Sales Representative. I just want to make sure it's required before I pay for the Vetassess Assessment (medyo mahal kasi). Thank you so much for any help you can provide!

Not required. If you have one then provide it. Just write a cover letter when you lodge your application that you’ve got no PRC so they don’t have to chase you. Thus document will only come in handy if your qualification is not from a section listed institution.

Baka po may maka help. Nag search ako sa vetassess for cardiac tech.
