The simpler the better, just say you have working rights - this is true, you are not lying.
Most employers or recruiters have no idea of different visa status/types.
This is for CV.

Structural Engineer sya pero sa Bridges/Infra sya. Mas in demand kasi ang bridges at infra sa Australia. Same occupation kami pero sa Buildings ako. kaya medyo kabado ako magmove kasi puro rejections naman apply ko and hindi as in demand yung buildings and structures.

In all seriousness though, mas marami kasi talaga yung hindi namamansin sa mga offshore kahit may visa na. And despite that, somehow, hindi naman ako nangangamba na hindi makahanap ng work once we moved onshore. Kasi nakikita ko naman na meron at merong job posting.

Kayang kaya yan. Nakaka frustrate lang talaga minsan ang pagaapply na wala ka rin naman nakukuhang kahit anong form of feedback. Lol.

Sabihin mo lang may full working rights ka. Mga employer dito 2 lang alam, PR/Citizen and not citizen so pasimplehin mo buhay nila by telling them what they need. Magkakaroon ka rin ng bias dyan pag nalaman nila na 491 ka and not yet PR so don't give yourself a disadvantage sa ibang applicants.

Gusto kasi nila dito start agad, like Interview mo Monday start ka na agad next week. Tatawagan ka nila the next day after mo magsubmit ng CV pag interested sila so best thing talaga is come to Oz muna then apply. Disappointment lang mostly pag onshore applications haha

Hello! On the same boat! I submitted it 2 weeks ahead of you though (May 22). Tumawag ako kahapon (29/07) sa medicare to follow up. Sabi nila nasa May 17-18 na yung pina-process nila. May backlogs nga daw sila. They gave me at least a month daw to expect yung arrival ng medicare card. You may use that as a reference din sguro.

Make na you have attached the docs needed rin.

Question po ulit. Sa mga mag big move from PH to AU under visa 189/190, required po ba kumuha ng CFO? Ano pa po hinihingi ni PH immigration aside sa passport at visa grant letter?

Nag enroll ako June10, then itinawag ko by July21, yung operator na nakausap ko sabi naka queue pa yung application ko, pero inenroll nya ko during call, medyo matagal nga lang inabot lagpas 1 hr, tyaga tyaga lang. Binigyan ako digital card/Medicare number. Kanina pagcheck ko mailbox andito na un physical card.

Hello guys! Congratulations sa mga ngrant recently!

We just received our Visa 190 and mag BM kami next year March 2024.

Nasa Singapore kami currently ng partner ko for work. Uwi ng pinas by the end of this year and from there punta na kami ng Melbourne for first entry.

May I ask guys other than the Grant letter and Passport, do we need to have PDOS/CFO?

For those na nag-BM po na pregnant or with child, can you share your experiences like nakapagwork pa rin po ba kayo kahit pregnant (full time or part time), paano po yung medicare coverage, sobrang hirap din po ba pag 1 lang po nagwowork for the family?

Hi po! June 3 po ako nag enroll pero hanggang ngayon wala pa din. Triny ko tumawag walang makasagot na operator, naka waiting ako halos 30 mins na. Saang number ka po tumawag? Ito po tinawagan ko 132 011

Yan din po ba tinawagan nyo?

Uyyyyy. Sobrang helpful neto! Tinawagan ko agad Medicare pagkabasa ko. And true enough, binigay na sa kin Medicare No. ko and ni-link na rin ako sa MyGov para ma-access yung digital card.

Mas okay talaga silang tawagan outside office hours. Kesa nung nakaraan na matagal yung queue. Since 24/7 naman customer service nila, tawag kayo ng mga alanganing oras. Hehe.

Sabi sa kin, 3 weeks daw lead time before ma-send physical card. Pero baka mareceive rin earlier than expected.

Nag try ako tumawag ng outside business hours. May sumagot naman pero di ako nabigyan ng medicare number kasi daw hindi pa daw in process yung June applications. Sinabi ko bakit yung iba meron na based sa nabasa ko sa forum tapos sabi lang niya iba2x daw situation. Try ko na lang daw tumawag ng business hours. Nakakalito hehe

Ako lang ba o based na on your location (IP address) yung job search result ng LinkedIn? I noticed this in the past 2 wks. Thought it was just a system glitch. Pero wala na yung mga dati kong nakikita na search results for Australia kahit explicitly ilagay na AU location sa search. Lahat Singapore postings na lang.

I even tried using VPN. Nothing. Is LinkedIn broken, or something?
