191 PR Visa Application Question

@haringkingking Medyo anxious nga rin ako about sa 191 visa kahit waiting pa rin ako ng visa grant for 491. Same region din tayo, SA din ang nagnominate sa kin for 491. Hoping na magrant na rin kami at hope to see you there. All the best!

Ano po pag kakaiba ng 190 s 191? 🤔 ang pag kakaintindi ko kasi s 190 ung state n naginvite sayo dun k lng magwowork ng 2years. Tpos pwede kn lumipat ng state after. Salamat

190 is state sponsored, 191 is the visa you apply for after spending 3 yrs sa 491/494. Di jka pwede mag apply directly sa 191.

Up lang sa thread na to, marami na nagpopost sa fb groups ng 191 grants nila the past few days. Iba iba ang lodgements, Dec-Mar. Alam kong super onti palang ng maglolodge ng 191 dito pero let's keep each other posted, I'm lodging mine 1st week Oct

So eto ang latest chika sa 191 application ko, mga marites! charot hehe

I lodged my 191 visa last March, and by Aug 14 I received an email from Immigration for s56 Request for more information. They were asking for new Australian Police Check for my wrongly spelled name! When I checked my name sa immi account ko, hala biglang nag iba nga yung name ko. So I created cover letter explaining about my wrongly spelled name and attached evidence like passport, 191 Visa Acknowledgement Application, Immi Grant Notice, indicating my full and correct name. Until now waiting pa ako sa response nila. But Im still wondering bakit nag iba spelling ng name ko. Does anyone encounter the same issue sa Immi account nila?

And also Im based here in Darwin, NT working as Data Analyst. Lipat na kayo dito oks ang sahod lalo na pag IT and contractual position

That's weird, probably a glitch? Never heard of this issue before pero you seem to be able to prove na everything else has your correct name so it should be ok. Keep us posted!

and by the way, sino dito na 491 visa holder ang nadagdagan ng 3 years as visa extension?

Yung sakin kasi granted march 2020 and up until March 2025. Pero I received an email last year August that my visa will be valid until March 2028. Maybe they are already aware that 191 visa approval (as pathway ng 491) will take time to be processed kaya they added another 3 years (?). Pero wag naman sana abutin ng 2028 yung 191 application ko.

Mabilis ang approval ng 191 since inannounce na wala nang income reqt. From fb groups, may naglodge 191 application ng July 10 and na grant today. People who lodged from Dec 2022 onwards nagrant over the last month, mabilis nahahabol ng immi ang backlog.

Hi Tanong ko lng po: if 491 visa ako (main applicant), and ung dependents ko (husband and son) Ay 491 visa din, kelangn ba main applicant ung May job for 3 years para mag apply ng 191 after or pwede na si husband (dependent) ung mag apply ng 191 visa after 3 years na May job cya. Take note past 45 yrs old na cya. Waiting plng kame ng visa grant. Just curious pra mka strategize kung kaya in case Isa lng samin ang makahanap ng job sa aussie. Thank you

As far as I know, either of you can be the main applicant, though it wouldn't hurt to have both of you declare income for 3 years. Wala din naman na yung minimum income requirement.

As far as I know, either of you can be the main applicant, though it wouldn't hurt to have both of you declare income for 3 years. Wala din naman na yung minimum income requirement.

less than 1 month mga nagpopost sa fb, 21 days lang from lodge to grant. Si DD20 kasi nagkaroon ng request sa updated name sa police clearance kaya may further delay. Parang sa nakikita ko pag nagkaroon ng CO contact, after 1 month yung feedback nila na grant

Eto yung timeline sakin from the start:

20 Feb 2020 - 491 Granted
13 March 2020 - Arrived in Darwin, NT. Never move to other state.
13 March 2023 - Applied 191 Visa
11 August 2023 - Revieved s56 for AFP check regarding my misspelled name. I rectify it asap like FOI, submit evidence of correct name etc
12 Sept 2023 - recieved another s56 for AFP check but this time with my correct name spelling. I submitted it the next day.
13 October 2023 - 191 visa granted!

Sa wakas!!! Tapos na ang hintay haha next year citizenship naman. Check nyo nalang signature ko sa entire timeline sa lahat ng steps ko sa Australian visa game LOL all the best sa future applicants!

I think need pa din ng ATO Assessment for the past 3 years tho they removed na yung initial salary threshold na 55k annually, as long as you can submit 3 ATO assessments.
