Ano po ba best move while waiting sa grant then nalaman na pregnant si wife? Inform DHA, yes. But how and when po kaya best time to inform so as not to delay po yung possible grant? Lets say 5 months pregnant na po ba or yung hindi na sya allowed mag travel?

If kumpleto niyo na lahat ng requirements ni DHA and you're just really waiting for the grant, then you can only inform them of your change in circumstance. I'm not sure if they can hasten or delay your application due to this change (I'm leaning towards them still assessing at their own pace, but that's a personal opinion). At this point you can hope for 2 results:

1) Get granted soon and have the baby in Au. Instant Au citizen si baby.
2) Grant gets significantly delayed that the baby gets delivered in Ph (if andito ka sa Pinas), you are able to add them in your application, and the grant will include them as well.

Absolute worst case will be for the grant to arrive before delivery outside of Au, as this will require you to apply a child visa for the baby for them to be able to come with you.

To provide some reference, we got invited last 6 Oct 2022, then found out wife was pregnant 2 weeks after invite. We agreed to delay our medical exam until after our baby's delivery to ensure that she will be included in our application. Only difference with your case is that this option was available to us at the time; not sure about yours.

Hi everyone!

Just to ask for info.
My husband's student visa will expire in 2025, waiting for 189 grant.
He needs to travel to Phils. Need ba nya mag.apply for Bridging Visa B or hindi na since valid pa naman SV nya to return to AU?

If valid pa po yung student visa nya, no need to apply for BVB. Maactivate lang ang BV kapag nagexpire yung substantive visa (which is yung Student Visa).

Just received the commencement email from IMMI. Dec 2022 lodgment, visa 190 VIC (onshore).

Hello, question lang para sa mga nakaka-alam, itong commencement email ba natatanggap before or after ma-CO contact? Naka agent kasi kami so di na kami na update if meron na ba kami nito pero na CO contact na kami last April. Nov 2022 kami nag lodge.

Usually before. Commencement means sinimulan na iprocess application mo. If may CO contact ka na, nastart na iprocess iyo. Very inconsistent ang pagassign nila ng status eh, minsan may commencement, minsan straight to finalised.

Pwede po mgtanong regarding sa health clearance? Ok lang malaman if may medical condition si main applicant or any reason why ngtagal ung clearance ng sknya?
Until now kasi ay hindi pa cleared ang medical ko (with heart condition), while ung si main applicant is cleared na last March 3, 2023.

Hi may update po ba sa inyo? I also have a congenital heart disease (BAV) and di ko pa need ng surgery but i have moderate aortic stenosis. all else are normal. mag aapply pa lang ako pero worried na it will affect my application. ano din pala agency nyo?

Hello. Depende siguro so heart condition pero na clear naman ung akin, no follow-up actions required. I have a congenital heart condition na treated, then taking lieftime medications. Honestly I was expecting na ma rerequire ako ng series of test pero yun di naman. Although probably, I will be required to sign a health undertaking if i-grant nila ung visa.

Alam ko pwede, as long as merong positive assessment for each ANZSCO code. Magkahiwalay na EOI din ang isusubmit in that case. Not sure lang kung feasible.

Hi, anyone else na CO Contact/S56 asking to provide Form 1229 (Consent to grant an Australian visa to a child under the age of 18 years) despite both parents migrating with their child and being part of the application? Medyo naweirduhan lang kami, hehe. I've asked around, some frontloaded, some hinde pero di naman hinanapan, sabi kasi it's for non-accompanying parent. We are going to submit anyway.

Hello po, we frontloaded it po since we applied with kids po, its just a consent po na you included them with your application. :-)
