Hi! As per vetassess website, my occupation needs 1yr of work experience. I have 1yr and 8months of paid experience. I'm aware that vetassess deducts 1yr work exp in their outcomes. Does that mean that I am not eligible to achieve a positive outcome since if they deduct 1yr, my work experience will only be 8months?

You meet the minimum requirement if 1 year is required. It just means you can’t claim points in work experience

Hello po, may naka experience po dito na may feedback na 'outstanding documentation' from Vetassess? Di ba po it means na may officer na nag attend sa application the fact na na view na documents?
Mga how long po from the time you submitted the missing document until you got your assessment result?

I don't think you need to wait since VETASSESS would still deduct the same number of years from the starting point of the employment you are having assessed.

Hello! may i know why theyre deducting years? i currently have 1.6 years under 224712, so meaning ba neto mababawasan into 0?

In my case before parang less than a month, nagka result na after being contacted by an officer. It could vary though depending on each applicant.

I think it's standard. It's considered the time needed for you to be considered "skilled" since technically you won't have expertise naman as soon as you start a job.

Hi! Just want to ask kung meron ng may ganitong experience. If you’re applying for a 494 visa, does the number of years assessed as positive by Vetassess matter in terms of the visa approval? I was assessed positively for 0.79 years only. Thank you!

That doesn't matter - visa approvals are granted on the basis of accurate docs. If nafulfill mo ng maayos ang docs needed for the visa, maggrant yan.

    1. May naka experience ba d2 na nag file ng separate EOIs for 2 different skills assessments VETASSESS and ACS pwede kaya? Anong result?

Thanks in advanced sa sasagot!

I don't think you need to wait since VETASSESS would still deduct the same number of years from the starting point of the employment you are having assessed.

Hello! may i know why theyre deducting years? i currently have 1.6 years under 224712, so meaning ba neto mababawasan into 0?

I think it's standard. It's considered the time needed for you to be considered "skilled" since technically you won't have expertise naman as soon as you start a job.

ganon po ba. so yung 1.6 years ko possible maging 0 :(

Unfortunately, yes. Same thing happened to me. I had 3 years, pagkalabas ng assessment, 0. Hehe. But if you have the capacity, pwede ring bawiin in other points areas, for example by taking NAATI (costly but if you pass you get +5).

so how much points nyo po total? and kumusta application? nako mahal pala nung NAATI :(

Have details in my signature 😊 My total points were 80 + 5 (points for state nomination invite). I took NAATI as I had an all-or-nothing mindset throughout the process, and I wasn't too confident with my profile.

    Background:
I'm a BSIT graduate in Section 3 school, and I have 10+ years experience in ACN.
6+ years from that was as an Application Support (Jul 2012 to Jan 2019)
4+ years from that is currently as a Quality Auditor (Feb 2019 to present)

I am planning to take VETASSESS once I reached 6 years of experience. ANZSCO Code: 224712

    Questions:
    1. Would you advice to take VETASSESS once I reached 6 years of experience because my current job description is not aligned to relevant study? Why yes or no?

Thank you so much! This gives me hope. ❤️

No, not priority. It’s on the Short Term Skilled Occupation List. I just got really lucky dahil sumakto ako sa post-pandemic na pagbukas ulit ng migration ng AU. Invites were given to as low as 65 points last FY.

Hello po, sana po may makatulong sa case ng husband ko.
Naguguluhan lang po kami, ano po ba dapat, "Country of origin" or "Country of current residence" ung Statutory Declaration/Affidavit?

Kasi lahat ng ung supporting documents namin for Statutory Declaration/Affidavit ay uploaded with cover letter pa nga. Then pati ung PRC saka Bank statements na uploaded din naman namin ay nirerequest din nila ngayon.

Sana po may makatulong, thank you in advance po.

Si VETASSESS naman ang magsasabi if related yung other drafting experience mo sa inonominate mo na occupation. You'll be required to provide details of all your work in the last 10 years din naman.
