nope. kung manggagaling ka sa SG. pero kung sa Pinas ka magmumula, baka hanapan ka nila ng PDOS and/or CFO cert.

Any 491 holders who have received their Medicard already? I called their hotline and even went to the nearest office and both said nasa August applications pa lang ang nasa queue nila. We applied on Oct 27

@Hunter_08 hi sir kamusta po ask ko lng po kc lapag namen oz dec 26 on d 1st day po ba pwede na mag apply online ng TFN at Medicare 3 weeks lng po kc kami sa oz para di masayang po ung days na andun kami hehe salamat po sa ma aadvice 😊

As long as you can provide a mobile number and address, you can apply na on your 1st day

Hello everyone. I will have my BM next year as I have my 189 visa na. Advisable ba na eh pre-terminate ang sunlife insurance (paying for 5 years already) and PAG-IBIG contribution? I also have my MP-2 savings.

Anong Globe plan po yung ok na iconvert while living in Au as part of BM? May mga OTP pa kasi ako sa mga persona accounts.

I'd say it depends on your needs, especially when it comes to your insurance (and I'm assuming VUL ito). If you're keeping it as a form of investment I think much better to terminate it kasi 'di talaga siya tutubo that way, but if you'd like a backup insurance for your family it might be worth keeping—you can keep the insurance part going by paying less than your due premiums. This is how I maintain mine. If matino yung contact/advisor mo, try asking them if this is possible. yup pwede ka na agad mag apply ng TFN at medicare on your first day.

Ours were prepaid, automatic roaming naman po pagdating dito sa Au, you just need to fix some settings. Better visit a globe branch to guide you better on your postpaid plan.

Regarding po sa paghanap ng rental properties na wala pang onshore records at first time sa AU ( even without work ).

1.) Ano po ang common na timeline sa paghanap ng whole house? Most likely outside CBD po..

2.) I read that some are lucky enough to secure unit within 2 weeks, nag airbnb po ba kayo or service apartment?

3.) Kamusta po ang online inspection kung nasa overseas pa po? May chance po bang maka secure ng unit?

4.) How is your mode of payment if na approve po pag overseas since wala pang bank account? Pwede po ba help a friend muna? :-)

5.) What are docs requirements pag overseas? Passport, (need po ba visa?) and heard po need CV as well? :-)

May nabasa rin ako dito, forgot who asked the same question and answered, pero they mentioned na if hingin ng IO just say it’s your first entry so wala pang address.

I also think you can give your hotel/accommodation address naman.

Oo super bilis lang nya. Kaninang 7am nagbook ako ng slot for PDOS, naschedule ako ng 9AM webinar. Tapos after lunch confirmed na yung registration and nagpafill up lang ng form. After magbayad, nasa akin na agad yung certificate!

Parang PDOS nalang last step. Pagkakuha ko ng grant, kuha ng PDOS, then pwede na pumunta ng AU.

Hi all, dun sa CFO registration may question about relationship to the petitioner. If I am the main applicant, ano isasagot ko dun sa registration ko? I tried leaving it blank pero kailangan ng answer. Our visa is 190 if that helps.

May mga van type na taxi but you have to book in advance. May UberXL din.

Thanks! I booked my flight via Qantas. Kaya lang yung additional checkin baggage will have to be bought twice - mnl > syd, then syd > adl. I dont think the 30kg allowance would be enough since I am thinking of bringing na din some fall/winter clothes para di ko na bilhin pa.

Yun sa Singapore Airlines ba ganun din?

Qantas updated my flight and I am considering getting a refund if may mas affordable na additional checkin allowance. Any advise? I dont remember if I had to pay additional checkin allowance per layover. TIA!

Question lng po mag IE po kc kami sa Oz ng 3 Weeks need po ba kumuha ng private health insurance at travel insurance n rin since wala pa kami medicare at dun p lng po aayusin pagdating baka kc in case lng my emergency at my toddler po kami kasama din.
Anu po ok na insurance for short stay lng in oz.
