For example Dati wala kang Naati, ngaun meron na. then for update na ung EOI mo.

For example Dati wala kang Naati, ngaun meron na. then for update na ung EOI mo

Date of initial submission will not change , yung pangalawang row will change - date last submitted will change for any reason na you updated the file.

I see.

Kasi specific to the states ang criteria for judging, lol.

    hahaha ganun pala un.

parang ms universe. my criteria for judging. hahaha

Pero technically. mas maganda kung maguupdate ka kung may iuupdate ka tlga para di kana bumalik sa pila. kasi kung meron naman tlga ung bracket mo is tataas (85-90 for example) atleast back to zero ka from 90 hindi na 85.

Thank you sir sa clarifications. Isa kang tunay! Cheeers!

Tips? Laban lang. Pinaka simple na mabibigay ko. :D

Try adding recruiters and employees of the companies that you like in LinkedIn. Pakilala kayo, show your credentials. Message them. So, kung may extra kayo, avail it, that could go a long way para mapansin ang profiles nyo. I cancelled mine after landing a job. :D

Tailor your CVs to the simplest and most concise form --- highlight your achievements and hard skills (kung sa ICT, edi yung mga alam nyong tech stack. Kung eng'g naman, edi yung projects nyo), write your past job roles with clarity matching the job that you are eyeing for, and do not add a photo of yourself (please). Indicate nyo na rin yung visa nyo especially yung words na "Permanent Resident" (well applicable to PRs lang of course) para klaro at alam na agad na eligible kayo to work.

Pagdating naman sa interviews, just be yourself. You do you. Be confident, lalo't sarili mo naman credentials ang dala dala mo, but not to the point of overselling it. Medyo hindi rin maganda yun e. Dyan na papasok yung soft skills --- yan yung attitude, communication skills, how you carry yourself, vital statistics (chareng lang hahaha, but you get it), yada yada.

Lastly, may the odds be with you. I'd advise you to pray for it, manifest it. Claim it. :)

Thanks so much dito! Add ko lang din to for the thread, Nabasa ko din sa gc ng watsapp, na much better din daw magapply muna sa mga recruitment agency sa AU, sila na bahala maghanap ng work for you. parang pinas din if nagsisimula ka palang malaking tulong ang agency.

Yes, that's true as well. Uso dito ang contracting especially in ICT.

Like me now, I am a contractor in my current job. A consulting firm helped me land this job, pay for my super and taxes. They assigned me to another company to fill a role. Technically though, I'm not an employee of the consulting firm nor the assignment (company) given to me.

Pero merong cases na employee sila nung mismong consulting company or yung contracting company nila na tinatawag who give them assignments. So, they are entitled to leaves, and other benefits. But in my case, I'm not for both. I'm more on the individual contractor category. No work, no pay, ganon. :D

    Ayun, share ko lang. :)

Tips?

question - pag contractor ba may probationary period or regularization ganun? same ba sya sa pinas na may time frame pag contractual? ex: 1 year lang contract mo then hanap ulit work

So, need mo pa rin talaga pakitang gilas haha kahit walang official probation period.

They get job openings from companies, and after placing a candidate, they get a commission fee and your relationship with them ends as well. You become part of the company they recruited you for.

Consultancy firms on the other hand, give you assignments based on your skills. You are part of that firm, and assignments given to you are just temporary placements. They can assign or rotate you somewhere else.

Uso nga rin ang rolling contracts, or fixed-term contracts sa ICT, lalo na for project-based hires or backfills. Pero usually pansin ko this yields higher pay than what they call a โ€œpermanentโ€ role. Parang yung isang inapplyan ko (at โ€˜di nakuha) ay 800-850 AUD per day. Haha!

Haha!

Yup, since usually kasi ang mga contractors ay walang entitlements like leaves, and other benefits, they have higher rates talaga to compensate. :)

Palong palo na yung 800-850/day. Buhay na buhay kung single, even for couples.

DIY all the way. Avoid preachy, know-it-all, and unscrupulous agents AT ALL COSTS!

Your start and end dates were not exactly stated in your employment reference letter? I think it's fine to indicate 1st and/or 30th, nabasa ko yan somewhere sa ACS website before that in cases one couldn't provide exact dates, they will automatically assume the 30th something like that. Merong ganyang notes dati eh.

Anong assessing body mo pala? And what dates ginamit mo during asessment? It should be in sync with whatever you'll put in your eoi.

CPA Australia assessing body ko. actually parang nabasa ko un dito na parang pwede daw or hindi required for CPA Australia na magpaskilled employent agad. kaya parang skill assessment palang ung ginawa ko. then my agent told me (i dunno if he based my experience kasi technically accounting nan tlga background ko) na ideclare ko ung max points for worked experience ( 10yrs working na ako, puro accounting department)

Sa EOI you will provide yung exact dates of each employment episodes na dedeclare , may EOI na ba nilaunch si agent ?
Just make sure both concurrently or side by side tama yung mga details for you to claim the experience points once you get invited. Under employment references and sa skilled employment assessments eventually needs to match sa details your agent will input in your EOIs. In short , details should be consistent.
If any changes not reflected once you get invited - your EOI naman can't be altered afaik.

You need to update the details to coincide after you graduated to qualify yung yung deemed skilled date - if this date is not mentioned in skills assessment then you have to reference the employment claim after you completed the tertiary qualification (after graduation date ) technically that will count as 1 day after your graduation.
Does the assessing body for Accountants reflect the dates of employment in the the outcome letter (states the start and end dates ?) if not - you can follow the date after graduation for you to claim experience points.
This is especially required by NSW - they ask for the skilled employment assessment during the nomination application process so just ensure you have this as well.

You can try to watch the video referencing this requirement (Traci Migration) either YT or FB

Some member here were assessed by CPAA din. They'll be more suitable to advise in your case.

Just be careful with the info you/your agent will indicate in the eoi. Yung case ng grad date mo and first date of work medyo off. Personally I would avoid any mismatching details that skill select/DHA may notice.

Tips?

Haha!

Yup, since usually kasi ang mga contractors ay walang entitlements like leaves, and other benefits, they have higher rates talaga to compensate. :)

Palong palo na yung 800-850/day. Buhay na buhay kung single, even for couples.

Grabe 'yung 800-850/day, palong palo talaga! Parang FIFO role na :P Nice to hear you're doing well boss @_sebodemacho

Uy di ako yung may sahod na ganyan ha, hahahaha! Klaruhin ko lang. :D
