Parang last FY around 100pts yung mga invited na Accountants. Pero 90pts isn't bad jusko mataas na yan. Saka yun nga, hindi naman pataasan ng points ang labanan palagi especially for 190. May profile preferences bawat state. May gusto ng may skilled partner, merong may gusto ng superior english.

You can refer to this skillselect dashboard and gauge your chance. Makikita mo na dyan in detail anong profile ng mga accountants na invited.

Hey General Accountant skill code here. I remember may 90pts naman pong naivite for 190 so you shld definitely try (included na ung +5 state nomination sa 90).

I'm invited at 95 po pero, including NAATI (+5) and maxed out on English & work experience.

If may budget, try NAATI and even if you submit at 90 now, baka mag increase points din nyo over time as you become older (less than 32/33) and gain more relevant work experience.

If may partner, advisable na included or maybe create a separate EOI (? whichever works) dahil may states na priority ang may partner na Competent sa English or skilled partner regardless ang points, specifically VIC.

Once mag file na ng EOI, do we need to individually file for ROI on different states? TIA

Yes na ask na po yan in different occassions, in short and long form.
Short answer is EOIs can be done initially - as these are DHA specific
without lodging ROIs first which is specific to the state
Adding up:
While you can lodge ROIs once requirements are out and the state you intend to apply is ready to accept applications po (ROIs are usually tied to an EOI -referenced to the EOI No.) advisable to launch individual EOIs exclusively to a state para hindi hassle at hindi masayang efforts nyo.

Just search each state which requires ROIs.

EOI is mandatory by DHA while ROI depends on the state. Last fy only 2-3 states required it.

Currently waiting for nomination. (sana manominate na! Ask ko lang kung magkakaron po ba ng conflicts or problema if ever magresign ako sa current work ko and mag online work na lang instead muna? I already exceeded the maximum points for work experience declared sa EOI ko.

You have to read through the nomination criteria and eligibility of each state for this FY (yet to be posted I guess). May state na kelangan currently working ka as your nominated anzsco. Depende din yan sa mga pinagssubmit mong EOIs.

depende po sa state nomination kung marami2 mainvite na priority occupations, mauuna pa sa pila yun at malamang mababawas sa planning level this fy.

Opinion ko lang. Ideal situation yung scenario na sinabi nya. Meaning uubusin yung current month bago lumipat sa next, which is from what I observe is hindi realistic. Actual scenario is madami maiiwan from previous months then move on na sila to next (madami pa applications from Dec 2022 - Feb 2023 na recently lang nagagrant pero nasa March 2023 na sila). Ako hoping na the latter is the true situation para naman di tayo umabot sa next FY hahaha.

I think GM's analysis might be too pessimistic. It really depends on the state's priorities for needed skills. Some people say it's just the worst-case scenario. Let's hope and pray we get our grants this FY. Stay positive!

Hey thanks sa tanong na to
Nasa core group ako ni GM kaya the way he assume things is balance lang at hindi sya extremes - may estimated prio allocations into play at sequential yung granting.
Depende na lang tlg sa DHA at govt nila paano ang granting this FY - medyo iba naman sa actual dahil emphasize ngayon ang housing crisis- so gradual ang grants at controlled ang backlogs?

Yung processing na 90% - it means last 10% is out of timeline , so we have the last 10% to spill over sa mga bagong lodged to cover the quotas for this FY. ( retention)
Tapos may refusal rate pa

So dadami chance natin na makahabol sa byahe hehe

I also try to check with those ahead of us ,the ground situation economy wise does not sound good plus the housing crisis, by the time our tiles are turned- is a blessing in disguise pa - built na mga houses at senior citizen na cguru ako nun 😝

The timeline aforementioned was already in legislation tama ba since Nov 2019 ,pero recently this 2023 lang na reflect sa DHA tama ?
Kaya nga pag single remain as it is until visa is granted!

kaya nga sabi ni karl, DHA took over 4 yrs to correct the mistake. inupdate lang tapos ang liit pa, hindi pa naka highlight sa pinaka taas.

truelaloo. marami na rin daw kasi narefuse ang visa bcoz of this re partner points.

Hmm hang on, take a step back, papunta na tayo sa curses and mythical creatures, dungeons and dragons neto... Chareng!

In all seriousness though, thinking this way is not productive at all. Nakakainip naman talaga mag hintay, but that should not stop you from living your life. Merong drawback and sense of halt sa paghihintay, at wala rin naman masama expressing one's frustrations, but at the end of the day, wala rin naman syang magagawa.

I guess, all I'm saying is that dont feed off each other's frustrations and bad vibes from all the waiting game, kasi hindi sya productive. It's just aggravating. Now, yes, overthinking is a curse.

So yeah, chill out, guys. Darating rin yan.

Nasa mindset talaga. Most of the people waiting for grants, pag andyan na sa harap di pa pala ready. Use that time to prepare yourself:
1. going back to your roots
2. spending more time with your family
3. doing those projects that youve been wanting to do
4. going out of town or holiday around ph or the country where you are staying
5. save save save - pag nasa AU ka na iniisip mo pangkain mo instead of getting a good job

madali sabihin, pero yan yung mga haharapin mo once andyan na visa hehehe. Happy waiting!

I think the reason why it's so hard kasi you never really know where you stand. It's an indefinite wait even if a lot of experts will say this or that. But as cliche as it sounds, just live your life to the fullest haha. You just really have to see the good in where you are at this point. Grabe antagal ko nang nagaantay ng invite and looking back parang wala akong ginawa for the past year kung hindi mag-obssess over invitation rounds, cut off points etc. I feel na I wasted so much time being frustrated

Siguro while waiting, list down some things you want to do/achieve right now, kasi panibagong challenge nanaman when you get to AUS and you might never get to do those things when you get there. So ngayon ang new year's resolution ko for this FY 24-25 ay mageenjoy nalang ako ng maraming maraming authentic middle eastern food, susubukan mag travel sa nearby europe and africa kasi when the time comes na makarating ako sa australia malalayo na tong mga lugar na to and mahal na ang flights hahaha.
