There is no issue with continued employment under the same premises of your skills assessment, you can claim points for it even without the changes yet to be published given you have the evidence to support it just like when you went for the skills assessment.

Personal choice to simplify my pathway either 189/190 ,factored in na yung age and opportunity cost and competitive advantage,job demand nang occupation sa migration landscape last FY.

Security and immediate PR once and for all, although that can be argued meron din ang 491in the short term and same lang naman time to take to be eligible sa citizenship if you try to short circuit and traverse yung conversion from 491.For me mas simple pag 190 or 189.

Although it seems contradicting -i also have other reasons other than the above na personal circumstances.

Thank you for sharing. Yung score kasi parang ang taas sa 491. In my case, 65 lang ako sa 190 due to age (37) and proficient lang sa English. 75 naman sa 491. Not sure kung may significant factor yun. Kaya parehas ko na sila kinonsider. Do you recommend po ba na in ideal na kunin na yung 491 kapag nauna mainvite versus 190?

You can do that as well whatever comes first.

If that will work out for you sa end goal mo. 491 invitation is not bad at all, much better than waiting for an invite for 190/189 na di natin alam kailan.

While we're in this topic, let's say nakapag-lodge na ng 491, nakapagbayad na and all tapos ma-invite ka sa 190, pwede mo ba ba i-withdraw yung 491 and then mag-lodge ng 190? I know wala ng refund yung binayad sa 491. I just want to know if it's possible and kung nangyayari sa same state na nag-nominate ng 491 at 190? Thank you!

Rule of thumb you can only get nominated once , pag winithdraw mo sya -hindi na babalik sa state yung nomination spot kaya pepenalise ka nya not to be eligible in any rounds for that FY or X amount of months ban in that extent.
But you still can get nominated in other states for that FY, only once as well.

To share an experience from someone we know, they got invited for 491 in ACT and nakapag lodge na sila. While waiting for the grant, they received 190 invitation from VIC so they cancelled the 491 and waited for the 190 instead. Granted na sila and made their BM na din.
