In my opinion, ok talaga parallel processing. Siguro kasi I’m an IT guy? LOL. Pero siyempre DHA can’t please everybody. Marami rin frustrated kasi they’ve been waiting for more than 18 months tapos may mauna pa sa kanilang late lodgements. Pero yun nga, I think this is for DHA to prevent processing times na umabot sa 21 months+ if they continue granting serially/FIFO. I may also be wrong but what else can we do as lodgers diba? We can only wait and pray. For me, waiting for a grant is already a blessing. Thousands of people are trying to come but are still stuck waiting for invite. Again, hoping and praying for all to receive their grants soon! 🫶🙏

Hindi naman na kasi reasonable yung 21+ months processing. Kahit nakapost ang backlog counts. Hello ano 'to, 2years na life plan ng aspiring migrants held off because of this (excluding waiting time for invite). Tapos na covid restrictions so sana nakabawi na sila.

If January 24 grants alone we need 700 grants per month to affect yung 50% timeline,

as of now I don’t see that happening

I think DHA is doing some balancing act. Because on the one hand, they have a lot of backlog applications, and on the other hand election is incoming. Since immigration is a hot topic right now, as a scapegoat for the problems in AU..

I think one main reason kaya dine delay nla ang grant is housing crisis. Isa sa nag drive ng pwg taas ng cost ng house at rent ang migration. Kung iggrant nla lahat ng sabay sabay tapos pag dating ng mg migrants d2 ang tendency tataas ang rent at house build. Law of supply and demand. Yan naging problem ng mg states in the past years kaya tumaas renta. Ginagawan n to ng solusyon ng government pero di p din sapat.

Nakaka stress talaga mag antay, ako 30 months nag antay, tho mainly dahil sa pandemic na lockdown for 2+ years.

It will come since processing na lang (I assume na may invite na).
