Yung experience ko nag pag kuha ng OEC sa POEA (Madaluyong Branch) is smooth. Pag dating ko diretso nako sa verification windows kasi nga na verify na ni POLO Australia ang contract. Walang pang 30mins tapos na ako sa POEA.

Pag dating sa Immigration, ayun na nga. Buti ready ako lahat ng documents, hinanap ni officer ang ff na documents.

Copy ng Visa

PDOS (sabi ko wala ako nito, then pinakita ko email from CFO na hindi need ng PDOS ng 491 visa holders, so na convince naman si Officer at no more question regarding PDOS)

Employment Contract (Hinanda ko din ito, pero di ko inexpect na hahanapin to)

OEC (buti na ayos ko to, kung hindi baka hindi ako pinalabas hehe)

Tinanong din si misis kung may work sa Au, sabi namin wala. so hindi na sya hinanapan ng mga ibang documents.

Based lang ito sa experience ko. hehe

Original copy of Signed addendum (Annex A) as hereto attached to comply with the minimum requirements of the POEA in employing Filipino Workers abroad which will form part of your existing employment contract. OR An insurance policy/Health Insurance in Australia (with front page -complete name and policy number) may be submitted in lieu of the addendum provided there is a provision for repatriation and medical evacuation to the Philippines in case of worker's death or severe illness.

If yes po, ano po naprovide nyo? Hindi po kasi makakapagprovide si employer ko ng addendum. Nagtry naman po ako mag-inquire sa insurance providers like Bupa and Medibank pero wala daw po silang cover na may repatriation. Onshore po ako nung na-grant 491 then umuwi po ako PH and balik po sa January 30.

Yes po, may format po na binigay yung POLO pinapirmahan ko lang po sa employer ko.

@datch29 hello po. Salamat po sa response. Hindi po kasi pipirma employer ko ng addendum kaya kumuha na lang po ako ng Bupa insurance with repatriation.

Visa 491 holder here. Isheshare ko lang ang experience ko a month ago - di ako kumuha ng OEC nung umuwi ako ng Pilipinas last month. I've been a sole trader since arriving in Au in 2023. Since self-employed ako, di na rin required kumuha ng contract verification, hence no OEC (I emailed POLO Canberra about this, which they confirmed).

By the time na lilipad na ako pabalik ng Australia and knowing na wala akong OEC palabas ng Pinas, intentionally hindi ako pumila sa OFW queue sa immigration thinking na dun hahanapin ang OEC. So sa Ph passport holders (tourist/pr) ako pumila. Naging madali lang rin naman ang proseso kasi tinanong lang ng officer kung saan ang final destination at kung anong gagawin, sagot ko 'maninirahan'

Ayun, fortunately naging maayos naman ang proseso pagpasok at paglabas. OEC shouldn't apply to 491 because this visa is not employer-driven.

May chances ba ang 85points for visa 491? nagbabakasakali lng ako sa iba ibang state at yon lng ang nakikitang way. Salamat.
