Pero in summary, your NBI CLearance is still valid kaya lang you may end up having an Initial Entry Date so soon. Malapit na kasi ang May so once nagrant VISA mo baka kelangan mo na mag-IED. Pero kung ok ka lang dun, then just submit your current clearance.

Health and character clearances have a limited validity period, in most cases 12 months from their date of issue.

It is the validity of these clearances which determines the Initial Entry Date (IED) that is specified as a condition of the grant of a visa. That is, the IED is the date by which an applicant and any dependents included in the application must make an initial entry to Australia, and it is the earliest expiry date of all clearances which is chosen. An IED is also applicable to applicants who are already in Australia on other visas who will be required to depart Australia for the grant of this visa. All clearances must be valid for the grant of a visa.

@simple_sabbey.. pwede mo gamitin yan. basta yung green na nbi clearance yan ah. at ang reason mo diyan sa nbi clearance mo is "Travel Australia". dapat din approve na visa mo at makaalis ka dito pinas before May 16 kung yan din gagamitin mo. mejo rush yun sa tingin ko. I prefer kuha ka na lang ulit. 115pesos lang naman.

@aldousnow: Thanks for the reply. Tanong ko na din po ung sa medical. Sa Makati ka dn po ba nagpamedical? Kmusta naman po ung medical? ska required ba kahit ung mga non migrating dependents mo mag-papamedical? (e.g. Father, Mother & sister). Thanks in advance po sa reply. God Bless.

@simple_sabbey: Yup sa Makati ako nagpamedical. Okay naman ang result. nagpa retest sa chest xray ko kaya kinabahan ako.. pero all went well pa din naman. Thank God.

..pag parents, siblings, place them as "other family members". Huwag mo sila ilagay sa "non-migrating dependents". Kasi pag sa "non-migrating dependents".. siya yung wife and kids mo. And they will require na i-medical din sila. Medyo nalito ko nun kasi akala ko kelangan pa imedical yung parents ko din kasi nalagay ko sila sa "non-migrating dependents" nga.. kaya nagtanong ako sa CO ko. Buti na lang mabaet yung CO ko.. sya na naglipat sa "other family members" at hindi na daw kelangan nga imedical parents ko.. same din sa siblings.

@aldousnow: pano kaya ung sakin kasi ung father, mother and sister ko, nailagay ko sya sa Non-Migrating Dependents. kelangan ko po ba advise ung CO ko dn para hindi na ipamedical ung parents and sister ko?

@simple_sabby: alam na dapat ni CO mo yun. kapag ni request ka na niya ng medical.. ikaw lang irerequire nya. if ever nirequire nya din parents and sister mo.. iconfirm mo CO mo kung required ba talaga sila. Pero I'm pretty sure hindi yun.

@simple_sabbey: Batch 2005 ako. ikaw ba? ano course mo? yung pagsubmit ko naman ng NBI. nag email ako kay CO attached yung scanned NBI copy. tapos inattach ko na din dun sa site kung san ka nag attach ng mga scanned documents mo.

@aldousnow: Batch 2001 ako, sa CET ako, Comp. Engg. ung course ko. kaw sa Engineering Department ka dn ba? Btw ung sa medical mo ba saglit lng ung medical mo? mga ilang oras? nagpamedical na kasi ako kahapon sa makati tapos mga 1-2hrs lang ata ako dun.. tapos after 1 week daw maupload sbi sakin, ganun dn ba ung sayo? hehehe, sensya na dami ko tanong... Yung sa tanong mo.. mabilis lang talaga dun sa makati. unlike sa st.lukes almost half a day yata dun. after 1 week ifollow up mo ng ifollow up pag wala pa din. ano nga pala nominated skills mo? tsaka ano visa inaplyan mo?

@simple_sabbey, yup. kuya ko nandun. australian citizen na yun. swerte. 2years lang sa kanya bago maging australian citizen. March 23 punta ko dun. sa bahay nya ko stay. Yung sa medical mo nakita ko sa post mo sa kabila.. gawin mo dun. iconfirm mo sa Nationwide Health ek ek kung napasa na nila lhat ng medicals mo at kung wala na kelangan sayo. If yes, then wait ka na lang. pag yung status ng medical mo is "Medicals Finalised" asahan mo that day or the next day approve na visa mo. *Depende pa din sa CO mo. pero anytime maaprove na visa mo nun.

hello mga ka-forum, musta po? just wanna ask if tama lang ba ung interpretation ko, ang pagkakaintindi ko dun sa email ng CO namin is police clearances lang ang hinihingi pero base sa mga nababasa ko, normally sabay na hinihingi ang police and medical. thanks.

@Bryann: yup, i went to NBI (Main-Taft) last January 18. If ul be getting ur NBI clearance you should be at the NBI Main-Taft as early as 6am but the early the better, kasi may quota sila na 5000 lang ung pinaprocess a day. There's separate line for female and male applicants (unfortunately male line is much longer compare to female line). You should also carry a lot of patience because of the process and waiting time. They have the corresponding number in the NBI form that was given to applicants that has an equivalent time of processing, like mine 2500 ung form number ko, my application was process at 12nn-1pm. Do not wear anything panlakad na litaw ung kuko sa paa and sleeveless or sando (bka kasi hindi kayo papasukin eventhough na nasa pila kayo), mgdala na din kayo ng pen and biscuit/ water para hindi kayo magutom while waiting for your time thou there are food chains (like jolibee and kfc) sa paligid. In filling up the form, in the purpose portion put in it 'VISA AUSTRALIA'. Btw Php115 lng ung NBI clearance, if wala HIT ung name nyo, u can get ur clearance the same day, pero if may hit you need to go back at the NBI office after 10 working days to claim your clearance. If mejo unfortunate may interview pa silang ginagawa sa mga applicants na may HIT. I suggest kung kukuha kayo sa NBI- Main taft na kayo kumuha, para atlis direcho na kung may mga problem pa thou alam ko pede din sa mga robinsons mall.

pwede mo na lang din tawagan sila para ipa pickup yang mga documents na yan pero 32pesos per minute na tawag yun at mas matagal bago mo makuha.

So I prefer pumunta ka na lang sa address na yan.
Be sure to know yung complete address kung saan mo ipapadeliver.
