    @amedina I'm planning to apply din sa University of Newcastle. May I ask kung ano ang required score for IELTS (OBS-overall band score and on each subtest)? Sa BN-course website nila they require an overall score of 7 and no less than 6 in each subtest pero when I checked the site of their English Proficiency Policy, it's 7 for both the OBS and Subtests. Nakita ko kasi sa timeline mo that you applied there. Thanks.

    @Jonjie1322 kung medyo alangan or ayaw mo mag ielts may ibang way. Ako kasi kumuha ako ng agent. Hindi na sila nagrequire ng ielts. Parang english exam lng sa mismo school na gusto mo pasukan. Tutulungan ka din sa test para sure na makapasa ka. Pero kung may extra time lang ako, hindi na ako dadaan sa kanila at mag exam nlng ng ielts. Sayang din kasi ung ibabayad sa kanila, kaya naman mag apply ng visa mag isa basta complete lang requirements. Naiinis nga ako kasi medyo nadedelay application ko sa school coz of them. *sigh

    @shyla_guccis OBS 7.0 no subtests lower than 7.0 for B Nursing. Nag IELTS din ako kaso di ko nakuwa yung required score kaya I decided mag ELICOS na lang instead before mag B Nursing. Wait ko pa visa result. :)

    @amedina hi! Kelan intake mo? May tanong lang ako, diba sa slec ka nagpamedical, pano mo nalaman na upload na nila? Also bakit global health ang mgbibigay ng clearance. Medyo naconfuse ako

    @Rhina13 kelan nga ulit intake mo? Parang pansin ko lng, mas mabilis lumabas result ng visa pg malapit na ang pasukan. Ako stuck pa rin sa agency. Hay... nakakafrustrate maghintay. Diba supposedly mas mabilis kasi may nag aassist sayo..

    Btw, may kasabay din ako sa stotts papasok. Accounting naman ang course.

    Nakakainis din mag hintay ano? Di ko ma pursue plans ko until walang pang offer letter.

    Question: May interview pa ba sa school before they give their offer letter? Also, meron na ba dito nag apply sa UB?

    May 31 - applied online at University website
    June 17 - Uni sent a message that they approved 14 credits for prior learning.
    June 21 - Uni emailed: move my intake to Feb 2014.
    July 5 - Passed IELTS! Yipee. Emailed Uni my result.
    July 16 - Received conditional OFFER LETTER from Uni. :)
    July 19 - sent my TOR to Uni.
    July 22 - Uni received my TOR
    July 24 - received my UNCONDITIONAL OFFER.
    July 31 - paid tuition fees and received COE
    Sept 16 - lodged visa application 573 SVP with one dependent thru VIA
    Sept 17 - acknowledgement from embassy with medical request.
    Sept 18 - Medical Examination at NHSI
    Sept 24 - Medical forwarded to Embassy
    Oct 4 - Phone interview with CO.
    Oct 7 - Emailed immi asking for updates
    Oct 8 - Received email from immi stating application is under assessment.
    Oct 9 - Received text message from Air 21 and Embassy that my documents has been dispatched.
    Oct 9 - visa refusal! :(

    @amedina sis, i think i know why. IDP told me na if i lodge earlier, it still won't progress unless it's close to the commencement of classes na. earliest is 4 months before daw. you can lodge early, but they don't give you your visa early.

    @iheartoz hi! when are you planning to lodge your documents? We have almost the same timeline but I am still waiting for the COE which the school said they will send tomorrow or on Monday.My agent told me if possible to lodge our documents next week. I am anxious about the length of time for the visa processing...

    June 8 - sent application to embassy thru agency
    June 19 - acknowledgement letter received
    June 20 - medicals done at NHSI Cebu.
    June 25 - medicals uploaded
    July 13 - Visa granted. Thank you Lord!

    sa feb 2014 pa intake ko, so i was adviced to lodge anytime between september to october. but if july intake ka, you can go ahead and lodge na.

    @bbgirl Hi regarding your question, I was interviewed thru phone.same questions based on the GTE. I was also surprised when I got a call from the Uni. The day after they called, I received a Letter of Offer.:)

    May 6 - received COE from USQ
    June 8 - sent application to embassy thru agency
    June 19 - acknowledgement letter received
    June 20 - medicals done at NHSI Cebu.
    June 25 - medicals uploaded
    July 13 - Visa granted. Thank you Lord!

    @bluejinx333 o nga e. i was supposed to lodge last month sana. naoverlook ng agent ko ang intake date ko. buti na lang when i submitted the requirements, nireview nya. completed my requirements na, actually. hinold lang. dami pa akong dapat asikasuhin dito before i leave kaya i didn't enroll for july.

    @iheartoz yap. IDP also told me that pero I still lodged my papers since sabi ni Ms. Daryl depende daw sa CO if ibibigay agad yung visa result or hindi. no choice but to wait ngayon.

    Mag aaral po ako sa OZ only for 1 year this July, ask q lang po kung habang ongoing yung studies ko sa OZ ay pde din po ba akong mag apply/log ng EOI for 189/190 visa?

    Hindi po ba i-aaproved yung 189/190 visa hangat dpa tapos yung studies ko?

    Today is the first day of the 3rd week na pagaantay ko for the response sa UB. Kinakabahan ako. Ano kaya possible reason for them not to accept a student? May mga bagsak kasi ako sa grades ko noon. Also, may iba pa ba kayong alam na school na mabilis mag reply? :( Nakaka-worry lang talaga.
