Sana nga. I've also read in this forum that there are June applicants with CO already. (sent to me by one of the forumers here, @jelms), http://www.expatforum.com/expats/australia-expat-forum-expats-living-australia/55385-priority-3-now-priority-4-applicants-club-1042.html

Another good news na nabasa ko sa forum na yan is that DIAC aims to finish 2010-2011 applicants by 2011. It was announced daw months ago kaya lang di ko makita sa DIAC site to confirm. Sana nga totoo para malapit na din yung sa inyo, @onesilvertwo.

Just in case makita mo or anyone here yung official announcement, kindly share please.

175 Visa Application Updates:

As of Dec. 09 - Apr. 30, 2011 (latest allocation date, supposed to be this Friday pa lang sila mag-uupdate pero meron na nun Dec. 9. Two days lang ang jump ng 175 applicants, Apr. 28 to Apr. 30. Pero ok lang, at least may progress. Sa mga Priority 5 applicants naman, pinaprocess na as of Aug. 2007.)

Hmm mukhang hindi naman kasi mas mabilis pa din ang 176 SS, weeks lang may CO na agad. Ang 175 months pa din ang binibilang.

question po.. may idea po ba kayo kung ano ang possible causes ng delay if sept. 2010 ka pa naka paglodge tapos til now wala pa ring CO? pag tinatanung ko naman ang agent ko, wala namang specific details :-(( may ipapa verify pa daw na details.. nauubos na yata ang buhok ko sa kakaisip at kakahintay.. i envy those who just lodged this year tapos approved na ang visa.. :-((

Hi po! I saw in your signature na Visa 175 applicant ka and ABPF na status mo. But if you check dun sa trending na sinesend ko above, supposed to be between Aug and Sep of 2011, may result na application mo. Why not email DIAC directly for the status of your application? Or if may details na iveverify, somehow dapat informed ka kung ano yun kasi baka may kelangan pa silang additional documents from you. Kulitin mo din si agent mo. I believe they are paid a high amount of money para matulungan ka nila on these cases.

Ayoko mangyari sa'yo yung nangyari dun sa isang applicant sa kabilang forum. Hindi sya iniinform ng agent nya na denied pala visa application nya. Several months have passed bago pa nya nalaman.

Posibleng oversight or negligent ang agent...may mga kasong ganyan katagal wala pa ring CO pero dapat may details for delay naman dapat nakukuha ang agent...

@JClem thanks po sa input.. o nga eh.. sept. pa ako nag.eexpect ng feedback tsaka hindi nmn ako nagkulang ng pag.iinquire sa agent ko.. pag tinatanong ko xa vague yung answers nya.. hindi talaga nagbibigay ng specifics o details mn lng at least.. sinasabi lng nya na may hinihingi na additional details at naghihintay pa xa ng instruction.. i tried emailing diac pero hindi sila makapagbigay ng direct information sa akin kasi hindi ako authorized to receive information directly from their department.. i authorized the agent to communicate with diac on my behalf kaya dapat daw sa agent ako magtanong.. kng madedenied ang application ko makikita ko nmn yun sa online status ng visa application ko dba? so far hindi pa nmn denied.. abpf pa din nmn.. alam ko nmn dati pa na complicated ang case ko compared sa iba.. for prio 4 applications diac is estimating 18 months yata for completion (http://www.immi.gov.au/about/charters/client-services-charter/visas/8.0.htm#b) , sa akin 15 months pa but i'm really hoping it would be sooner na.. i'll try getting back to my agent at sana nmn hindi xa makulitan at magbigay pa xa ng additional info.. =((

@LokiJr ayoko sanang mag.isip na negligent ang agent ko kasi sayang nmn yung binayad ng erpats ko sa kanya pero hindi ko talaga maiwasan eh.. i know waiting can cause anxieties at lahat ng dumaan sa ganitong process alam ko makakarelate.. pero cguro nmn my agent can lessen my worries by being more honest or detailed regarding diac's inquiries about my application.. i tried to be optimistic nga thinking na my agent probably doesn't want me to worry pero i think with the current status it's actually making me worry more.. thanx po sa input.. i'll try contacting my agent again..

Hi @p0rn5taR! Yes, I believe makikita mo naman sa online if denied. Good thing na ABPF pa din. Anyway, like @LokiJr said, at least dapat may details bakit delay. It's understood na sabi ng DIAC na dapat decision ready na ang application kapag ni-lodge. Pero in case may kelangan pa sila or kahit complicated ang case mo, iniinform nila si applicant or si agent para maasikaso na to and avoid further delays. Honestly, sa case mo lang ako nakarinig na walang specific details. Go back to your agent. Wag ka mahiya and hindi sila dapat makulitan sayo, ikaw ang customer nila so they better serve you. Hindi biro yung amount na binayad mo sa kanila. Ask mo na din how they communicate kay DIAC. If through emails/PLE, baka pwede nila forward yun sayo. 18 months talaga ang estimated processing ng 175 sa DIAC website pero mabilis na ang processing ngayon.

Anyway, sabi nga sa signature mo "patience is a virtue".

Pero ang hirap mag-antay di ba? Kahit ako, halos araw-araw ako nagchecheck ng status namin online. Minsan nga ayoko na antayin e baka bigla na lang sya dumating. Hehe!

Iniisip ko na lang na way to ni God in teaching us to be patient. I'll include you in my prayers. Be more patient, baka bukas visa grantee ka na. Balitaan mo kami ha. See you in AU!

Hi All and to @onesilvertwo!

Got this from another forum. Reply ni DIAC sa inquiry nung isang forumer dun.

"This year the Department of Immigration and Citizenship (Adelaide office) will be closed Monday 26 December 2011, Tuesday 27 December 2011 and Wednesday 28 December 2011. It will re-open on Thursday 29 December 2011 and Friday 30 December 2011.

The office will then be closed again on Monday 2 January 2011. Normal services will resume on Tuesday 3 January 2012."

I had mixed emotions when I learned about their holidays. First, inggit ako sa haba ng Christmas holiday nila. Hehe! Sa atin di man lang declared kahit Dec. 26 and Jan.2 na holiday. Parang ordinary weekends lang tuloy ang Christmas and New Year. :-S Second, I was wishing na before sila mag-holiday, sana magkaron ng update application namin and lahat ng June applicants. Meron na kasi sila pinaprocess na mga nagsubmit ng June.

@JClem salamat po sa lahat.. iba talaga pag dumadaan sa similar na proseso yung kausap mo kasi makakarelate talaga.. gudlak nlng sa ating lahat.. feeling ko nga baka mas mauuna pa yung progress ng application mo kaysa sa akin.. complicated lng talaga xa.. =(( God bless sa ating lahat at sana mabigyan tau ng mas mahaba-haba pang pasenxa.. at sana hindi tau maloka kakaintay sa progress ng applications natin.. sana dumating ang araw na makapagsabi akong "see you in AU"

don't worry, pag pasok ng taon, sure sa inyo na ang ipoprocess.
it may seem nakakainip (dahil excited ka. haha!), pero mabilis lang lilipas ang araw. enjoy the holiday nalang muna and ipagpray ang application.
