Hello po sa lahat,
Bago lang din ako on this thread. Ask ko lang sana my chances of getting a job sa Oz. I am an ECE graduate, currently working in Singapore as Test Engineering Specialist. My work experience is on the Manufacturing/Semiconductor industries. Any advise which part in Australia I should plan of going? I am eyeing Australia now , kasi ang hirap na makakuha na PR sa SG. THanks.

@lock_code2004 hi! Nagse-search ako ng assessing authority for accountant. CPA po ako. Ngaun pa lang ako mag start ng application. Kaya nagbabasa pa ko ng articles on subclass 189. I came upon a site showing list per SOL sched 1. May nakalagay beside sa assessing authorities na "NOT AVAILABLE". Ano po kaya ibig sabihin nito? Btw, i learned a lot from this forum

- may occupational limit ang bawat occupation.. pag na reach na ang limit, they will not issue visa invitiation to apply... fortunately that limit will be refreshed every Jul 1st..
- i dont think Accountant's limit is already reached. always check the DIAC site for the most updated info/list...
- check http://www.immi.gov.au/skills/skillselect/ > Reports tab > Occupation Limit
- i can see that Accountant limit is 10,440 for the year (until June 30, 2013), and visa application sent is only 4561...
- you might be looking at an OLD list, or a List for a certain State Sponsorship..

@lock_code2004 another thing sir, kailangan kong kontakin ang mga assessing authorities under accountant to know the requirements di ba po? Or can i just send them my requirements? Ito po ang 1st step na ginawa ko after reading the different forums here

im waiting sa replies ng mga assessing authorities re their requirements... tama po ba ang ginawa ko?

@breadnbutter - you dont need to contact them.. you can just go to their website..
- read their procedure..
- complete their requirements...
- then apply..

- a good start is check which state offers sponsorship for your nominated occupation...
- and/or look at job sites.. like seek.com.au.. check jobs offered in each state..

would you know if there is a field in EOI that allows input of CV/resume? I was just assuming this is the case since there is a part wherein it asks you if you are ok with getting contacted by an employer or am i wrong?

Hello guys, anyone here from UP? Question ko lang is about sa Diploma, sabi kasi sa requirements pag hindi English ang diploma, kailangan pa ng translation..My question is pano nyo ginawa or tinatanggap na ba sya without the translation? Thanks in advance.

@heart06 You can request a certificate of translation from the OUR. Bring the original and a photocopy of your diploma.

@heart06 - i believe for non-IT degree holder, the assessment will be via RPL- recognition of prior learning.. meron dun sa thread dumaan sa ganyang assessment process.

how much po ang roughly magagastos every process?
for PRship visa po ba ang naka details sa itaas?
paano ma maging employer sponsored kung nagapply ka online/or direct?

1) IELTS- approx 10k PHP per person
2) Assessment - depende sa assessing body - between 500-1000 AUD
3) State Sponsorship (if required) - between 200-300 AUD
4) Visa Processing - 3060AUD for the whole family (until June 30 2013). May changes daw sa fee pag may dependent after July 1 2013
5) Medical - 5000 PHP per person
6) NBI Clearance - approx 200 PHP

of course hindi ksama dyan ang pagkuha mo ng mga documents mo at pag CTC..

if you are applying as employer sponsored visa.. walang masyadong gastos kasi employer ang magbabayad.. please search the thread for 457 visa..

mga 120SGD yung statutory sa SG
3kPHP yung statutory at CTC sa pinas
may miscellaneous pa pra sa photocopy,printing at pakain sa boss

validity is 24 months from the time you receive the assessment result letter
nung time ko this was required by ACS:

Preparing Documents to Upload into the Online Application Form:

1. Gather and organise all required documents to be assessed
2. Create copies of all original documents - (Example: Degree Certificate or Work Reference)
3. Have all copies certified by an authorised person - (Certified copy)
4. Scan & Save certified copies in a PDF file format and upload via the Online Application Form

saan ba current location mo ngayon?please be mindful na certify true copy and notarized doc
might vary in meaning depending sa loc mo..

@kickerz medyu mas advisable nga na hintayin nalang ang bagong ruling sa July2013.But don't
let that stop you from preparing the docs needed especially detailed COE.That is the most
difficult part for me..all the best to your journey..

@kickerz - yeah, it can be costly... lalo na pag migrate mismo and paghanap ng work, super mahal kasi dito sa australia eh. more expensive than singapore.

@kickerz I posted this on another forum but for ur benefit i will share this again..yung excuse ko is gagamitin ko siya as sup doc sa PR application ko and gusto kung gawin maganda para magstandout yung credentials ko,so ako na ang nagbigay ng format sa kanya may ksama detailed JD at lhat ng info hiningi ng ACS. I bet u can use this since ur also currently in SG as long as hndi ka pa PR? you can find more tips in getting through this challenge at SG forum.

@kickerz - at some point malalaman din nila...
pag na tyempuhan ka ng Assessing body and even DIAC, most of the time tumatawag sila sa employers, to validate kung sila nga ang signatories ng mga documents na pinasa mo..

so ako, i made it clear to them.. and i gave them timeline na kung maaprove ganito ang possibleng mangyari..

companies should never hold their employees..
they have the right to terminate us, we have the right to resign and look for a better future..
