Hello everyone!
My husband just sent his application by courier last 10 May 2013. I asked the courier last 14 May if it was received by the embassy already, and they replied yesterday that it was received last 13 May. I was quite worried knowing that it was already received by the embassy according to the courier, yet my husband did not receive any acknowledgement email/letter from the embassy. So I opted to contact the embassy this morning through their email, asking if his application reached their office. I received a reply this afternoon, saying that his application was received by the embassy last 13 May. Reading through your timelines, after lodgement you were all able to receive an acknowlegement letter from the embassy, which on my husband's case did not happen. Is not receiving an acknowledgement letter something to worry about?

@imxelyn..u don't have to worry po, kasi nag email kna rin sa kanila at they already confirmed dat they already received it. Kung mnsan po kasi sa dami ng application na narerecv nla der r tyms po na after a week, 2 wks or month kpa mkakarecv ng aknowldgement letter.. Cguro po hndi pa nla na process ung payment or na encode sa system nla ang details ni hubby m kung kayat hndi pa xa nkakarecv ng aknowledgemnt email..

@nfronda thanks! Regarding the payment, I paid here in Adelaide last 26 April so I believe that it's already on their system. Maybe we'll just have to wait for it. Just hoping to get an update from them really soon.

@imxelyn..ahh okk..yup w8 lg po ng 1-2wks at after nun pag wla pang my narerecv na aknowldgemnt letter, call again the embassy..kasi kung mnsan nakakalimutan din nla sa dami ng applicants..

Hello! Ask lang po ako regarding the CFO. Yung husband ko kasi pupunta ng Cebu tomorrow for his Medical Exam as requested by the embassy. Then mag-aattend nalang din sana siya ng CFO seminar kasi may schedule for Australia sa Wednesday afternoon. Stated naman sa site ng CFO na pwede mag-attend ng seminar while processing palang ng Visa. My concern is, pwede kaya na sa Cebu CFO siya mag-attend ng seminar and get the Guidance and Counselling Certificate tapos sa Manila CFO siya kukuha nung sticker oresenting the GCC with him sakaling may Visa na siya? Or dapat ba talaga na kung saan ka nag-atted ng seminar, dun ka rin kukuha ng sticker? Salamat!

Walang capping for 309visa, pero fiancee lng ang alam ko subject sa capping... Yun nga din ang sabi nung iba, na maaring ma resume n pgprocess ng fiancee visa sa july. Kz thats the start of financial year of australian govt. But lets hope mapabilis nman yung sa aten, lalo n at matagal na rin yung sayo. Di k na b contact ng co mo about ur medical? Siguro nmn wait lng talga nila yung result.

@forevern4always oo nabasa ko rin sa ibang thread about fiancee visa na may quota daw sana yung partner visa hindi kasali...wala akong na re rcv any email from CO or SMO, nagbibilang nga ako ng weeks kase sabi nya i have to write back within 8 weeks to followup.

Hello, nku JD2012 if u will check the aus embassy website, they have changed their processing time for partner visa 300 & 309. The new processing time is now 12 months. Kya lng di ba, new policy yun. Hope di nmn tayo sakop nyan. Im 4 months and 1week now since we lodged our application. Dont be discourage, lets just pray na maovercome naten yung INIP.

Hello guys,
Totoo nga na 12 months processing na ang 300/309 visa kasi tumawag ako kanina sa via centre to inquire about it. Hopefully by july i think my mga results na na maibibigay ang taga embassy! Goodluck nalang sa ating lahat, sana ako din sa july na hahaha kasi ang tagal mag intay nang 12 months.

Yes it is the email address and yes also, you get the automated reply. Dont worry, im sure they will answer your queries in few days. If ur question was about how long the visa would take, probably you would get the same reply just like what all here got. Are u on pmv or a spouse visa subclass? When did u lodge yours?

@forevern4always Thank you! No, I asked if they have received the NSO documents that I requested and the results of my medical examination. I applied for Spouse Visa Subclass 309.

It's on my timeline, I sent my application 8 May via courier and the embassy received my application 14 May as stated on my acknowledgement letter.

is your spouse filipino or australian? Kaya nga, pero depende parin talaga sa CO na mghahandle. Kaya pinapanalangin ko nalang na mabait at efficient yung CO na ma-a-allocate sakin. Buti ka pa nga at may CO ka na.

Australian cia not pinoy. yep depende rin nga sa co. when I sent email, I was told that a Co was assigned to me, pero not mentioned who it was, my application was progressing and the case officer was currently waiting for medical result. Mag 1 month na since that reply, till now wala p ring balita. Kya ngbabalak n rin umuwi ang asawa ko kz 7 months n kmi mgkalayo.

oh okay, you have a CO yet you don't know naman kung sino. Minsan talaga parang kulang din yung binibigay nila na updates kaya ngarag tayo. How come na waiting siya for your medical results eh based on your timeline, 25 Jan ka nagpamedical? Bakit parang antagal naman nung results? Matagal narin pala kayong hindi nagkasama, kami 5 months narin na hindi magkasama. Nakakalungkot lang. Minsan nagiging hesitant ako magsend ng email sa immigration lalo na sa 'Contact Us' na page nila, parang impolite yung CS officer nila pag sumasagot ng enquiries.

Yeah, sometimes kz di n rin nila entertain clients enquiries if still on their stardard processing time lalo n ngayon, inabot kna ng change mg 1 year n ang processing times. Its too early p kz for u to follow up regarding the status of ur application. Yung question mo nmn n if nareceived b nila ung additional docs, usually di nmn cla ngeemail just to let us know na nareceived n nila. Nung ng pass ako ng nso docs ko, no acknowledgement email as well as dun sa medical ko. Kya easy k lng muna kz, my backlog kz ang Australian health operations nila. Khit nga yung asawa ko nung ng pa check up ngpa labtest inabot pa ng ilang weeks until now wala png result eh simpleng pa check up lang yun. Kaya if this week wala p rin, uuwi muna cia dito.

@forevern4always hello! Buhay pa naman hehehe pasok ba tayo sa 12 months processing or hindi naman ? Bakit nagpa medical check ang asawa mo? nagpapa medical check din pala ang sponsor? Wala naman akong na rcv na email requiring my gf(who's in Sydney) na magpa medical check...

Hi Rf, hindi nmn cia ngpamedical, check up lng kz nilalagnat lng tpos kinuhanan ng dugo, yung test result pinapafollow up p raw sa melbourne. Yung 12months di ako sure kung under tayo ng new policy. Hope not namn kz napakatagal nung 12months. Mg 7months n yung sayo no? Dont worry meron nga dun sa ibang forum almost 10months n cia ngwawait. Meron tlga problema sa health operation ng Australia. Kz,yung isang tinanong ko n nareferred ang medical ang sbi niya wala daw problema sa medical niya and no history of tb, yet nareferred p rin, fiancee visa apply niya at dec pa cia ng apply until now waiting pa rin. Mg register k dun sa australiaforum.com at andun mga partner visa I know some here n member din nung forum n iyon. For reference lng din nmn pra di u mgworry. God bless us.

@forevern4always Dapat di tayo sakop ng new policy na yan.. kung kelan nila inilabas dun dpat yan applicable sa mga bagong naglodged.. Been waiting for 6 mos na then another 6mos ulit. Anung pagaasessed na nmn gagawin sa tagal nun, Kung nasent mo nmn lahat ng docs na kelangan. Long way to goooo pa ko

Guys my fiancee emailed the immig last May 11,2013 at ito yung reply nila :
Cguro yung new time frame eh sa mga bago lng na naglodged. Haisst sana mapprove na taung lahat.

Hello everyone! I have a question, with regards to Visa and Immigration Office processing/assessing/allocating applications schedule, when do they usually update that? Stated kasi ngayon that for Partner Visa it's within/until 5 April 2013 Application Lodgement Dates.
