@nikkilapan - siguro hindi CO si K Aurelio, siya rin po ang nag eemail sa akin, di kaya sila ang call center reps that DIAC is mentioning. anyway CO or not, its not going to matter, si @franz25 nga naapprove without notification of CO allocation. Some would say hocus pocus or something fishy pero its not kasi the same person replied to my queries wherein i used the official, onlineenquiry form of the embassy.

Actually I know that I can be certified by AIMS without doing further study. Kaya lang kase gusto na ko papuntahin nung relative ko via student visa kase mabilis yun. What I'm planning nga is hindi tapusin yung studies kundi mg pa certify then apply ng permanent visa while I'm there studying. Mas madali mghanap ng employer kung nandun ka na di ba. And added points pa kung ng aral ka dun right? I'm leaning towards getting a masters na lang yta dun. Kaya lang 1 year lang yung masters. Meron pa din ba option na further stay na visa if you finished masters? Kase baka hindi pa ako makakuha PR/employer matapos na studies ko pauwiin lang ako. And kapag masters course ko wala ba limit yung working hours namin ng wife ko? Thanks again.

@ten2six regarding working hours. Only your spouse can work unlimited hours during school days. Part time pa rin ang student. During school breaks lang unlimited. Masters din ako.

@ten2six - diba naka lagay sa terms and conditions ng student visa is tatapusin mo ang duration ng visa? kasi baka pauwiin ka niyan kung hindi mo matatapos. sa pag kaka intindi ko, dapat tapusin mo ang duration nang student visa bago mag take effect ang kung ano mang visa ang gusto mo ng applyan.mukhang delikado yang plano mo.

@KG2.. ganun ba yun? di ba pwede na student visa then makahanap ng employer shift na sa employer sponsored? Kung ganun mg masters na nga lang ako ng 1 year kesa kumuha ng 3 year bachelors na same field din ng natapos ko dito.

@liyah22.. Another question, ano plans mo after getting your Masters degree? Ilan years duration ng course mo? Sensya na dami tanong. Naguguluhan kase ako kung Bachelors or Masters na lang kunin ko. Thanks.

@ten2six - i think so, nabasa ni misis sa isa sa mga topics dito. for example daw if bachelors student ka tapos magaaply ng employer sponsred visa ang partner mo.hindi mag tetake effect ang new visa unless matatapos ang student visa. kaya minsan reluctant daw ang employer. yan pag kaka intindi ko. maybe the forum admins are knowledgeable tungkol sa case mo.

I might be wrong though. Ang dami kasing dapat basahin at intindihin. LOL. Nalilito nga ako palagi eh. haha. Read thoroughly nalang ang Terms and Conditions sa application forms. You might find it there.

Guys mabilis na po ba ung pag process from medical to visa grant? Ksi in my case, I've done my medical sa Nationwide nung May 31. Mukhang ok naman, im confident nman po na walang magiging problem sa health ko. Kumpleto nman po lhat requirements ko tska sa AMS ako nagpalakad ng docs. Orientation ko po sa ACU eh July 22. Tingin nyo po ba aabot ako sa July 22 bago ma approve visa? Or kung oo, mga ilang weeks pa hahantayin ko? Salamat po.

Nalamn ko din yunG CO ko nung nafinalized ung medical ko.usually malalamn mo kong CO mo at me position no. After ng name nia.

@ten2six masters of accounting. Sa july 10 intake ko. Kasi I have no accounting background and I was advised na eto ang magandang course for me. 2 yrs duration ng course. After grad, apply ako graduate visa while looking for work and at the same time apply din ng pr. Graduate visa muna while waiting for pr visa. Pwede naman dw un accdg to my agent. Also, my agent told us na if in case makahanap ng employer husband ko na willing mag sponsor, I can stop my studies na coz automatic na pg employer sponsored visa anf spouse, ganun na rin visa mo. Though, u have the option pa rin to continue your studies. Ako study pa rin, hehehe.

@bluejinx333 medyo nababagalan nga ako sa takbo ng application. Kasi usually the day after u lodge may acknowledgement na from embassy. So far, ang VIA plang ngtxt na naiforward na sa embassy papers ko yesterday late afternoon. Refresh lng ng refresh ng email for medical notice and acknowledgement ng embassy. Lol. Nakukulitan na siguro gmail sakin.

@liyah22.. Thanks. Mukhang mg Masters na lang din ako. Pwede nman pla mg apply graduate visa after. Kase inaalala ko 1 year lang yung Masters course na available sa akin. Baka pauwiin na ako after graduation mahirap naman yun.

@ten2six ooops, I forgot to mention na may minimum of 2 yrs of study to be able to qualify for a graduate visa. Kaya ko rin pla napili etong course na to kasi sya lang ang 2 yrs. Others are for only 18mos

@Missmimicakes - sa nationwide kami nag pa medical, first come first served. Im from Negros Occ. - what you will do is pumunta ka nang maaga, tapos isulat mo name mo(plus dependents) sa paper na naka lagay sa entrance. Tapos pwede ka munang umuwi para matulog. Bumalik ka kapag bukas na(8am yata). Fill up ka nalang nang form para sa medical the night before, kasi pinapafill up ka nila pag dating mo dun(even though sa e-health panel physicians sabi di na daw kailangan mag fill up). This was the process nung nagpamedical kami. It might not be applicable now, so just to be safe, don't take my word for it.

Make sure the night before up to the U/A ay mag water therapy ka. We failed to do this kasi hindi naman kami sinabihan beforehand. Also if they find na mataas glucose nang UA mo, they will do a repeat test next morning tapos with FBS and creatinine na. So make sure you give your stay in cebu an allowance if yoou or your dependents have a pre-existing condition and in case you are requested for a repeat test. Theres a place there that is about 5 minutes away by foot where you can stay, not to expensive, safe and clean. PM me if you want to know about it

You can contact them and ask about the medicals if you want, they will ask you for your cell and they will text you the requirements.

AS for the other panel physician(Santos), by appointment daw dun. They require fasting daw, dont know how true though. Try calling them too and weigh your options.

@KG2 Thank you for the reply, i did call nationwide and Dr. santos' clinic already. i might go with nationwide kasi ang appoinment with Dr. Santos' is for next week na. Mga how early do you think I need to be there?

@MissMimicakes I went there at 5am to write our names on the list, but the clinic i think puts the blank paper on the entrance the night before. People started coming at around 645 and 7am when we took our medicals. Kokonti lang naman kami ang umaga pang dumating, mga 8 heads siguro, pero I think for the whole day 10 lang ang maseserve nila. So its really up to you. Maybe between 6-7am? Where are you from???

Good luck sa inyong application. Im still waiting for my grant and my wifes medical clearance which was referred to the MOC. Grabe ka stressful. Are you familiar with Cebu? If not I can help you a little with directions.

Kung mag masters ako ng 1 year then kung wala pa matino (like nowhere near of getting a PR visa), pwede ba mag aral ulit? like get another student visa without going home first?
