@chuse - i'd say apply for IE.. check mo ang IE definition sa ANZSCO code and compare with your job description.. mas malapit..

Hi @myanaroan, as of today wala parin ang Hard Copy ko...I will go to the Post office here probably tomorrow. In my case, I need to have the hardcopy cause I have to send it back to AU since I am applying for Relevant Skills assessment. Medyo tatanga-tanga kasi ako when I submited my CDR, I thought di ko na kailangan nito and during that time wala akong enough funds to have my skills assessed. Gusto ko sana i-habol yung skills assesment ko sa EA while they are reviewing my CDR application, kaya lang baka ma delay so I waited nalang for the result of my CDR tapos I will then apply for my skills assesment. They emailed me naman and said that I only have to submit a new application form and some related documents (no need to re-submit all the requirements).

@RichardQ dapat pinahabol mo nalang. that's what I did and now I got my result today sabay.

had it forwarded to an Australia address (friend). Received the result it only 2 days.

hi @lock_code2004 and everyone else. question... would I need the original copy of my assessment during the visa application? I already received the scanned copy from my friend in Aussie who received my assessment outcome. Do I need to have her mail the original letter to me? Or there is no need/rush for such?

yes. ipadeliver mo na lang sa kapatid mo.. have it colored scanned, para pwede kana maka-apply ng visa agad.. kagaya ng ginawa ni @ipink...

no, you dont need the actual copy.. just colored scan copy will do...
yun lang nmn ang kailangang i -attached na document sa visa application..

For everyone's appreciation.. My friend received the assessment letter 2 days after EA emailed me that they mailed the letter that day. So it's that fast if within Australia only.

@ipink -tama, iuupload mo lang lahat ng docs.. make sure na colored scan copy pag original..
otherwise, irerequest nila ang CTC, tapos i-iscan mo ang CTCed, then saka iupload ulit..

@lock_code2004 I read the 189 checklist just now. It says:

Certified copies of biographical pages of passports
certified copy of your birth registration

Do I have to get my documents copied then certified even if I have the NSO copy with me? Or I can color scan it and it will be acceptable?

@ipink - for most people here, we just uploaded the colored scan copy..

Mga kapwa engineers kamusta na. Dun sa nagtatanong kung academic or gt ang ielts, gt lang po tayo. Yaan po ay according sa ea msa booklet. I suggest na basahin niyo din po ito at andun lahat ng information kung paano magpoproceed sa assessment. Pati po details ng pagprepare ng cdr and what to do and not to do ay anduon din po. Kung may hindi malinaw ay maraming magaling dito na makakasagot sa mga tanong niyo like si idol lock_code2004. hihi!

Hi guys, question lang po. Dko alam kung meron na nakapagtanong nito pero tanong ko na lang ulit. Ano po pagkakaiba ng civil eng'g draftsperson at civil eng'g technician? magkaiba pa kasi sila sa SOL. Dito sa company namin at sa ibang companies na rin sa US at UK, CAD technician ang tawag sa mga drafters. Dko tuloy alam kung ano ang dapat kong inominate na occupation. Architecture grad ako pero civil and structural na ever since ang linya ng work ko.

Another thing, kapag saktong 8years ang work experience, pwede na kaya yun makakuha ng 15points sa assessment?

Parang bibihira ata yung napapansin kong nagaapply ng visa na mga drafters. Asan na kaya sila?

The new visa fee is a pain. It doubles for me because I have a family. Hope I make it to the next round of invite so I don't get caught with it.

@ipink - it should be more than enough..
if you look at the last invitation report, 50% of the invitees have 60pts..
around 350 EOIs out of 690 invitees..

@ipink - yes, invitations are based on points and date of submission in case of tie..

so example last invitation june 3. the last person invited with 60pts, submitted his EOI on that same day Jun 3. Then, nakalagay sa report, they will invite 1000 EOIs, but they end up inviting approx 700 only..

that means, wala ng masyadong nag susubmit..

depende kung walang mas matataas na points...
kung may mga 65-70pts.. uunahin nila yun..

bro davos_uno yup may chance mainvite sa July. Since na reset n lahat ng occupations by July, pwede k ng mainvite kung wala ng mas mataas n points sayo, 65 & above. As per report, around 50% ng invites sa 60 pts binibigay.

BTW, telco engineer din ako. Pero nung nreach yung ceiling ngpaassess ako ng ibang occupation para makahabol before July. Thank God I got an invite today.

Good day! Saan po pala pwede makita yung occupational ceiling? Tsaka kelan yung susunod na invitation to lodge?

Puspusan na ang pagppractice ko sa IELTS this time. And hopefully maisubmit ko na yung mga necessary documents for assessment within this month.

@clickbuddy2009 - im looking at your timeline...
if you will be doing the vetassess assessment, you dont need IELTS..
so i suggest, concentrate first on your docs, and submit the assessment..
medyo matagal din ang process (12wks average)..

during that time, you can review/take the IELTS exam..

Thanks @lock_code2004 sa walang sawang pagreply sa mga queries dito. Yes, i'm planning to submit my docs for assessment within this month as most of the required documents are already available here in SG. Magtake ako ng IELTS by july27 or 1st week of August para meron pa ako more than a month to prepare to the test.
