    @KG2 im a little familiar with cebu..:) your post was really helpful.. maybe we'll stay at apple tree, walking distance and cheaper if ever they will mail us for medical..how many days did u stay in cebu during the medical and what lab tests ang kinuha?thanks!

    Guys question regarding student visa. I graduated here with a degree in Bachelor of science in Medical Technology. I applied sa University of Western Sydney ng Bachelor of Science. But they emailed me na baka nagkamali daw ako because I have already a degree in the same field. They said I should submit a statement of purpose or apply for a Masters. Ayoko mg Masters kase one year duration lang yun. Mas maganda if 2 years or more ang studies dun. Better chance of getting a PR right?

    Now the question is.. Is it ok if i submit a statement of purpose na lang (although I dont know yet what i will say here)? Di kaya ma apektuhan din yung pg grant ng student visa sa embassy kung napansin nila ang napansin ng UWS? I wonder ano ginawa ng nurse graduates dito who are also taking up Nursing in Australia.

    Is there are a specific reason why you want student visa instead na Skilled migrant? have a look at http://www.aims.org.au/services/individual-assessment/medical-laboratory-technician
     Depending on years and work experience pwede tayo ma assess at Medical Lab technician (Technical officer) or take the exam and be a Medical Scientist.

    June 17 - Uni sent a message that they approved 14 credits for prior learning.
    June 21 - Uni emailed: move my intake to Feb 2014.
    July 5 - Passed IELTS! Yipee. Emailed Uni my result.
    July 16 - Received conditional OFFER LETTER from Uni. :)
    July 19 - sent my TOR to Uni.
    July 22 - Uni received my TOR
    July 24 - received my UNCONDITIONAL OFFER.
    July 31 - paid tuition fees and received COE
    Sept 16 - lodged visa application 573 SVP with one dependent thru VIA
    Sept 17 - acknowledgement from embassy with medical request.
    Sept 18 - Medical Examination at NHSI

    @bbgirl - you will reach your wit's end trying to do it. July 3 results mo for IELTS? Then you have to wait for your TRF for 1 day; July 4. Lodge Visa maybe July 5? Medicals on July 8(Monday), upload between July 12 and 19. Whew...I'd defer my intake to next year if I were you. That's just me. Pero if you have the mental and financial resources and requirements you can give it a try. :)>-

    @bluejinx333 - I stayed in Cebu for 2 days and 2 nights(almost had to cancel our return flight and stay an extra day for the repeat test), good thing the physician was able to let us go to the hospital early for an FBS so we could catch our 830am flight. We stayed at Enmore(850 per night)

    Guys question lang po. Parehas lang ba yung HAP id sa TRN. Kasi i processed my application po thru an agent lng eh gusto ko sana ma check online kung na upload na sa eHealth yung medical records ko. That way sana ma estimate ko kung ilang weeks/days n lng ung visa decision ko. I did some research tpos nakita ko nga yung sitr para malaman ung status ng application. Pwdr ba yun kahit hndi ako online application?

    @ten2six hmm.. kelan ka nag apply sa school? mukhang mahirap ata yun. kasi ako when i applied sa uni, 2 weeks before nasend yung offer letter, then kung accept mo naman na agad yung offer then nakabayad ka na ng tuition, mga max siguro 5 days before mo matanggap eCOE mo, idk lang if depende sa school ha, yung iba naman kasi 1 day lang. Then after COE saka ka makakalodge, mga ilang days din bago magreply ang embassy. sabihin mo na rin 5 days max, papamedical ka then mga 5 working days bago masend ng nationwide yung results, saka ka maghihintay ng result ng student visa mo. san ka nagaaply and what course?

    Feb 14, 2013 - took IELTS under British Council
    Feb 27, 2013 - Got my IELTS result
    Mar 18, 2013 - documents sent to QUT
    Apr 3, 2013 - Offer letter received
    May 27, 2013 - Paid school fees
    May 31, 2013 - Received eCOE
    June 11, 2013 - Lodged application (Subclass 573)
    June 13, 2013 - Received acknowledgement from embassy
    June 17, 2013 - Advice for medical
    June 18, 2013 - Medical done

    @dadedidodu17 - just being realistic. hehe. minsan pag positive masyado hindi rin nakakabuti. hehe.sa IDP sabi nila the VISA usually takes about 1-2 months. Yan daw yung pinaka conservative nila. Though meron din namang 15 days lang approved na. Depende talaga sa panahon siguro.

    @KG2 i know. Pero wala rin naman mangyayari kung magiging pessimist ka, and just because I am overly positive about my/our timeline, it doesn't mean naman na I'm becoming unrealistic. I know how erratic the application process is. I have been informed beforehand that's why I am praying and hoping for the best. Kaya good vibes lang tayo. :D

    @ten2six u can try.. kung hindi naman umabot may next sem pa ;) pwede naman sabihan ang school. there's someone here who applied na offer letter lang pinasa. It looks like pwede un. Tpos nung na medical na sya, saka sya hiningan ng coe. Try backreading, july intake din sya. Or check ung isang thread 572 visa.

    @KG2 hi po im new here! kakalodge ko lng din po nung may 23 and then nung june 4 nasend ng NHSI ung medical results. Question lng po same lng ba ang MOC sa Global Health Australia?narefer daw kc ang records nmin dun :(

    Subclass 573 (SVP) commencement date Aug 12
    May 21 - lodged visa application
    May 23 - DIAC acknowledged application
    May 31 - Medicals NHSI
    June 4 - NHSI submitted results
    June 10 - Medicals referred to MOC June 4
    June 25 - was informed we needed addtl tests for hubby
    June 28 - hubby's meds uploaded and referred to HOC AUSTRALIA
    June 23 - received email from DIAC stating "we have recently received your husbands medical clearance".
    Aug 1 - request form 815 health undertaking passed it on the same day :)
    Aug 5 - emailed diac that i have to be able to attend uni on the 12th otherwise i would need to defer my course.
    Aug 6 - they might have read my email and issued a grant at 2pm
    Aug 7 - received sms that they have dispatched documents thru courier

    Thank you god!!:) im done waiting :)

    @liyah22 hi!may nabasa akong topic sa forum about interviews before dont know which site obsessed/research mode ako nun.anyway,may nareject daw kc hndi nya nasbe kung ano ung mga subjects nya sa uni. ayun, so I guess mejo random din ang questions like address ng school mo and ano profession kukunin mo after. may nareject din kc and course nya accounting and then inask sya kng ano mggng work nya pagbalik sbe nya finance manager kc related naman daw lol. :)
