@aolee sir good day po! Ask ko lang po klangan ko pa po ba mag take ng AQF Certificate III? the Australian Qualifications Framework (commonly known as the AQF) kasi po mismatch un work ko sa tinapos ko Mechanical Eng'g po course ko sa Printing naman po from the very start un naging work ko kya plano ko po pa assess sa TRA ei Print Finisher. Kakatapos ko lang po ng 3 day seminar dto sa Singapore at may certificate na ako for Printing. Kasi sbi po ni sir lock_code2004 mag pa RPL po ako honestly wala po ako idea about RPL so what I did pa goggle goggle lng po ako. Pa help naman po. Kasi po un AQF it cost AU$2,995.00. Kakatapos ko lang po kasi magbayad din sa seminar medjo may kamahalan din tapos un sa vetassess assessment ko naman po unsuccessful as a Graphic Designer. Sir pa help naman po tama po ba decision ko na mag take ng AQF?

Once you obtain your AQF III, this can be used to apply for your Trades Recognition Australia migration certificate which then leads to your visa application. the Australian Qualifications Framework (commonly known as the AQF) is a unified system of national qualifications. The Framework is a highly visible, quality-assured national system of educational recognition which promotes lifelong learning and a seamless and diverse education and training system within Australia. The certificated system for tradespeople range from I – IV. Certificate III is the minimum standard needed to secure a positive skill assessment from TRA. Without it (and assuming that you do not have a 4 year formal apprenticeship), you are highly likely to never be eligible to migrate to Australia as a skilled migrant.

@Howard - you really dont need to enroll sa Australia...
from what i can understand, you need to have something equivalent to atleast an AQF III ...

most us did not study in australia, and we were able to get assessment because our education qualification was assessed as "EQUIVALENT" to an AQF degree...

Sir/Madam ask ko lang po sana
Im 23 years old nurse po= 25 points
IELTS ko po 8 all band= 20 points
skilled employment ko po as nurse= 2 years lang
Educational attainment bachelors= 15 points
all in all 60 points lang ako
ask ko lang kung pwede ko na ba i start application kahit 2 years lang experience ko

heto na, this is the start, I've just booked IELTS general module, and in less than month time na ang exam.. todo review ng materials and youtube ng tips and exercises.

Gusto ko sana isabay ang paghanda ng skills assessment under EA but nakakalito at mukhang complicated, at andaming requirements.

I decided not to get an agent na din, since my friend did it by themselves, and so i told myself why can't I. What are your thoughts on my decision?

@francefox for filipino nurses to apply for PR we need to be assessed by ANMC and for us to be assess kailangan natin isend docs sa ahpra wherein ahpra will advise us to undergo bridging program depending sa assessment nila sa hosp experience mo, reason for the said bridging program is that yung education natin sa pinas isn't the same standard as theirs, so yun. usually naman pag may hospital experience na 3mos yung iaadvise ng ahpra, having said that we need to go oz in a student visa and take the course tas after that then ur eligible na to register, apply for work and later on apply for PR.

try this site for further info. www.allnurses.com search mo lang about bridging program para maintindihan mo ang buong process, madami pinoy nurses dyan.

and www.ahpra.gov.au tas hanapin mo AGOS40 na form yun yung ipapass mo na reuirements ng ahpra. may ibang discussions din dito about nurses pls read it.

Question po ulit regarding assessment. Ganito kasi ang situation ko, I was hired by Company A (Agency) last May2007-August2008, at nakaassigned ako sa Company B during this times. Then August2008, naabsurb ako ni Company B. Mag 5years na ko this coming August kay Company B. Gustong gusto ko na po talagang ipasa ang papers ko for assessment sa vetassess since kumpleto na lahat kaya lang kulang ng less than 2months para maging 5years experience ko kay Company B alone. Kung isasama ko naman ung Company A sa assessment, need ko pa magbayad para sa PTA.

1. Since nabasa ko dito sa forum na ung assessment usually inaabot ng 12weeks, ok lang kaya na di ko na i-tick yung PTA sa application ko? By the time na lumabas yung result ng assessment ko, more than 5years na ko nun kay Company B.
2. Si DIAC naman ang magbibigay ng points di po ba? Or should I say, ikaw ang magaassume ng points mo (education and experiences) based dun sa result ng assessment

Guys, i am planning to lodge my 189 visa this saturday, puede ko na ba unahin kunin yung ibang requirement na nababasa ko dito sa forum like police clearance and medicals or dapat mag wait ako sa email ng CO after lodging?

@pmzinoz - medicals aftr lodging only, you need to print something online para sa clinic
- police clearance depedne sa country, example sg needs letter from the CO..

Finally got my IELTS scores. okay naman - was hoping I'd get the 20 points, but okay na rin.

question to everyone:

I'm also looking at getting a State Sponsorship from Victoria. Should I get the Sponsorship first before I file the EOI? or should I file the EOI first?

Also, can I get an Sponsorship already before I get assessment from ACS?

Hello, does the school from where you have graduated has a big role to be able to pass in the assessment? Because my brother failed for the Vetassess assessment, although his qualification for his job experience and transcript of records are exceptional. He graduated from University of the East with the degree of Bachelor of Science in Fine Arts and worked in multi-national companies here and in SG for almost 10yrs now. The Vetassess told him that his degree is only equivalent to a diploma degree in Australia. I also lodged my application last month for the assessment of my Pharmacy qualification with Australian Pharmacy Council, I'm working as a registered Retail Pharmacist for 14yrs now, I graduated from Manila Central University, maybe I won't also pass for the assessment,if they are after the school from where you graduated. Thanks

@imeetr - hi, did he get a Negative/Unsuccessful skills assessment?
or the educational qualification is only assessed as diploma?

@lock_code2004 The negative result was for his educational qualification- Bachelor's degree (Fine Arts) major in advertising accding to Vetassess this is only equivalent as a diploma course in Australia, but his skills assessment is good. He was thinking, because of the school that might have caused him to failed the assessment? What would you recommend for this? Thanks.

@imeetr - okay then it is not a "negative" assessment... don't call it negative result, because it is a positive assessment result, it's just that he got a lower educ qual assessment than what you are expecting..

- many of the members here got the same assessment for educ qualification, because of several factors (school, curriculum content, grades, licensing requirements PRC, etc...)
- but yes, on your first question... school has an impact on whether your degree in the PH will be assessed as equivalent to an AU degree or not..

he can still proceed with the EOI visa application (assuming he will get 60pts):
- so the only impact on his application is that, he cannot claim the equivalent AU degree = 15pts
- based on the educ qualification assessment result , he can only claim equivalent to AU diploma = 10pts..

I recommend, calculate your EOI points.. and let's see..

@lock_code2004..hello po ulit. hindi po kasi ako board passer pero ang inonominate ko sana e internal auditor. nag email ako sa Vetassess kung okay lang mag pa assess ng internal auditor kahit hindi board passer eto naman ang sagot nila

You certainly do not have to have a CPA for the purpose of our skills assessment.

With regard to qualification, we only require tertiary educational qualifications.
