    hello everyone. Tanong ko lang, kung may extension ba yung student visa 573 after ng study? how long po kaya? I hope you can help me with this concern. Kasi possible na 1-year course yung kukuhanin ko, so I'm hoping na after ng study I can look for an employer that would sponsor me for the working visa before the expiration of my previous visa. Coz from what I've read in this forum, mas madali kang makakakuha ng job pagnandun pa sa OZ.

    I'm still thinking din kasi kung ano mas maganda 1-year or 2-year course. One advantage of the latter is that I'm qualified to apply for the 2 yrs post-study work visa (work right if I'm not mistaken) but it's quite too expensive to study again for 2 yrs and quite too long yung time frame. Sa 1-yr naman, kelangan lang talaga ng employer after the study to have a working visa. Tama ba?

    I'm so confused, d ko alam kung ano mas magandang option na pipiliin ko. I already have the letter offer for the 2-yr course and still waiting for the other one with a 1-yr.

    May ask for your opinion about this. Thanks.

    @shyla_guccis hello.. You can stay in AU up to 2 months after matapos yung program mo. Say til 31 July yung program mo, you can stay until 30 September..

    Hi po sa lahat. First post ko po dito. Palagi lang po ako naka lurk nagbabasa ng mga post nyo. Tanong ko lang po, may Full Offer na po ako from Charles Darwin Univ for July 15 intake. Aabot pa po ba visa ko if mag.lodge this week? Sabi naman ng CDU they can give extension until July 29 in case delay of visa. SVP po apply ko 573. Ano po ang risk if ipilit ko mag lodge sa student visa application ko for July intake? Tapos ano mangyayari kung after July 29 wla pa rin visa ko?

    June 5, 2013 - IDP forwarded the Provisional Offer Letter. Received visa checklist from IDP. CDU acknowledged financial documents from my sponsor.
    June 19, 2013 - paid tuition fee to CDU, got Offer Letter and COE from CDU.
    June 20, 2013 - receive Full Offer
    June 24, 2013 - paid courier fee of 900 pesos as IDP's request through email
    June 25, 2013 - Visa lodged
    June 26, 2013 - got acknowledgement text message
    July 1, 2013 - email notice to undergo medical exam
    July 2, 2013 - medical at NHSI Cebu
    July 10, 2013 - medical results uploaded

    May 27, 2013 - Sent application to Charles Darwin University (CDU)
    May 28, 2013 - Got Provisional Offer Letter from CDU
    May 30, 2013 - IDP forwarded requirements to CDU
    June 2, 2013 - CDU asking for the signed Provisional Offer Letter
    June 5, 2013 - IDP forwarded the Provisional Offer Letter. Received visa checklist from IDP. CDU acknowledged financial documents from my sponsor.
    June 19, 2013 - paid tuition fee to CDU, got Offer Letter and COE from CDU.
    June 20, 2013 - receive Full Offer
    June 24, 2013 - paid courier fee of 900 pesos as IDP's request through email
    June 25, 2013 - Visa lodged
    June 26, 2013 - got acknowledgement text message
    July 1, 2013 - email notice to undergo medical exam
    July 2, 2013 - medical at NHSI Cebu
    July 10, 2013 - medical results uploaded
    July 10, 2013 - emailed [email protected] to ask status, however no reply from them
    July 12, 2013 - received email from [email protected] and IDP for the Visa grant! Thank you, Lord!

    Hmm.. Yung sakin naman mabilis naman naprocess yung grant.. Kung macomplete mo yung requirements And ma-lodge mo agad application, better.. As to kung anong mangyayari pag ala pa yung visa ng 29 July, I suggest ask mo yung University about it.. Or baka may info na nakaindicate sa letter of offer re: visa..

    @nutellagirl thanks sa reply. Complete na reqts ko tapos by tomorrow bayad na sa school then promise ng international admissions manager ng school ay bigay agad niya COE para makapag lodge na ako. Kaso lang suggest ng counselor ko sa idp ay mag defer ako for Feb 2014 intake nalang kasi daw i cannot catch up na raw. Di raw ako nakaabot sa standard processing time ng embassy para sa student visa. Kala ko pa naman mabilis lang pag SVP.

    Magbabayad ba ako ulit ng student visa application fee in case mag lodge ako this week tapos wala pa rin visa ko on July 29 then mag defer ako for Feb 2014 nalang? Ang sabi kasi ng idp at ng school ay it is up to me if i will take that risk. And di ko maintindihan is ano ang "risk". Is it the application fee of 23,900?

    June 04 - Uploaded my Med Results to AU-Emb as per NHIC
    June 06-21 - Constant/Everyday email to DIAC
    June 27 - Medical Results uploaded 4 June
    July1 - Follow up again
    July 6 (Sat) - CO Allocated
    July 9 - sent/asking Visa status update to my CO
    July 9, (PM) - We seek to finalise your visa application in the next 3 days- replied from Embassy
    July 12 - Embassy asked for update COE/Late arrival letter from my course provider
    July 15 - submit my updated COE to my CO Mr as per advised my Ms
    July 16 - acknowledged my submitted docs and they're aware of my new commencement date and my papers still on process.....
    July 15-17 - emailed them for status update and no reply since 16 July....
    July 22 - DIAC Emailed me and asked for bank history for
    July 23 - submitted Affidavit of support, bank history from my auntie
    July 25 - received a visa refusal letter..
    Reason for Visa Refusal
    These funds were not considered because the applicant has not provided evidence of regular income from her financial supporter.  
    July 26 - what a birthday present I received from Air21!!!

    Refusal letter made after 61days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    June 8 - sent application to embassy thru agency
    June 19 - acknowledgement letter received
    June 20 - medicals done at NHSI Cebu.
    June 25 - medicals uploaded
    July 13 - Visa granted. Thank you Lord!
