    EXACTLY...

It will only get more expensive and more strict! :)

Besides, on the topic of maka-bawi or not; for me this is irrelevant eh. Ang iniisip ko kasi bumibili ako ng better future for myself and my wife. And eventually our kids...

    Yun lang! :)

    Is it worth it?

Answer: Just think about this, where will your 200K leads you in the philippines? If you see something brighter in your future then just stay there. But if you feel that theres more out there in Australia that will be worth more than 160K (for couple) or 200k (for family of 3) then the answer is definitely WORTH more than the amount. We are talking about our lifetime of living in AU not just 2yrs or 3yrs (Well 5years if you dont opt to apply for citizenship) Also think about the benefits you will be entitled to: free medical assistance and schooling, which you will never get in phils (in terms of the level of facilities and services) If you get sick, or is giving birth, or undergoing operation your 200K might not be enough (private hospital of course, unless you risk yourself going to public) then you enroll your kids to private school, your 200K might only last till 2nd grade. (Unless you dont mind public school)

Just my two cents. We may have opposing opinions and i respect yours. But if i were asked, then thats my answer. Thank you. World peace! Hahaha

Hi I would like to seek your opinions about my plans on applying for both countries AU and CA. I know this is so expensive move, but for my peace of mind I decided to push through. The reason behind this is because my immediate family are in US at malapit ang CA sa US although work is not that abundant in CA unlike in AU mas marami work sa IT. Para kc US jr ang CA, at ang malapit sa lugar ng ate ko at magulang na nasa US. Looking on AU, mas marami daw work at laid back so baka may chance makapagbakasyon palagi sa Pinas at US. I only have 1 cousin in AU and some friends who also migrated there too. Yun nga lng mahal din ang ticket ng AU going to Pinas parang US ticket din, and if you like to go out of AU you have to fly out unlike CA that shares border with US.

I'm thinking if ever d ko magustuhan sa AU, I have a choice to go in CA. May katagalan din ang processing ng CA so Baka mauna pa so AU basta Hindi magbabago ang policy nila sa July. Testing water ba, 30k ata processing sa CA hindi kcing mahal ng AU. I'm single kaya go anywhere kaya LNG family proximity factor ang nakakaapekto sakin why i cannot help not to consider CA other than that AU could be perfect. i would like to know your opinions or baka meron dyan na same case sakin. Thank you.

Finding job in Canada is much more difficult than Australia based on my personal opinion. Mas mtindi kasi competition dun and mas harsh yung local exp requirements. Also a lot pf americans are now crossig there to find job since down economy nila right now. But also depends on your own luck and personal qualifications.

Moving forward magiging mabilis na din sa Canada as nag start na sila ng skills assessment like Australia so promise ng labor minister nila this 2013 is all applications will be completed within a year. Next year 2014 pilot testing na nila yung EOI.

Ang challenge mo ngaun is makakuha ng visa kasi konti lng nilabas nilang skillset for FSW (check kung nandun yung Skillset mo) and konti lang quota and if possible sayo mag regional sponsorship. And yes mas mura processing fees sa Canada. Most people o know is moving now in Alberta or Winnipeg kasi tough competion and mahal masyado sa ontario and vancouver.

Kuha nalang ulit IELTS (kinulang ako ng 0.5 dati sa speaking) then redo the process again. Tapos na mga skills assessment q. Mukha kasi mahirap makahanap ng work pag regional visa eh. I think i made a bad decision getting this 475 visa.

Kuha nalang ulit IELTS (kinulang ako ng 0.5 dati sa speaking) then redo the process again. Tapos na mga skills assessment q. Mukha kasi mahirap makahanap ng work pag regional visa eh. I think i made a bad decision getting this 475 visa.

Kaya sa mga kukuha ng visa go for PR visa agad...para di na doble doble ang gastos.
Too late na. Start na yang visa fees na yan ngaun July. So ipon2 nalang pandagdag talaga =(

Hahaha

You wont know if it is when you wont try

Thank you.
Go to Australia .. after you got your Australian Citizenship go to Canada ....

^^ thats my plan. im still curious on the way of life on that side of the world. If everything went well according to our plan, After getting OZ citizenship i would still like to try getting Canadian PR and/or work to US. Nung bata pa kasi ako, na may suot na butas na sando at sira sirang tsinelas, i already have this American dream. Then, pag hindi ko nagustuhan then go back to Oz nalang din ulit and then during retirement years might go back to philippines. Maybe when im too old, i will be more sentimental and look back on my own life in Ph which i may say mahirap pero masaya. I will plan for my retirement funding na rin in the near future.
