@psychoboy. Pasensya na po if Im trying all the options that I could and my CO can think of. If it will yield the same result... this truly breaks my heart i just cant explain the intensity.

Tama yang ginagawa mo... Exhaust all means kung pupwede.

Personally I would suggest asking directly your CO on what possible means can he/she accept so as to increase your score.

IELTS is the only means possible I can think of but I dunno if papayag sya nito.

By the way, deducting 5 pts, di ka ba aabot sa 60?

what do you mean by passer? board exam? wala naman po board exam ang CoE sir.
wala rin ako microsoft certs.

Hindi ko pa na email si CO ulet, she is trying to check with EL-NOOSR kung ano magiging assessment ng Bachelor degree ko, kaya nakapag create or nakapag tanong din po ako ditto regarding EL-NOOSR.

Sabi ni CO, she will contact me once na received na nya ung outcome...

Kaya di ko rin sya ma email at this point, any advice if I should ask her for any other options?

"Educational qualifications
An applicant may also be able to claim points for a qualification not related to their nominated occupation, for example they may hold a trade qualification related to their nominated occupation and an unrelated Bachelor degree. If the assessing authority conducting their skills assessment cannot provide an opinion on the non related qualification, applicants should contact the Vocational Education Training and Assessment Services (VETASSESS). VETASSESS is the national assessing authority for a broad range of management, administration, professional and associate professional occupations."

Nagpa-assess ka na po ba? Sa assessment po kasi andun yung mga info para malaman mo kung anong puede mo i-claim like years of experience na counted at ung educational qualification. Sample:

Your qualification has been assessed as follows:

Your Bachelor of Science in from completed has been assessed as comparable to an AQF Bachelor Degree with major in computing.

So based jan, puede ka magclaim mg bachelors degree.

@lock_code2004 and @jengrata Thank you so much guys! I appreciate it a lot! I'm in such a dilemma kasi my agent told me that my CO is confused about my education. According to Vetassess, my field of study is not highly relevant although my skills assessment outcome is positive maybe because of my experience which is more than 2 years. Ngayon ang confusion lies on how many points I can claim.

@nomad - there should be two things, in your assessment result
1. skills assessment (which you said is positive), so you can claim based on the assessed relevant work experience.
2. educ qualification - whether or not highly relevant to your occupation, dapat may assessment din kung equivalent ba sya sa AQF diploma or degree.. meron bang ganito or wala?

pero most of assessing authorities may nakalagay na ganun sa result, yun ang basis to claim Diploma or Degree..

nag-apply ba kayo ng Point Test Advice?

@lock_code2004 yeah I know, sorry to bother kasi as in ngayon ko lang tlaga pinansin yung mga ganitong details since I have an agent. It's just recently that I've been researching about claiming points when the CO raised this question. I'm sure my agent also has his justification on the points claimed but I'm doing my part as well by gathering information and first-hand experience here. Anyways, thank you for the time. I have to ask about PTA with my agent. I'm just gutted at this point. Sorry for the OT

The decision to award points for Educational qualification remains with of the departmental case officer.

So, you need to convince and enlighten your CO about your case. Yung friend ko na PR na sa au, ang layo tlga ng field of study nya sa occupation nya. Pero approved naman.

@nomad - so, yung CO pala ang nag-ask ng clarification about your claim points, so im guessing, the results (w/o PTA) has no information about the assessment on your educ qualification.

@Jengrata yeah sis, I've read about that kaya nga medyo po kabado ako ngayon kasi si CO tlaga ang last na may say overriding the assessing body.

Ako po ganyan din. Pero parehas kami ng partner ko na ayaw. Meron po ba differences sa passport na ginamit nyo? I mean meron kayo old and newly issued? naitanong ko lang po kasi yan lang ang nakikitang kong problem sa eHealth ko, yung lumang passport ang nakaregister samantalang meron na ako bagong passport.

But anyway, puede po kayo mag proceed sa eclinic, just tell them the TRN puede po nila iprocess and actually puede po nila i print yung referral letter nyo.

TRIM na ang mga requirements namin sa eVisa page.
Police clearance nalang ang kulang sa asawa ko.
Ang sakin dalawa, SG police clearance at medicals ko requested pa din.
Na referred ata talaga yun, pero d ako sinasabihan ng CO.
