we converted from PH to SG license as well last March. tinatanggap pa rin nila yung blue receipt from LTO.

hello po, pwede po mag ask if mern po kau idea na pag PR sa singapore, then apply ng work sa australia kung needed pa dumaan sa atin sa POEA ( para sa clearance or para makapag work sa australia ) if in case po, mern din po ba kau idea kung gaano katagal? salamat po :")

No need na po POEA kung immigrant ka or PR ng any country. All you need to pay is the processing fee of Php200 and the terminal fee.

Pero kung working visa ang hawak mo sa AU, then you need to go through POEA.

in this particular issue, i think, requirement lang ang POEA/PDOS etc.. kung dadaan ka pa ng PINAS, bago pumunta ng AU...

so kung nasa SG ka, at ang flight mo direct to AU, wala naman magchecheck sayo nyan..
it is only a requirement by our Phil Immigration sa Phil Airports, so kung hindi ka dadaan sa Phils, hindi mo kailangan nyan...

assuming you went straight to AU from SG, then magvacation ka sa Pinas after with a AU working visa, then you really need to register, either in AU (in Phil Embassy/OWWA) , or sa Phils while on vacation..

please share/comment if this logic is wrong..

hindi na po kelangang ipresent ung mga docs na sinubmit mo for visa application, you just need to present to the immigration officer ung passport with the sticker (if nagpa visa evidencing ka sa Au embassy dyan sa SG), prepare mo dn ung visa grant letter mo just in case lang n hanapin pero passport is enough

if I may:

yes tama ka @tin0712 - ito yung sticker like the visa being issued including the US; no requirement for this except a duly approved visa sa Australia and payment for this - I think currently at A$70... Mejo pricey!!

nung nagpa visa evidencing ako pero that was 2010 libre nman sa AU embassy, ndi ko alam n may bayad n pala ngayon....pero anyway, punta ka lang sa AU embassy then u bring your visa grant letter then lalagyan nla ng sticker ung passport mo

My Ph license was converted to Sg DL last year, and yeah wala din ako kotse dito, Radio controlled car meron ahhaha...

Simple lang process, go to nearest DRiving center, pasked ng exam, of course dala mo yung Ph DL mo for verification, costs 11.58sgd dati, usually one month na ang next available exam skeds, just review more on road signs, others will be more on common sense na. 50pts yung exam, time pressure, nakalimutan ko na ilang minutes pero 15mins lang tapos na ako 48/50:D (yabang mode) malalaman mo ma rin agad score mo. Tapos at the same day pwede mo na iconvert license, just dont forget to bring IC and passport, including the old Passport...it cost 50 bucks, after a month u will get the DL card via post

Nagpa-plano rin kaming mag-asawa mag-migrate sa AU. Thankful ako at nakita ko itong forum. Parang ang first step pala is magtake ng IELTS. Tanong lang po sa mga nag-IELTS dito - may mai-recommend ba kayo na affordable review center dito sa SG? If kaya ng budget namin, nais ko sana mag-enroll. Salamat po...

Hi @JPK, wala ako alam na IELTS review centers dito in Sg, sorry, but I think kaya naman mag self-review. What I did was "light" reviewing during weekdays, basa basa lang ng tips and listen sa youtube ng IELTS tips during work (if ok lang mag earphones sa workplace nyo). And during weekends I spent 4-6 hours answering practice exams ng Cambridge IELTS reviewer.

Hi po..I am holding a regional sponsored visa at currently 3 months na dito sa West Au. Unfortunately wala pa ako work di naman ako pihikan (nag apply na ako sa Coles, Wools, bunnings,meat labours, cleaner - all online and walkin inquiry) pero I don't have the luck na maka kuha man lang ng interview. As a matter of fact panay rejection eh. I tried din sa mining pero same result rejection, manufacturing kasi background q dyan sa SG.

Now i am thingking worth pa ba ipag patuloy sa Au? I still hold PR sa Sg until 2016 (my backup plan kasi nga temp lang visa q kaya diko ni renounce) and thingking bumalik nalang or get my cpf then mag training nalang ako dito. I still love SG, very convenient lahat para sa akin but I am thingking also for the future of my kids here in Au.

Haizzz.....Now in my case jobless pa ako, will I go back or pursue? If you were in my shoes ano po gagawin nyo?

@dusuama before you go to Au, what expectations do you have? How many months of job hunting have you prepared yourself for? 3 months ba? Are you living with family or alone? Do you have means and resources to support yourself or family while you are still jobless? Marami kasing dapat i-consider when deciding the next step.

@TasBurrfoot - Pati ba yung CV pinanotarize nyo na rin? Should I bring photocopies of all my documents or dun na lang nila ipphotocopy lahat? Ilang copies ang kelangang ipaCTC?

Plan ko sana during lunch break dumaan kay Andrew Ee since malapit lang naman dito yung office nya. Sandali lang ba yun?

For me, I would suggest and encourage you to continue and try harder.

@clickbuddy2009 - I don't see the need to notarize the CV as this in fact original naman if you are to be very strict about it... Original yan at ginawa mo yan personally; no need to pay Mr Andrew Ee to say that it is original...

Photocopy mo na yung documents mo; that is what me and my wife did para sa ganun pakita mo lang original copy and once they have sighted it, pirmahan na kaagad. With regard to then number of copy, one copy will do... Have it scanned nalang (in full colour) for future reference and for use sa DIAC requirements.

Di ata kaya lunch break as kumakain din si Mr Ee noon - cguro you can call them and ask for an appointment, pwede naman ata iwanan yung mga documents eh.

Nga pala, both you and your wife are accountant? Based on your timeline, parang ang bilis nyo nagkaroon ng work sa Melbourne. Dun din ang punta namin ng wife ko once maapproved ang visa namin. Accountant (General) din sya. Sya ung iniexpect kong makakakuha kaagad ng work dyan since medyo madalang ngayon ang hiring sa linya ko. But i'm not losing hope as God will surely provide.

Accountant (General) din sya. Sya ung iniexpect kong makakakuha kaagad ng work dyan since medyo madalang ngayon ang hiring sa linya ko. But i'm not losing hope as God will surely provide.

@clickbuddy2009 - only my wife is the accountant... it took her more than 2 months before nakahanap ng work. so far, ok naman sya ngayon. enjoying and learning something new.
