@Vinzz - advise lang never to use others credit card when booking thru jetstar of flight manila-singapore or v.v. because they require the personal appearance of credit card as well as the credit card owner in the counter to verify the transaction. marami n daw hindi pinayagan makaalis because of this, yung iba bumili n lang ng ibang ticket (cash) then pinrefund yung binili thru credit card yun nga lang 60 days bago makuha and not sure if my charge pa.

In addition to what @Allysond said, not all tickets are refundable. Check ng mabuti yung restrictions ng ticket. Always keep in mind, the cheaper the ticket is, the more restrictions it has..

Normally this can be addressed by getting a copy of the credit card as well as an authorization letter wherein the card owner can attest that the purchase of the ticket was rightfully sanctioned...

I always do this previously when I buy ticket for my family to use going to Singapore.

this is true for most airlines.. kaya before i buy, i call them first, kung anung documents ang kailangan if the owner of the credit card will not be flying with the ticket holder/s..

so when i bought tickets from Dubai or Houston... for my family member's in the Philippines.. they asked me to visit their sales office to present myself and the credit card..
hassle lang konti, pero that's their way of checking if the credit card transaction is illegal or not..

based po on experience and i clarrified it dozen of times s jetstar, they are not allowing photocopy of credit card neither authorization, they told me its just for manila-singapore vv flight, there is a certain agreement regarding credit card fraud that was implemented by jetstar. for other airlines photocopy of credit card can be done pero sa jetstar hindi po talaga.

i dont know if nagbago na yung rule nila pero last april this year lang yung experience nmin,..sana nga magbago kasi hassle tlga lalo na at terminal 1 ang jetstar.

sabi ng jetstar is it just manila to singapore, other flights ok naman.

pag nagbook ka kasi ng manila-singapore then before inconfirm yung credit card meron dun mgpop out n msg n need nga daw iverify ng credit card holder yung credit card, before din akala ko its just the usual rule na ok lang yung photocopy but when i read it, hind pala mas strict pala.

better safe na lang siguro, anyway lagi nman nakalagay sa e-ticket yung rule nila or better we can check s customer service nila.

Thanks sa tips guys. Nka book na ko nxt week MNL-SG then SG-MEL with 7 hrs layover time. Mura lang sya actually 20k with 25kg check in baggage. Ang basic fare is around 14k eh tpos bnili ko n lng yung 25kg check in baggage kya mas mahal ng onti. Not included pa yung travel tax dun. Question lng po, advisable po kaya na lumabas ako city with just 7 hrs layover tym? Sa Changi po yung layover ko.

I got my ticket at 17,500 PhP.

    My Timeline
June 30, 2012- Took IDP IELTS Exam in Clark, Pampanga

August 16, 2012- Submitted document for Engineers Australia Skills Assessment (Telecommunications Engineer)
Dec. 18, 2012- Officially received positive assessment result from EA. Work experience count was wrong, made an appeal to EA.
    Jan. 4, 2013- Submitted EOI
Jan. 7, 2013- received invitation to apply for Subclass 189 Skilled Migrant Permanent Visa
Feb 21, 2013- Received correct Assessment Outcome from EA

You need to register sa CFO and attend their seminar (which is a waste of time in my opinion) - afterwards, they will issue you with a sticker and this basically will be what the immigration office will look for when you leave clarke... Bring a print-out of your visa grant as well upon departure.

Did you buy your ticket in one booking? If so, it would be possible for your bags to be checked-through meaning di ka na mag check-in ulit sa Malaysia. If you bought your tickets individually then you really to check it in MNL, check it out in KUL and check it in again before reaching your destination in Sydney.

    Hope this helps!

I got my ticket at 17,500 PhP.

Thanks for your reply. Do you have any idea how many days before my departure should I attend the CFO seminar?

I bought my ticket individually so i'll check-out in KUL then check-in again. ayos lang kasi 8 hours ang hihintayin ko for my next flight and I don't have any plan to roam around KL.

As long as meron kana visa, you can do it anytime... CHECK the schedule though as twice a week lang ata offered ang seminar for Australia.
